My four friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We were enchanted by it all: location, proximity to town, and of course, the beach -fantastic decor and attention to detail throughout the home . -ease of booking, arriving and departing instructions -rapid and effective communication with the owner, and of course with our friend Norman, the local manager. Couldn't Be Better

My husband and I along with my married children and 2 grandchildren had a week stay here. We would have reviewed earlier, but my wife had some health problems and we are just catching up to our correspondence. It is a lovely home, even better than what you see online. The owners, and the local manager, are wonderful to deal with. The unit was extremely clean, with lots of extras in the kitchen to use. We had a lovely time. This unit is also very close to Las Olas Blvd, which is wonderful for walking, shopping, eating, etc. So, it was easy to leave the car and walk to where we wanted to go. There were beach chairs and beach towels, as well as umbrellas. These, along with chaise lounges, can also be rented at the Ft Lauderdale beach. This was the first time for the grandkids ages 5 and 3 to experience the beach and the first "whole" family vacation. It was a good time had by all. Thank you. We will certainly recommend your home to our family and friends. Justin

Norman Thanks for all your help and thank you for a great vacation. Our reunion with Tom’s college friend and his family was great, in large part because your home (this home you manage) is so wonderful. We had lots of space, we love the open, airy downstairs, the barbecue and patio…really, we cannot think of anything we didn’t like. Thanks to the owners and you, we will be back, and we will recommend your home to family and friends looking for a South Florida vacation.

Great time at the town home. Norman was very helpful. The home feels lived-in if that makes any sense to anyone other than myself. Everything we could think of was in the house. Proximity to Fort Lauderdale beach and night life is within a 5 minute or less drive. We will enjoy returning to this home again in the future if it's still available. Reginald

Good Morning, As promised, this is a quick note to thank you for a wonderful vacation. Your home is as advertised, and more. The photos do not do it justice. My wife has now suggested we re-paint our home in those beautiful colors. And the kitchen was great for our group breakfast and dinners. We had read some of the reviews and want to add some suggestions: don’t miss a tour of the Everglades. What a beautiful natural habitat! We now know why people come from around the world to see this wonder. Take the short drive to South Beach for lunch or dinner. Go on an off time: after morning rush hour or before evening rush hour. The drive is easy, and although we would choose to vacation (and live) in Ft Lauderdale, we enjoyed seeing the ‘scene’ in South Beach. Also, we like beautiful old hotels. One day we went north to Palm Beach and had lunch at the Breakers Hotel, and really enjoyed that. Your previous guests/reviewers have covered so many areas; there doesn’t seem to be much we can add. We will definitely be back. Thanks. Andy

Our Third Great Vacation

This is our 3rd annual visit to this wonderful home. We began in 2009, had to miss 2010, and made it down in 2011 and 2012. Why do we return? We love working with the owner (who we have not met), and we love working with Norman (who is the local manager and we have spoken with and met many times). We love this home: just the ice cream colored walls are great to look at. It is beautifully furnished, and yes, the kitchen is very well equipped. There are three floors, the bedrooms are big, and the beds are bigger, and very comfortable. There are three wonderful full baths (and a powder room on the 1st floor). The decks off the suite on the 3rd floor are beautifully planted, and they are magically watered every day, with a water system (these people have thought of everything). The sheets are professionally cleaned and pressed. There is a laundry room with an over-sized washer and dryer (maybe even commercial size), which is great with a large group. They leave the basics to get you started (soap, paper towels, etc) and there are basic spices etc in the food cupboard. The garage has 2 parking spaces, with auto garage door openers. There is a great patio off the living area where we would sit in the evening, enjoy the barbecue (and that is also planted and watered magically). This home is close to Las Olas Blvd, and close to the beach. Las Olas Blvd has wonderful restaurants and shopping, and the beach is so long and beautiful: we would go every day for a few hours. There is not a pool. We do not want a pool, we don’t like pools (and, according to the owners, they don’t either). We love the beach, and not having the pool gets us out and to the beach. If you are looking for a big, beautiful, spotless home in Ft Lauderdale, and this home is great for groups (we are brother/sister with spouses, 3 children between us, and our parents), look no further. Where can you go and pay this price for 4 big beautiful bedrooms and all this home has to offer? Thank you Norman and we will be back.

