We just spent a week at Dana's Landing Condo. The condo is nicely decorated and furnished. The complex is nice and quiet. The location is fantastic, just a few steps from Strands Beach where you can take a long stroll on the beach, on a board walk, or connect with the trail system through Salt Canyon. There is also a beautiful nature trail that can take you by foot to the wharf. If you like to spend lots of time outside strolling or in the surf itself you will love this location.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We loved our week at Dana's Landing. We chose Dana Point because it is more family oriented than other beaches in California. We stayed during the week of July 4th and watched about 6 different fireworks shows. It was amazing! The condo is a comfortable and cozy beach condo that is very close to the beach, and the area seems very safe and quiet. The owners of the condo were very accommodating whenever we needed assistance. There are plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys, and boogie boards. Thanks Aaron and Gina for a fabulous vacation!

Our stay at Dana's Landing was nothing but great. The apartment was as described - comfortable and a great location. The kids had a great time on the owner provided boogie boards and my morning walks were spectacular. The neighbors were also friendly and helpful. Will look at this location again.

We stayed at Dana's Landing during our Spring Break vacation and it was absoutely perfect. Dana's point is a beautiful location. It sits right between LA and San Diego and is also a close drive to Disney. The views were great and the beach access is within walking distance. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. We had 4 adults and 3 children and had plenty of space. The owners were great in responding to questions before our vacation and had a very nice guide book in the condo once we arrived. The owners also had a lot of beach toys, towels and games for renters use, which came in very handy. We would absoutley go back to this location and rent this property and we highly recommend it to others. It was perfect in every way.

Condo is just as pictured and location next to Ritz Carlton is perfect. A new beach wall with boardwalk, funicular (inclined elevator), and stairs was great. Pool was heated along with great jacuzzi. Perfect for our family geat away to So Cal.

What a wonderful place you have. Our entire family had a great time at your place. The kids loved the beach chairs and boogie boards and the heated pool. We tried to visit every attraction, WOW, there are alot! Dana Point and Laguna Beach are so quaint and nice. Much nicer for us than being closer to Los Angeles. We will come back there is so much more to see. BTW- It was so nice having all the towels and linens provided. We have stayed in vacation rentals on East coast and they do not provide that stuff.

Excelent location BUT

Excellent location and resort facilities including beautiful pool BUTthe carpets and settees were stained and very dirty. The kitchen appliances were all good but the cupboards and drawers were very grubby as was the crockery. Bed linen was clean but unironed. Not warned by the owner that the entire parking area was being resurfaced for half of our stay and subsequent requests for a partial refund ignored.

Owner response:This was unfortunate that vacationer wanted refund for something out our control and we were not notified of this happeing. Because we didnt' provide partial refund, they now are being spitefull with this review. We have had over 300 guests in five years and all have loved our condo and location. The resurfacing lasted two days and they had to park on street (free) which is as close or closer than their reserved space to condo front door. 85% of our conod is tile floor or wood flooring. There is only a very small area of carpet. The cook ware is iodized nonstick by Calphalon, well above average, and is less than 6 months old. Ironing the bed linen is not part of our cleaning service, not even sure if the Ritz Carlton or St. Regis Resorts provide ironed bed linens for guests??? I inspected the cupards and there was one cupboard that had bread crumbs from toaster the rest were in good order.

We loved our stay in Dana Point. The condo was perfectly located amongst the attractions as well as great and safe for the kids. We had everything we needed and more during our stay. The beach is better than described! We will come again.

We had such a great stay in the condo and in California. The condo is located perfectly between LA and San Diego. The pool is great and close to the beach. The condo had all the appointments and fun stuff for kids at beach. We would rent this unit again!
