Everything was lovely
Everything was lovely
We loved it here! The home was clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed the welcome snacks, and especially the wine! Loved that bathrobes were included and jacuzzi towels (separate from the bath towels), the quality of the bath towels (better than home), the art work throughout the home was beautiful, and each room given the same attention! Also nice that a doggie basket included everything from bowls to bones. The home is in a great location for walking to the beach or walking to grab burgers and shakes. Only downside was there isn't a large open living space.

Summer at Tahoe
Summer at Tahoe
Extremely disappointed. Pictures say a thousand words. Not good! There is no beach all the other properties have a beach. Garage and carport, well you better bring your motorcycle as that is the only vehicle that will fit in ether one .AND parking across the street FORGET it. The beach goers get there and also all the other renters. Our son in law came up one night from Reno. It was late and he got parking and the neighbor hitt his car and the police came and the neighbor never responded There were witnesses. Basically a hit and run. Great neighborhood. The day we arrived none of the laundry was done. Towels, sheets and stuff everywhere The laundry machines are so old it takes about 140 mintes to dry. Property is very very dark toilets and bathtubs would back up Dining room was very dangerous chairs hanging on a ledge. Place is very tight not comfortable no place to sit . Extremely disappointed for the money we spent. Would never recommend. We did not have an enjoyable experience and we were there over 3- 1/2 weeks Also, lots of steps. Not user friendly. There are so many other gorgeous places in Lake Tahoe

Manager response: We are so sorry to see this review and hear about this experience, especially after our efforts to meet your requests both prior to and during your stay. Unfortunately, our housekeepers did forget to collect the extra linens/towels from the laundryroom (so sorry!) after they finished cleaning the rest of house. But all the beds were ready for you with clean linens, bathrooms had fresh towels and cozy bathrobes put out, and the soaps and additional supplies were fully stocked for your stay. While it was so kind of you to start to launder the extra linens, it was not necessary as our housekeepers did come back to collect them and apologize to you for any inconvenience. This is the first that we have heard of any plumbing issues during your stay or we would have addressed them immediately. We have had 7 other groups of guests stay at the house since your visit and no one has mentioned having any problems with the toilets or bathtubs so we are sorry that you did not have the same experience. As mentioned in our listing, this home is a two-story one so, yes, there are staircases to access the bedrooms on the upper floor. We also mention the limitations of the parking in our listing and yet we have had folks who were able to park their cars (much larger than what we suggest) in the garage without any problems. We hope the parking pass that we were able to provide to you (when we heard about your concerns) helped with your parking issues during your stay. And we are so very sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident with your son's car.....no one needs an experience like that while visiting and vacationing in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Last summer our extended family stayed at this property for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. The location and the specatcular view make it a destination spot for us in the future. The house easily accomodated all of us and made our stay very comfortable. In fact we liked the house so much, that 2 months later I reserved the house for a work related team building function. Again, everyone enjoyed the house, the location and the fact that it comfortably accomodated all of us. The view and location cannot be beat. The renter was very professional and helpful with our registration and requests. I have recommended this property to several family and professional contacts. Kings Beach is a short walk away as are grocery stores, cafes and shops.

We would stay here againGuest comment entered by manager
We would stay here again
Home was very clean and very well stocked. We would stay here again. Very close to skiing and food. Loved location on lake. Could have used more toilet paper. Plenty of kitchen utensils, blankets, etc.. Appreciated hottub being ready for use and beach towels. Enjoyed having laundry and dish detergent here already. Appreciated the welcome bottle of wine.
