I am sure you will be pleased to know that our stay in Tobago ranked among the very best of the (now many) family holidays that we have had. All the properties we stayed in were very special and all quite different and we loved Jacaranda House. The views were fantastic, the house itself really quite unique and the pool really speical - we had an unforgettable time there, and were very sad to leave. Also - very appreciative of the help and advice that you offered before we went - it was very useful and much appreciated. We are hoping to come back to Tobago next year

Hi Paul Please find below our review for your great villa….sorry don't have a Facebook account. Just for info, I put a list of the birds seen from the veranda in the back of the visitor book…46 species! Thanks C and N Great villa with stunning views and super facilities. Lovely pool. The property was as described; well maintained and clean, and the housekeeper was very friendly and helpful. Feedback from the owners regarding queries before travelling was excellent. We would recommend the property. You should hire a car to see the rest of the island though. The flora and fauna, especially bird-watching, was excellent. Minor downside; needed insect repellent. The local restaurant, The Fish Pot, served tasty lunch and desserts. Shorethings Cafe was excellent and friendly, and Kariwak Village Restaurant was also good. The Beach Bar food was a little disappointing. A local guide for a rainforest trip is recommended (we used Mr Trim).

Lovely Christmas holiday and relaxing time thanks to Ulin. Every time we all fall in love with Tobago again and again and again.... We’ll miss Jacaranda’s view and Mot Mot (Tobago’s national bird) having breakfast with his friends every morning. Booked again already.

My family and I stayed at this villa for two weeks and had a lovely time. The villa itself is mainly open plan and has far reaching views of the caribbean sea which is absolutely gorgeous. It has everything you will need during your stay although the cooker only has two settings which took some getting used to. Jacaranda house is situated within walking distance to a variety of shops, bar and restaurant although if you hire a car there are many more within a short drive. The villa comes with a housekeeper (Ulin) and a night watchman (Mr Alexander), they are both lovely people who will make you feel at home with their fun personalities and cheery smiles. There was plenty of wildlife at the villa during our stay so this could be seen as a plus or minus depending on your outlook and the variety of birds seen were amazing. The island of tobago is breath taking and you will be spoilt for choice by the many beaches there. You could think they were private as none were overcrowded and the views went on for miles.Would recommend hiring a car so you can see the whole island and get a taste of tobago. Jacaranda house provides you with a lovely place to stay where you can relax with family or friends but if you like nightlife this is never far away. I would also like to point out what great customer service i received from the owner before we travelled it was invaluable. He was always available to answer questions however trivial. Would definitely recommend this villa as we had such a great time both in and out of the pool and as i have already said it makes a great base as its within easy reach of many beaches and other amenities.

Ulin was also very helpful so I sincerely hope we didn't leave her with too much work. The night watchman was also very good company; we mostly sought his company and his stories of Tobago. Thank you for everything. Your service and the hospitality shown on our trip were unparalleled. Our car rental came to us on time and on the last day when I was leaving Mr Charbonne came back to collect the car; unbelievably convenient. The house was wonderful therapy for the soul and all in all this trip to Tobago was by far the most magical for most of us (and most of us have visited Tobago numerous times). The house designs were especially breathtaking. I noticed that you used many peaks/points throughout the house which continued in the partitions, rails, front steps and pool design. What was the theme or thinking behind these? It was all rather intriguing [PP - that was our architect’s imaginative idea.]

After three years this house is still fantastic. Tobago has not changed at all, always AMAZING. Englishman's Bay (island's best kept secret!) is one of the best beaches we have ever seen!!!

My husband and I have just returned from the most fantastic holiday in your stunning and beautiful Jacaranda House. Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing home. I was completely taken aback each day at sunrise at the magnificent views and pure tranquility. We had a truly fantastic time and loved each and every moment. The Island which we explored in detail was beautiful, we certainly made good use of the car. I will be singing the praises to anyone who listens for a long time to come and will certainly be coming back for more. Once again, sincere thanks to you and all your caring and superb staff.

We have enjoyed our stay here at Jacaranda House - the lovely pool and the wonderful sea view. We have been wonderfully looked after by Ulin (the housekeeper). The Fish Pot (restaurant very near the house) - an excellent meal out. Pigeon Point - a great beach and lagoon. Humming birds at Arnos Vale

Jacaranda house was better than I had imagined! The house is beautiful, with a nice private pool and panoramic views of the ocean. This villa is perfect for people looking for a relaxing vacation where you can either cook meals at the house or go out to restaurants close by. The property was very well-maintained, and the housekeeper was very knowledgeable and helpful. The owner provided great customer service in the weeks leading up to our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone staying on the island of Tobago! If you're there on a Sunday night, you have to check out "Sunday School" in Buccoo. It's a fun party that has a good mix of locals and tourists, all dancing to the sound of a steel pan band. It was the highlight of our trip!

