Why the Owner Chose Moab

Moab has been our favorite vacation destination since we got married. We had been camping in Moab for years and we weren't planning to buy a condo the day we saw this one but one look was all it took. A friend had taken two apartments and turned them into beautiful condos with very high end finishes (hand plastered walls and marble countertops in Moab?). And the beautiful back yard was just a wonderful surprise. We have always loved to sit outdoors in the evening in Moab so we were thrilled to discover that we would have a place to do that comfortably with this condo. Being downtown cinched the deal and we bought this place on the spot.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Walking downtown for dinner is the best! Yet it's so quiet, there's no traffic or hotel noise in this neighborhood. Having the huge backyard makes us feel like we've got our own space, even though we're right in the middle of everything. We know you'll love it as much as we do!

Owner's Map of Moab

We are "50 somethings" from Boulder, Colorado. Marc runs an electronic parts store and Kel sells construction equipment for a manufacturer in Denver. We have been going to Moab for many years and we love it now more than ever!

TERRIFIC VACATION CONDO

Guest: Heidi(Central Coast, CA)
Date of Stay: 05/16/10 Review Submitted: 06/30/10

We stayed in the condo for 3 nights and what a nice change after 10 days of motels! Just like a real home---everything we needed. The location is perfect for walking downtown and close to all of the other Moab activities. The internet worked great, the kitchen is very well equipped and everything was spotless. We didn't use the outside BBQ area, because it was cold, but looks great. We spent our time hiking in Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse State Park. So much to do and see in the area --- we will have to come back & would love to stay in this condo again!

Great condo in town - Moab

Loved this condo. Its super well-organized, you'll have anything you need. Its very nicely decorated and really comfy. My husband and I spent a weekend here mountain biking and had a fabulous time. Its right in the center of all the restaurants, museum, grocery store etc. Very walkable. Good set-up with easy access. We had been thinking of staying in a hotel, but I'm really glad we didn't. We had tons more space and I think it was a lot fancier than any hotel in town. It was perfect. I'll definitely be back.

Awesome In-Town Stay

Guest: Snowish One(Draper, UT)
Date of Stay: 06/11/10 Review Submitted: 06/14/10

We had a great time at the off center condos. The court yard is shaded and awesome for enjoying the great weather. The condo is very comfortable, clean and well stocked with all of the necessities to feel at home when you are on vacation. Check out Eklectic Cafe for breakfast or the Ghost Bar for a nice cocktail. We ducked in there to avoid the rain one day. We also made great friends with the people staying at the other Off Center condo. They were a blast to hang out with. Staying at the Off Center Condos is great because you can leave your car and walk anywhere in town. Thanks Kel for sharing such a nice place. We will be staying with you again.

Really great place to stay in a wonderful location in Utah

Date of Stay: 04/10/10 Review Submitted: 05/04/10

My wife and I stayed at the condo for 11 nights in April 2010. It was definitely one of the very best vacation rentals at which we stayed over the last 30 years. Kel was really efficient and helpful throughout the renting process. The condo was everything we hoped for and more. It's just 1 block from the main drag in Moab - however it's really quiet and peaceful despite being within walking distance of so much. It has internet access which we didn't use as we hadn't brought our own laptop. However the excellent public library is on the same street with internet access. The condo is really comfortable with a really great bed and bathroom which we appreciated as we were hiking long distances every day and it was great to return to such comfort in the evening. The kitchen was about the best of any vacation rental we have ever been at. The living area was excellent also - we didn't watch the TV as we hadn't come all the way to Moab to vegetate in front of the TV! Parking was great and off-street and there was a lovely patio and barbecue area which again we didn't use. Moab was an excellent location to base a vacation in Southern Utah. It's a really nice and friendly little town with two very good supermarkets and a health food store, a wide variety of restaurants (Eclectic Cafe was really nice for breakfast!) and other shops and businesses. Apart from the wonderful attractions of Arches N.P. and Canyonlands N.P., we found loads of other places well worth hiking such as Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon, Goblin State Park, Fisher Towers, Negro Bill Canyon, Corona Arch, and many more very close to Moab. The Needles District of Canyonlands is about a 90 minute drive to the trailheads with some really great hikes to Chestler Park and to the Green/Colorado River Confluence in particular. The Horseshoe Canyon section of Canyonlands is about a 2h drive with the last 32 mile section on a sandy gravel road (our Toyota Corolla rental made it - just!). However, it was really worth it with a beautiful canyon and some spectacular Indian rock art. The Island in the Sky section of Canyonlands was also very close and really great to visit. Overall, we had a wonderful 11 night stay in Moab - we could easily have spent longer and found much more to do - more hiking, float trips, biking, chilling out at the condo, etc! However, we packed an awful lot into our time there. We would love to visit again in the future and stay at this wonderful condo.

My husband and I had a great stay at this condo over the Thanksgiving break. There was plenty of parking for our truck, trailer and jeep, while still leaving room for the guests downstairs to park. The condo was very clean, cozy and comfortable for our family. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had and seemed very happy to receive our business. They seemed to care about us being comfortable and enjoying our stay. The condo is walking distance from Center Street which allowed us to walk to all restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend that you stay here during your next visit to Moab!

My wife and I recently stayed at this condo for part of our 10 yr anniversary. We both loved staying at this condo. We could tell that the owners take pride in their condo. It was very homey and comfortable. And the location was great (walking distance to downtown restaurants). I'd also say that the place is even better than the photos

My husband and I recently enjoyed a week in the off center condo which was one of the nicest places we have stayed. The free internet access and printer were especially helpful as we planned our daily itinerary exploring the beautiful and unique environs of Moab. We were able to secure our bikes in the back yard which also provided a secure and relaxing place to unwind each day. The kitchen was one of the best equipped and the unit the cleanest we have encountered in our many years of using rental condos and time shares. The bed was very comfortable but a bit small for us as we are used to a king sized mattress. I have a "bum" knee and did not realize the condo was an upstairs unit, but we managed fine. Kel's info about the area was extremely useful and thoughtful. We would highly recommend this condo and look forward to a return visit soon!