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at this fantastic house and we are looking forward to more. My only regret is that it took me too long to post this review. My wife and I and two other couples and one single enjoyed all the amenities and the house could not have been set up more perfectly than if we designed it. It affords great communal living (like an upscale suite for adults) but everyone can retreat to their own luxurious space. The decor and appointments leave no doubt that you are in a really nice place. I remembered from last year how bright the house was. So during this year's stay I took pictures of the walls so that I could paint some of my own rooms in the same shades. Talk about capturing the ambiance! My family room is done and my wife is asking when the bedroom will be finished (make that started). We are a group of people who play a lot of tennis, love the beach and love eating out all on a budget. We could not ask for a more perfect and affordable location. We especially appreciate the no hassle, "everything is taken care of" relationship with the owner and his able manager (Norman). Lots of times group vacations can get testy as people can't agree on the smallest of things. Such is not the case at this property. Everyone agreed that our stays here could not be equaled. So if you are vacationing with a picky group of families or friends, I would recommend you stay at this house. If they find something to complain about then you know it is them and not you.

That it is beautifully decorated? The beds were comfortable and as advertised; the kitchen was better equipped than mine in Atlanta! How much we enjoyed having a drink on the patio and barbecuing right there? You see, there is not much to add. Girls Reunion

My friends and I, who have not seen each other in years, were planning a trip to Fort Lauderdale. We used to spring break there in college. Our friend found your beautiful home online; we liked the pictures online, so we booked it for a week for a group of now grown up friends. When we arrived it was more beautiful and spacious than we had anticipated. The house has a great ambiance. We spent much of our time hanging out there and reminiscing about our college days. The house was perfect for us. We loved the big kitchen, large rooms and the patio. We loved the location as well; close to everything. We availed ourselves of the great shopping and restaurants and it was a nice walk to the beach. We finally visited the Everglades National Park: fantastic. The week made us all feel like girls again. Norman and Harry: Thank you so much for the use of your lovely home. We enjoyed our family vacation there immensely. Your home is so light and airy. And our group enjoyed those terrific king-sized beds. We enjoyed the kitchen so much, we barely ate out on this trip. The beach parking was as you said: easy and inexpensive. We love tennis, so being close to the Jimmy Evert center was especially nice for my wife and me. The location was great and allowed our children to wander around on their own. We also loved the fact that we could bring the family dog. My wife enjoyed the decor so much, she now wants to redecorate our home. Thanks for that! Love this house!!

My wife and I and two other couples rented this fantastic house for our yearly trip to Florida. We usually head for the Gulf Coast but decided to try the other side for a change. Could not have been happier with our decision. This comfortable pad is right in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale. Very close to some exceptional shopping and of course the beach. Never a dull moment. The townhouse was beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. My wife and I had the master suite. Sweet! The kitchen had everything we could want and more. There is a gas grille in the backyard which we took full advantage of. We will certainly be back again and next time we may bring another couple with their kids. We could all stay very comfortably in this palatial place.

Norman: We got caught up with life and kids returning to school so it took me a while to get to this but just have to rave about our Fourth of July two week long stay in this super comfortable home (and it is a home). We had a family gathering in Ft. Lauderdale and with eight adults and four (youngish) kids. We were able to stay in this house together, very comfortably. It really made for some fun cookouts and big family breakfasts. Our days were filled with trips to the beach, shopping in the district and tennis down the street, at the beautiful public courts. Wonderful Home!!!

Just had to post a review for this wonderful home. This was absolutely the best vacation we have had. No better place to spend a vacation than in Ft Lauderdale. Our whole family was able to stay together comfortably with all of the comforts of home. The home was beautiful and set up to handle a large family. It was warm the entire stay so we spent lots of time soaking up the sun at the beach. There are so many things happening in Ft Lauderdale year round that you can't miss. Played golf and we played tennis at the beautiful tennis center 5 minutes away. Nothing is very far from this location. Had our run each morning along the beach and think we found paradise. So glad we planned this trip way in advance. I agree with all of the other reviews.

