a beautiful, custom built, spacious, 3000 sq ft beach home in NW Lincoln City, Oregon. Just completed Sept 2007 this fabulous home has breathtaking views from wall-to-wall windows. You will literally be steps away from the beach, as our home is kitty-corner to NW 34TH BEACH ACCESS. BEACH access is flat and does not have any steps, wheel chair accessible.
This superior home is tastefully decorated to give you a comfortable and relaxing vacation experience as you enjoy the views of waves and surf from our amazing Oceanside window filled great room. Everything is completely brand new--from the furniture to the linens!!
You’ll never be at a loss for something to do at our home with so MANY EXTRAS including;

'DRIFT AWAY' will fit all your needs with 5 full-sized bedrooms, open Great room with adjoining NOOK room and dining (dining seats 14), fully equipped kitchen, four bathrooms, family recreation room (with big screen tv and surround sound), and two decks (one with gas BBQ grill and hot tub and one looking out on the ocean.)
***A starter supply of paper towels, napkins, dish soap, TP, kleenex, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soaps, Q-tips, laundry detergents, and a spice rack is provided. Also, all linens and towels.
Check-in time 4:00 p.m. and check-out time 11:00 a.m.
BEDROOMS:
*1-executive master suite with King Bed and a queen size futon. Master bath has jetted garden tub and separate walk-in shower with jetted body sprays and rainhead (even the shower has a window with the view of the waves)
*2ND Master suite with King bed and an amazing ocean view. Access to bathroom from the bedroom. Both master suites have access to balcony w/phenominal beach view!!
*3rd room has a luxurious queen bed and a twin size double bunk w/ big walk in closet and access to a full size bathroom.
*4th bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk bed (2 single beds.) Shares a hallway bathroom w/ one other bedroom.
*5th bedroom has a queen bed with one single bed. There is one full bathroom downstairs, (with tub/shower) off of the recreation room.
***All beds have Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses (even the twin bunks!)
KITCHEN:
with high-end appliances, big, french-door refrigerator, SLAB countertops and a bar that seats three), adjoining dining with HUGE table for seating up to 14, and a nook that seats up to 6, fully stocked with dishes, silverware, toaster, blender, coffee pot...& lots more!!
GREAT ROOM:
with fireplace, massage chair, plasma TV/DVD/, surround sound, built-in video library with over 80 dvd's and full ocean-front windows wall to wall.
MEDIA ROOM:
has a library with a huge sectional sofa which converts to an additional full size bed. There is also a BIG SCREEN TV/DVD, X-box, Playstation 2 and a theater like surround sound system. The recreation area also features a 100 game arcade machine. (NO coins required!!)
PARKING:
is available for 5 vehicles only! There is parking for 4 vehicles directly in front of house and one parking spot in the garage. No off-street parking is allowed at any time!
BEACH ACCESS:
is through the NW 34th Str access, which is located across the street and three houses north (approximately 150 feet.) Beach access is flat, wheel-chair accessible and has a few parking spots.
Super close..we truly are located in the perfect spot!!

Our family of 16, grandparents, kids and grandkids thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Drift Away". The house is awesome, lots of room, good beds, well equipped, pictures don't do it justice! The close proximity to the beach is great and it is not far to restaurants, stores, hiking, etc. The house is nicely equipped with most everything you need. We appreciate all of the thought put into providing for guests as we too are in the vacation rental business near Yellowstone Park. We had a great time! This house accommodated our family of 17 (4 couples, 8 kids/teens, 1 newborn) for a week with great ease. The kitchen was beautifully equipped for large-group cooking with huge pots and pans, lots of dishes, and plenty of big serving bowls. The living room was bigger than it looks in the pictures. A truly massive sectional couch effortlessly seated 6 or more adults at a time, with space for kids in its corners. When that room got too full, there was always the x-box in the downstairs family room, a favorite space for teenagers in the group. Other activities for the week included pinochle, beach-combing, running, barbecuing, hot-tubbing, and even a trip to the outlet mall one rainy morning. We had a wonderful week at your home. Thanks so much for opening it to this ocean-loving Idaho clan.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Our family plans a long holiday weekend every year the week before Christmas. A chance for us all to spend time together, play games, cook and enjoy the sights. This year we chose a beach destination and loved it! We all agree that Drift Away exceeded our expectations...this house is over the top! The pictures don't do it justice...Drift Away is amazing!! The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for more that one cook. The big sectional couch had plenty of seating for all and the massage chair was a bonus. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful with awesome views of the ocean. We especially loved the decor, trim and lighting....this is a custom build. All areas of the house are perfect and little touches of lotions and hand soap throughout the house were appreciated. I can't say enough about this place, we will definatley stay here again. Thank you for shipping my husbands electric razor :)Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

A group of 13 stayed at this house at the end of summer. It was a beautiful house with plenty of room for everyone. It was kept very clean and had a lot of amenities. The only problem we had was the first night when we got there the hot tub was dirty. We called the next day and it was taken care of within the hour, Fast Response! Great service :) Hope to come back again in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We were a group of 3 families including 7 kids under the age of 4. The place was perfect for us. Room for each family to have sleeping space and their own bathroom. Lovely kitchen. Short walk to the beach. Plenty of linens, towels etc. Master bedroom is huge. Our family of 4 stayed in there with no problem.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Our family stayed there last weekend and what a wonderful and lovely home, love the decorations, the house is super clean and layout of the house is excellent. We have 20 peolple stayed at the house and still feel spacious. The house is on a quiet street but yet very convenience, short walk to Starbucks, Safeway and Walgreens. Beach only a block away. We are defininitely going back next year.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house was a perfect fit for our large family group. There was enough room for us to all gather together in the big living room, with the giant sofa and coveted massage chair... and yet space for us to spread out on all three floors when we wanted to do our own thing. Proximity to the beach and shops was perfect. I'm not sure any other home will be able to live up to this one for our family trip next year!Did you find this review helpful? Our stay in "Drift-Away" was absolutely amazing. Each women who attended for the weekend left relaxed and ready to go back. We could go out on the deck and listen to the ocean. The hot tub was relaxing but what was a surprising highlight was the massage chair that we did not know was there. I would highly recommend this home as a getaway. You will enjoy every minute of your stay!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This home was absolutely perfect for my extended family visit. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is a beautiful house that was huge. The house was clean and very well maintained. My friends and I had an absolutely idyllic week at Drift Away. We had seen the pictures on the website, and I just have to say the pix--as pretty as they are--don't do this home justice. It is beautiful, restful, elegant, and really did feel like a home and not just a house. None of us wanted to leave--I had to nudge us all toward the door. We had a wonderful time. We especially appreciated how organized everything was--all the written instructions on how to operate stuff, the ease of finding what we needed, etc. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, everything was so nice and in working order, and the ocean views were incredible. If we end up in Lincoln City next year for our get together, this will be our first choice for places to stay. Thank you so very much for creating such a lovely haven--it was a week none of us will ever forget.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
