Two small holiday apartments on the hills near the beautiful medieval town of Lucca, 15 km away from the sea and the renovated Versilia coast. Panoramic and quiet position among olive trees, splendid view over the Apuan Alps and Pisa, swimming pool. The 2 Apartments are GINESTRA (sq.m.85, with garden on three sides) and GLICINE (sq.m.55, with a relaxing panoramic porch). They are completely new, independent and fully furnished. Our residential complex, Holiday Prato Verde, is situated in Chiatri Puccini, a small town on the hills surrounding Lucca , in Tuscany .
Our family manage the restaurant Prato Verde for over fifty years and in 2000 we have realized a summer residence to offer an holiday characterized by cordiality and hospitality that always has distinguished us.
We give the maximum attention to the guest's needs without ignoring their comfort.
The Residence has five comfortable flats situated on a splendid hill.
Then the special position offers a spectacular and unique view: northeasterly there are the Appennines, in the south east there are Pisa and Livorno, in the west the Massaciuccoli Lake , the Viareggio coast and Forte Dei Marmi.
You can admire this panoramic view lying down comfortably on the swimming pool edge or when you are on the flat's terraces that are surrounded by olives and woods to have a fresh and windy climate also in the summer.
Guests have the possibility to use the swimming pool provided with a sterilization system by salt ( without the use of chlorine) and a large solarium.
It also offers spaces for children's games and a large park surrounding the property that creates a serenity oasis giving the possibility to go for a walk in the nature.
An ideal place for families holidays where they can find open and safe places for their children.
Holiday Prato Verde is situated in a peaceful oasis but in a few minutes you can reach some famous seaside resorts (Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore, Torre del Lago, Forte dei Marmi and Lerici).
You can also reach in a few minutes the city of Lucca where it's possible to observe Roman, Medieval and Renaissance testimonies.
Not too far there are cities of historical, cultural and tourist's interest (Pisa, Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Barga, Castelnuovo Garfagnana, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano).

After a lovely welcome with bruschetta italiana we were immediately feeling comfortable. The location in and around the apartment was great and we enjoyed using the nice pool, the two large and inviting sun terraces and the surroundings of the beautiful house. mara and her family were vey friendly. the house as such was very clean and pleasing, so it felt like home and there was nothing to worry about. we could use all of our time to relax and thoroughly enjoy the stay. the restaurant that is connected to the apartments was excellent. when staying at the apartment, it is necessary to have a car because the apartments are quite remote from towns like lucca, viareggio or pisa. we can only recommend staying there and are already considering going back there next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We enjoyed our 2 weeks. It was a warm welcome with an Antipasti Toskani. In the price everything was included (even a cot for our baby) and the property was clean. We would recommend it, maybe not for families with small children (1-2 years) because the garden could be a bit dangerous (small levels behind the house, swimming-pool), it would be better for older children. Nice cities are arround the locations (Lucca, Pisa, Firenze; Siena about 150 km).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

A highly recommandable appartement. We had two lovely weeks there. Three wonderful terraces, a well-sized pool, a very good equiped kitchen, very friendly hosts and an excellent restaurant with Tuskan specialities. Although located a little bit lonely on the top of a hill, surrounded by great nature (very very calm) it was only a stone's throw away from Lucca, Viareggio and the versilia coast. So a good starting base for sightseeing. Maybe not so attractive for holidays with small kids but perfect for a relaxing holiday. Important: You definitly need a car.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