Great townhouse

We were eight women who came to Fort Lauderdale to play golf and tennis. The house lived up to all the great reviews. The beds in all the rooms were all sooo comfortable and luxurious. The location of the house was great - so close to Las Olas and also to the world class tennis courts at Holiday Park's Jimmy Evert Tennis Center. Thanks for a great travel experience.

Marvelous Home, Exceeded Expectations

Great Experience from day one. We are 4 couples who have previously used vrbo for our tennis vacations. This time it was my turn to find a home so I did my homework and found this home that showed really well on the vrbo site. The rental price seemed like a good value but the deciding factor to rent was based on the number of positive reviews from previous renters. Making the reservation was simple and the Harry (owner) responded to e-mails within 24 hours. At other locations we had signed rental agreements but when I asked Harry, he said that it wasn't needed. I thought that odd, but now that we are here it is just one more example of a hassle free experience. Norman (the local manager) met us at the time of our choosing and gave us a tour of the house. He was very pleasant and the tour was helpful. So here we sit at the dining room table on the last full day of our week's stay and our only regret is that we have to leave this beautiful home. The location is perfect for playing tennis at the Jimmy Evert tennis center, for driving to the beach and for eating at great restaurants. The house is so attractive and comfortable that we would occasionally stay in rather than go out. Big compliments to whoever decorated the home. Everything was well appointed and the upgrades added to the impression that we were at a resort. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable and the four balcony/patio were enjoyed by daily. The place was immaculate and well equipped. Among the niceties were the elevator, the bicycle, the gas grill, garage parking for 2 cars and another outdoor parking space. So we all agreed that this house was a great find and would be our #1 pick whenever we visit the Fort Lauderdale area again.

As promised, I am finally sending you a thank you for making our vacation so great. From our first contact with you about availability, to check out, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your home. Norman was enormously helpful with orienting us: he even offered to bring us to the grocery store when we arrived, which was far beyond what we ever expected. Your home shows beautifully in pictures, it is even more beautiful in reality. Youhave done a wonderful job decorating your home. We were a family of 9 people: 5 adults and 4 children. Because there was so much space, and 4 bedrooms, we always felt like we had a place to go to 'get away from it all'. It was a joy to cook in our well equipped kitchen, and we barbecued many evenings. Your close proximity to Las Olas Blvd, and its wonderful shops and restaurants, was super, and the easy and quick ride to the beach, and easy parking, were another bonus. I could go on and on. So Relaxed

We loved our vacation in your home. Our extended family of in-laws plus children felt so at home and because your home is so large, we never felt that we were on top of each other. This is the most calm and relaxed I have been on a vacation in a long time, probably because we had so much space. Everyone complimented the accommodations - wonder of wonders with 4 children and 5 seniors in tow. The house is very beautiful; you have done a wonderful job decorating. We looked at your calendar for the spring; we are thinking of having an ‘adult/no children’ vacation. And by the way, the beach towels and chairs in the garage are a nice touch.

A Wonderful Time

Our family had a great time in this home. We'll certainly come again. Having this much space is good with a large group. The house is spotless and fresh, convenient to the shopping and restaurants on Las Olas Blvd. nearby and the beach in Ft Lauderdale is terrific (and parking is inexpensive and easy). The 4 bedrooms are fresh and clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. And the kitchen worked well for the 9 of us. Thanks again- we will be booking again for next year. Thank you. So Relaxing...

My wife Linda posted a recent review; I think she had too many margaritas! We agree (and my parents agree) that this home is a 5/5 stars. We have rented homes in the USA and Europe; this is at the top of the list. Also, the Jacuzzi is in one of the master baths; Linda may have confused some readers. The terraces are wonderful for reading, relaxing, and either early morning or late afternoon sun. Enjoy! By the way, they have a blender at their home; enjoy the margaritas there also.

Perfect in so many ways.

