What a wonderful week with our kids at your condo! Lots of snow and a warm place to come back to every day. We forgot to bring a sled so you having one was a huge plus! The condo was really clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we needed. Loved that it was so close to Eagle Lodge and had underground parking, especially when the snow storm came in! We recently came here, from Sydney Australia, to stay at the Aspen Treehouse Condo, and want to say I have never experienced such fresh deep powder snow in my 10+ years of snowboarding in the southern hemisphere. 15 feet fell this week in Mammoth! Therefore, the ski-back trail was entirely buried and hard to find, but finally did. Certainly not an issue since the deep snow and great boarding made up. The novelty of which will take years to wear off. The condo was very clean and well miantained, and the fully stocked fireplace was great and kept the condo really warm and cosy. The fire starters made it really easy, THANKS! The location is superb, a 5 minute walk (at most) to the eagle lodge where bought our ski lessons tickets, food and rentals, and boarded the ski-lifts. Very convenient! The maintenance staff did a fantastic job of clearing snow from the stairwells to make access in and out of the building as trouble free as possible. The location to the shuttle stop to get into town was also fantastic as we we flew to Mammoth Airport and did not have a car. David was very attentive to our needs, We were a family of 5 with 3 young children, and would reccomend this condo highly. Thanks again Dave we had an awsome time! " - David B., 01/04/2011

There was no ski-back trail. It was a really hard walk with kids to and from the closest lift so we usually drove. The hot tub and saunas were out of order and there was no management available the whole time we were there. The unit itself is nice and well-equipped, clean.

Owner response:This report is very disheartening, since we've received nothing but great reviews on this unit. Aspen Creek certainly does have a ski-back trail, perhaps this guest was unable to find it during Dec 2010's heavy snow conditions. We do provide a map, but it is a simple right turn from Eagle Run, just before the Eagle Lodge building. As for the complex facilities and management, Aspen Creek is known in Mammoth as one of the towns most well run complexes, with 3 Hot Tubs and 3 Sauna's to choose from in 3 seperate buildings. Unless there was the odd wide-area power outage, this would not be the case. But outages could certainly happen anywhere. It is our policy to try to provide alternative resources during such emergency events, such as free passes to Snow Creek Spa. As for Aspen onsite management, we provide every guest with no less than 5 phone numbers including condo owners cell, rental managers cell, Cleaning, Maintenance, and onsite management. The Manager lives on the property and Aspen Creek is managed by one of Mammoths most reputable management firms, available 24/7. A simple call to any one of us is always welcome from our guests in the event of questions or any special needs.

The decoration was very nice and we enjoyed the south facing windows that provided great light in both the morning and the evening! Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for more. We all slept comfortably and the kids loved the little Bonus Room! Everything was perfectly clean and tighty. Great kitchen area and seating for 7 was perfect, especially for Valentine's dinner. Location is awesome and great sledding in the complex for the kids. We will definitely pre book quite a few 5 day trips for next year for that condo. Please fell free to use me for a reference anytime.

I appreciate your attention to detail and customer service in all aspects of our dealings together. We could tell that you are genuinely looking out for the best interests of your guests. The condo was perfect for our needs. It was the correct size for our whole family and well equipped, including bedding, blankets, TVs etc. The kids made themselves at home quickly and we were blessed with 4" of snow on our first day followed by two blue bird days so the skiing was fantastic. I travel to Mammoth a lot, and I have to say, this is one of the best places that i have stayed in. Feels like being at home. It's just a few steps to walk to the Eagle Lodge so you can get on the mountain right away, or sleep-in in the morning, then roll right out to the slopes. The ski-back trail leads right back to the complex! The unit has a great mud-room inside the front door, where we kept all of our wet gear! Fantastic!! This unit was great! Very clean and comfortable and the fireplace keeps the place toasty. The kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you need to cook a 4-course meal. This condo comes with a covered garage, which is extremely helpful in mountain weather. The best part is proximity to Eagle Lodge - it is SERIOUSLY close - just a short stroll to get to the lift.
