Located on a private edge of the Blue Course, this property was just beautifully upgraded with granite counters, new stainless appliances, sophisticated contemporary décor, and is fully equipped for your stay of one week to several months.
This single level property does NOT have any steps to or within it. The gorgeous beaches of Wailea, the ocean view from the lanai and the the extremely private garden area behind the main lanai's porch swing are all pictured here. The pool is ideally located less than a minute's walk away, but not in earshot.
The master bedroom has a king bed the second bedroom has two twins with a king conversion kit. A foam single fold-out futon cushion for a child is also in the unit. Both bedrooms have dedicated air conditioning units and new carpet.
Complex amenities include two serene pools. Three golf courses, 11 tennis courts and the fabulous Grand Wailea Spa are all within five minutes.
The exclusive Shops at Wailea (with fantastic dining choices as well) are just a short walk away (one block). The beach is directly beyond the shops. Enjoy the two mile long paved beachfront walk. Wailea is a very exclusive community, and this luxurious property is in a both peaceful and centrally located location.

We had a wonderful stay at this Wailea Ekolu 2 bedroom condo. The place was exactly like the pictures and there weren't any unpleasant surprises. We happened to go when the weather was nice and cool and whale watching was abundant! We could see them from the ocean view lanai (they were pretty far away, but you could see the dark objects and white spouting in the distance) and often ate outside to enjoy the gorgeous view (flowers, trees, ocean, even a chicken)! Our kids (and ourselves too) enjoyed the swinging bench and we liked that the 2nd bedroom could be kept fairly dark (for our little one's naptime). The location was very accessible to so many things (shops, restaurants, beach) and parking was super close and convenient! The pool was nearby and not crowded (whenever we went). It was also clean, and we were able to borrow the condo's pool noodle for our kiddo. The condo itself was very nice and modern (no cheesy hawaiian bedspreads and tacky decor) aodeesy gawdy Hawaiian theme). This had everything we were looking for and definitely met our expectations. We also read the manual cover to cover and understood the laundry request and didn't have a problem or issue with this (with kids it's easy to be constantly doing laundry so again, this wasn't a problem for us). Many thanks to the owners and we appreciated that they were also able to accommodate us for one additional day (our flight arrangements were booked incorrectly and had us returning a day earlier).Owner response: Garrison & Dayna, Thank you for the wonderful review! The location is great & the price is good. It's much more cost effective than staying at a nearby hotel. The condo has a much more updated decor than others I had seen on the internet. The kitchen, porch, & beach supplies are the best features of this condo! The kitchen is brand new & is beautiful to look at. All kitchen supplies were there. We grilled outside on the electric grill almost everyday for lunch. The swing in the porch was a plus. The view from the lanai is beautiful with all the greenery. The beach supplies included everything you could possibly need to go to the beach, including boogie boards, umbrella, chairs, kiddie beach toys, insulated basket, blow-up floaters, etc. It was nice to be on the first floor - easy in/easy out to the parking lot & nearby pool. t took us a while to figure out they had wireless internet. It says it in the listing but it isn't updated in the condo's book. Having wireless internet is huge, so we were VERY happy to have it. Wireless printer is nice, too. Julia, the owner, is very nice & readily available. Whenever I had a question, she was always happy to answer promptly. I had friends who also stayed in Ekolu, but in another unit. They said our condo was DEFINITELY better. The only things are that: - One of the cabinet doors was loose when we arrived & broke off the hinge after ~3 days. I called the housekeeper (the book says to call the housekeeper if any problems with the condo) but didn't really appreciate her mildly accusatory tone. It wasn't fixed during our stay, but I hadn't demanded that, either. I probably should have called Julia instead. - 2 AC units only, 1 in each bedroom. I wish there was 1 in the living room, but I imagine most of the condos in Wailea only have AC units in the BR. - Although the cost of the condo was good, I still felt like I was spending a significant amount of money....enough to think that normal usage of laundered items should be covered. The book kindly asks the guest to have all towels & bed sheets washed, except for the last night's linens...but it doesn't say anywhere that you would be fined if you didn't. It sounded more optional to me. I was asked nicely to pay $35, which came out of the deposit. It's a small amount but I would rather not have been bothered about this after returning home from a nice vacation. A suggestion would be to clearly state the fine in the listing & in the book. Overall, these things are minor. We absolutely enjoyed our stay!Owner response: Thanks for the review! We apologize about the cabinet door, not sure why it was broken as the kitchen is new. Thank you for calling and informing us. The wireless information along with other important information is emailed on final payment and I will check the condo binder to make sure the access code is there as well. Also, as far as laundry it is stated to wash what you use except for the last days towels and sheets. I will make sure to include that there will be a small fee if more is left. I thought it was clear as I never had to charge anyone in the 5 years we have owned the condo. Again thanks for understanding. I am happy you enjoyed the beach goodies and your stay :D
