We really enjoyed our weekend in Deb's condo - especially the hike to the top of Speckle Mountain and the hot tub at the end of the hike! Deb was great with local recommendations as well. This is a great spot for a low-key getaway.

It was everything we expected and then some. Very peaceful area and enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys several days. The view was spectacular; especially with the changing of the season. It was home away from home. Looking forward to renting the condo again next year. The owners were very helpful and easy to talk to. A super great getaway.

This was our first visit to Maine and second visit to the USA. Ideal location for touring the beautiful surrounding areas - the views, the colours and the landscape were absolutely outstanding. Deborah was most helpful in all sorts of ways, i.e. payments, directions and lots of info. regarding local attractions and amenities. The condo was situated in a very quiet, peaceful area - not too far to the local shop for fuel and food and even a restaurant!

We had a wonderful, relaxing week at this spotless, well stocked condo. We found alot of activities to do in the surrounding towns, but had peace and quiet at the condo. Perfect for us! My husband found alot of places to fish, but not enough time in a week to hit them all. The owner provided helpful information about local attractions and amenities complete with directions. We look forward to booking this condo again. We definately recommend this spot to anyone looking to get away.

GREAT rental condo near Kezar Lake

My wife and I stayed here during the last week of August, 2009. You probably won't find a nicer rental for the price in the area. Aside from the fact that this condo has three bedrooms (plus extra space for extra travelers if necessary), there is a full kitchen (even a breadmaker!), a dining area, living area, and for us, the one thing that sealed the deal- a four person hot tub on the rear deck. Also,you can tell that the owner takes pride in her condo as it was VERY clean and kept-up during our stay. She also provides a lot of the "little things" that other places charge extra for, or don't provide at all. If you're interested in Kezar lake, consider staying here, because there is a public boat launch area less than ten minutes away from the front door. We also noticed plenty of snowmobile trails for the winter time, too. Overall, a great place to stay while you're in Maine.

Just returned from a lovely weekend stay at this condo. We were a group of 6 adults and we found the unit to be plenty spacious and comfortable for all of us. The unit was very clean and fully equipped with everything one might require. The owner of the condo was very accommodating and easy to work with and the unit was just as she described. Overall, this was a great rental experience and I would certainly rent here again.

Although there is absolutely no cell phone service and the nearest store is atleast 15 minutes away it is well worth the experience. This is a perfect place to get away from life's worries. It was super clean, cozy, and comfortable. It had everything we needed except food of course. The owner was super helpful and attentive. I would absolutely recomend it to a friend; in fact, I plan on visiting again soon.

Hi Deb, Thanks for letting me know. We had a great time up there, and enjoyed ourselves very much. You have a lovely place! A bit farther from Sunday River than we're used to, but it more than made up for it with extra elbow room and creature comforts. Anyhow, very glad to hear we left the place in acceptable shape. First, I'd like to say how nice the home is. Plenty of space and well maintained for an escape up north. While sitting in the hot tub my girlfriend and I gazed at the spectacular display the stars shown above. By chance we turned toward the north and caught a shooting star. Ok, Deborah I don't suppose I ought to brag this to all your potential visitors ..... Stay long enough and I'm sure you'll spot something equally fancinating. I'd like to think if I had to reach D for any reason whatsoever that she would have resolved my questions quickly. She communicated well to my questions prior to scheduling my stay. I would choose this condo again and recommend it. roland

Hi Deb, Wanted to send you a Thank You! We had a great time despite the weather. We hiked Sabattus Mountain, hiked to the Weilhiem cottage, went to see the water falls on Willow Brook, Newry and Grafton Notch also spent some time at Evans Notch. One day we went to Deer Hill, and found some small pieces of amethyst. We also kayaked from the marina on Kezar to the Lovell town beach. The best hike was from right out of the condo. to Speckle Mountain, that was about 5 hour trip. Also went Antiquing. There is so... much to do. We had more planned but, we will have to plan another trip! Kathy & Phil and family Rhode Island

My husband and I booked last minute into this condo to get away from hectic daily life for a few pre-season days over memorial weekend and were lucky to find it! There are only about 10 condos on this peaceful site, tucked away in the trees so it was beautifully quiet with a v.short walk to the inn (good dvd collection) & stream through woodlands. The condos are old school, but this one was wonderfully clean, well looked after and had a charming, compact kitchen; well stocked, with good washer and dryer on site, we had everything we needed! If you have kids, there are grassy areas around for them to run off some energy as well as the games room at the inn. The inn does get busier in Summer so i'm sure it would be less quiet then, but I would still imagine it to be quite a peaceful sight. We had a perfect getaway kayaking (3 mile drive to the boat landing on kezar lake, 30mins to the crystal clear & sandy Saco river), hiking and a fun night at the outdoor movie theatre in Bridgton, followed by relaxation in the hot tub. The area is beautiful because of the white mountains backdrop- you can't see much of Kezar lake through the trees so getting on the water is optimal. Very nice short (1.5mile roundtrip) but steepish walk upto sabbatus mountain (15min drive center lovell) is well worth the walk for views of maine. The golf course at Kezar is open to the public- we didn't use it though. This condo is simple but spacious for a small family, very comfortable, peaceful and in a charming area. We'll be back thanks Deborah! (ps. not wheelchair accessible as there are 6orso steps up or down to enter living/sleeping places)

I loved the cabin. The area was quiet and peaceful. Exactly what I was wanting. I'm definitely coming back next winter and maybe this summer too. All the tips they gave me about the area were great also. I'm from Texas and this was my first time to Maine and I loved it.

Hi Deb Thank You so much for the rental. We loved our time in the condo, we were fortunate enough to see a moose and her baby, the hummingbirds and so much more. The hot tub was just the place for John and I to unwind when the kids had gone to bed. As promised the stars gave us a fabulous show including a shooting star one night! We hope to return to Maine sometime in the future and will be in touch.

Deb You have a really nice place, in a really nice setting. We went over to the Mt. Washington area. We went to Freeport. It was very relaxing in the hot tub. We miss it and have decided to buy one soon. You have a beautifull area. We do not get fresh seafood at home. Thanks for allowing us to stay in the condo.

Well Deb, Whenever I have the chance to visit a place that I have never been before, I feel that the people should know how well they enjoyed the area and how the place of lodging was. The mountains there were unbelievable. I see Cadillac Mountain every day, but seeing all the mountains through the trees from the deck from the hot tub and the stars at night, the moon was just what made the visit even better. We went into North Conway and did some shopping because we were there sooner than expected, that was nice too. I'd like to make the trip again some day. I also shovelled the deck off and spread some bird seed out off the deck and had some huge gray squirrels feeding and got some nice pictures. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again. Robert

What a lovely, relaxing, secluded stay in the mountains of Maine! Fabulous place with nice large kitchen for the cooks, and superb hot tub overlooking the woods and mountains in the distance and great for star watching at night. Very private and quiet - only 90 minutes on a nice, scenic drive from Portland; 45 minutes to great shopping in Conway, NH; 30 minutes to fabulous skiing at Sunday River; and 30 minutes to fun, fun snowmobiling! What can I say - just perfect!