What a spot you have there. View, pool and a great house. It is obviously run very well, unlike some of the other places we have come across - and we know this because it's our business too. We do this stuff every day so your house was a delight especially because it all worked! Ulin [the housekeeper] - what a breath of fresh air. We loved her chirpy 'hi hi' every day and she does a good job with a smile on her face. The only thing that went a bit wrong was the pool. The guys took a day or two off and the pool went to the dogs so they had to shock it when they got back and we had to stay out of it for a day. No major problem though. My favourite spot Black Rock /Grafton beach was grumpy some days and like a mill pond on others. Had some cracking rain but mostly at night. Anyway, we shall recommend the house to interested parties and hope to return at some point ourselves.

We stayed at this villa during our daughter’s wedding held on the beautiful beaches and the Seahorse Inn. Could not ask for better accommodation for a reasonable price during a bit of stress and confusions that comes with a family wedding. The villa is large and comfortable, the view if the ocean is captivating, the pool was great to keep our kids occupied with supervision. We had a celebration dinner on the upper floor, there was os much space for many guests. The housekeeper, Ulin, was awesome, kept the place clean in spite of our large numbers, she was p[art of our family, great lady. Felt safe with the night watchman.

"What can you say about this villa that has not been said, put it this way a few years ago i stayed nearby at santuary villas and thought that was lovely, i also went to a restaurant called the stonehaven pavillion where the views were out of this world. Well all this changed when i stayed at Jacaranda, the views were simply stunning and the space was fantastic, so good were the views i went to the same restaurant, and it was the food that myself and friends talked about and not the views. The maid service was fab also, a meal was waiting for us when we arrived a lovely local dish, all we had to do was heat it up spot on after a long trip, the money was irrelevant about £12.00 for 4 of us plus ingredients. The beds were changed daily and the villa was cleaned everyday. Ulin was her name, or mum would be also a good name as she is so kind and thoughtful. The owners were very helpful right up to the point of going giving us all the info we could possibly need. Not a lot more i can say really apart from go on about the island which i love, another must for anyone is Castara beach heaven on earth with views to die for and a bar of pure delight. See you soon. I spent a week with friends in Jacaranda House. It was perfect! The house was everything I expected and hoped for. It's very well designed and unique - the master bedroom, kitchen, living and dining rooms are on the first floor with open verandahs and spectacular, uninterrupted views of the sea. The other bedrooms are on the ground floor and also have views out to sea The garden is full of exotic plants, including an amazing bougainvillea which attract the birds. There are plenty of sun loungers. The pool is deep enough for diving and long enough for doing lengths! During our stay we were looked after brilliantly by Ulin, the housekeeper. She's an amazing cook too. Tobago has many beaches and plenty of opportunities for water sports. The restaurants are varied in cuisine and price - from beach shacks to fine dining! Our favourite was The Fish Pot just below the house - the freshest fish you'll ever find and at really reasonable prices. I can really recommend Tobago and Jacaranda House in particular.

Our stay at Jacaranda House on Tobago was excellent and the property lived up to expectations. The views from the property are stunning and are better than indicated by the website pictures. The layout of Jacaranda House is fine with the living rooms on the top floor opening up onto a large balcony with 180 views. The property is well equipped. The furniture and fittings in the house are fine but could be considered functional rather than luxurious but this I believe is typical of properties on Tobago. The arrangements made by the owner and the local management company worked like clockwork and could not be faulted. We would recommend Tobago and the property, in particular for those wanting a relaxing/quieter holiday. There are many beautiful beaches which when we were there were virtually deserted except those near the airport. We are a family of golfers and the two golf courses were fine with the main advantage that they were very quiet compared with Spain`or Portugal. The only issue, which was a surprise was the cost of eating out which was higher than we expected. In part a reflection of the low value of the pound. However if you are happy to do some cooking you can buy fish on a nearby beach direct from the fisherman. The best tuna we have ever eaten. Overall one of our best holidays and we will certainly return to Tobago and Jacaranda House.