My husband and three children, and my in-laws, recently enjoyed a fantastic 10-day vacation in this beautiful home. Cooking is a family affair for us, so we were delighted over the large, fully stocked cooks kitchen and the open floor plan. The bathrooms were each immaculate and and the bedrooms were fresh as Spring. On the days that Jeff dialed into work, (he said the Internet was fast) the kids and I walked to the beach (a bit of a walk, but very pleasant) or went shopping together on Los Olas Boulevard. Then Jeff would relax before supper preparations in a chaise lounge on the 3rd floor terrace (which is beautifully landscaped) in the Jacuzzi. I would highly recommend this home rental to any of my friends. Its cleanliness, convenience and size are just perfect! We have rented many times in Ft Lauderdale - visiting family 2 or 3 times a year, but are hard-pressed to remember experiencing such kind, courteous responsiveness. You made it easy to rent your home, and we felt like we were being welcomed into somebody's private home as guests - only we had the place to ourselves. The house itself is fantastic and our experience there matched our expectations; the pictures and rave reviews online are true - clean, convenient and modern. Having this gem of a home available to us makes our family visits so much more comfortable vs a hotel, or small, claustrophobic home. We always look forward to returning

Choosing to rent a home from abroad is not easy; thank you for making it as easy as you did. We made the right decision. Your home was perfect for our family vacation. You were correct about the large, oversized washer-dryer; that came in extremely handy for our large group, and made our packing and traveling from the U.K. that much simpler. It isn’t easy to find a rental home as well taken care of as your own. Our teenage children enjoyed the big spacious bedroom on the 2nd floor (and we enjoyed having them away from us!). Your numerous flat screen TVs and DVD players were a big hit. And we enjoyed gathering in the first floor open area to cook, chat, catch up, and generally enjoy each other’s company. We will be back. It isn’t easy to add to the great reviews you have from previous tenants (the reason we inquired in the 1st place: could all those people be wrong)? We so enjoyed our stay that we intend to choose a date shortly for next yr., and book in advance. We enjoyed the area’s golf courses, the beach, but most of all the wonderful ambiance of your home. And yes, we agree: your home is spotless clean, which is important to us. We cannot think of a thing we could add that would make your home more desirable. And Norman was always available to answer any question(s) we had, which is nice. We look forward to seeing you again.

We recently enjoyed a 10 day stay at this beautiful home, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious home for a large family or group. My in-laws, my sister and her husband, my husband and I and three children vacationed here, and we can only say good things. This home is very well furnished, extremely clean, and we liked the space that it afforded all of us. When we wanted to be together, we were on the 1st floor, in an open plan, with kitchen, dining, and living room combined. We have rented homes in other resorts; this home is at the top of our list.

Norman: thank you for making our vacation so wonderful. From the 1st dealings with Harry vis-à-vis the rental, to our last day, we were so happy that we chose your home for our first vacation to Ft. Lauderdale. You were correct about the beautiful beaches, the great restaurants on Las Olas Blvd, and, of course, your home is wonderful. We four couples try to get away at least once every 2 years. Your home was perfect for enjoying each other’s company, having our privacy, being able to barbecue, and just in general enjoy time together. We intend to recommend your home to any friend looking for a family or group vacation. Thank you.

This was a great spacious house that is perfect if your looking to go on a vacation with your and friends. The house is well kept, HUGE, comfortable, close proxmity to the beaches and restaurants on Los Olas Blvd. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it without hesitation. The house is located in a beautiful community with friendly neighbors who kindly offer suggestions on where to go and what to do. I hope you enjoy your time out there as much I did.

We could not have thought of a better place to stay. The property is located walking distance to the main BLVD in fort lauderdale, Las Olas, it is also a bike ride to the beach and 20 mins from the airport. Our room was gigantic with an en-suite bathroom that had a 2 person jacuzzi, stand up shower, his and hers sinks and a huge walking closet. Oh and did I mention our own balcony! Our main hang out was in the large kitchen on the first floor, we grilled in the backyard and chilled in the living room. The place was immaculate, comfortable and spacious with its own laundry room. It is really your home away from home. Thank you

I stayed here with a few friends and family for a week vacation and it was perfect. The townhome was extremely clean, modern and very comfortable. We all had plenty of space. The home looks 100 times better in person than it does in the pictures. We were able to walk to the shops and restaurants and were close to the beach. Cooking in the massive kitchen was great. The kitchen was fully equipped and all the appliances are new. Norman gave us some great recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Strongly recommend.

I rented this gorgeous property with several of my girlfriends for a wedding and we had a great time. In addition to the immaculate decor, the area of the house is wonderful for recreation. We spent many great afternoons shopping on Las Olas and at the beach. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked for family dinners- we cooked several meals for 10 people and had a blast. I would definitely rent this property again, we had a fabulous time!

We recently stayed in this beautiful home for 12 days. We most enjoyed the large and roomy kitchen for group cooking. It is very well equipped. We have been coming to Ft. Lauderdale for many years, and this is the best home we have ever rented. The beds are extremely comfortable. My wife, and my parents, are very particular about their sleeping, and they loved their beds. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean, roomy, and have showers plus one has a Jacuzzi tub. We could easily walk to Las Olas Blvd where there are beautiful shops and restaurants. The owner and the local manager have removed their car so we had 2 garage parking spaces with 2 automatic garage door openers. This made parking very easy for us. There is an elevator (I mention this because my parents slept in the 3rd floor master bedroom suite, and they used this). Off the bedroom there are terraces with chaise loungers which we really enjoyed. At night it is very quiet, which we like, and we were near the beach (about a 5 minute car ride). Last but certainly not least: the local manager, Norman, is extremely helpful. He helped us with restaurant recommendations, beach parking, and orientation in this home. Believe me, we have rented homes in Europe, and in California, and this is equal to, if not the best home, we have ever rented. The pictures do not do it justice, and it is difficult to put into words how helpful the owner and the manager can be. We would not hesitate to return to this home. Thanks Harry and Norman!

We saw this rental on the VRBO site, and were very impressed with the comments from others, as well as the pictures. We liked being near the airport (very nice airport, for those of you who have not flown into Ft. Lauderdale). But what we liked most of all was the roominess of the home. There are 4 bedrooms, all with king beds, and 3 full bathrooms. The home is very clean. We had a beautiful coffeemaker (maybe Cuisinart) and always had breakfast in the house. We ate out all but one night, when we used the grille for barbecue. We would definitely take this place again. The owner was easy to deal with, and the manager was very helpful. Recommended highly.

Look no further! Over Thanksgiving, my husband and I, along with 7 family members thoroughly enjoyed this home. The kitchen is very ‘family oriented’, with lots of space for communal cooking (and it is extremely well equipped; we are very particular about cookware, etc.). We prepared a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner here for the family. It was nice to prepare and cook as a group. There are 3 outdoor spaces. We used the beautifully landscaped patio off the downstairs living area in the evening. We made great use of the upstairs terraces for morning coffee and late afternoon sun. This home is located in a quiet residential area. Because we are from a large city, we particularly enjoyed the quiet. In 10 minutes we could walk to Las Olas Blvd, which is the Ft. Lauderdale version of Madison Ave or Rodeo Drive. There are wonderful restaurants and shops for 10-12 blocks. When we had dinner there, we would poke around the lovely shops, get an ice cream, and just enjoy. Norman lives locally and manages the property for the owners (also New Yorkers). He met us at the home, oriented us, and let us know that he was available at any time if we had questions about the home, or Ft. Lauderdale. He made some great restaurant recommendations (try Galanga in Wilton Manors: very upscale Thai food, and reasonably priced). All in all, we couldn’t recommend this home more highly. This is a wonderful home: clean, beautifully decorated, and the manager, Norman, and the owner are both very accommodating.

Oh my goodness!! The photos truly do NOT do this place justice. My family rented this home during the boat show weekend and it was PERFECT for us. Everyone had their own bedroom and the beds are extremely comfortable. We didn't want to go home! This home is decorated beautifully and was pretty well stocked with everything we needed to make a huge breakfast one morning and have a BBQ one night.A beautiful home with a fantastic location.The highlight of our visit was the day trip on the Water Taxi,the homes and the yachts were just breathtaking. We hope to visit again next year if we do you will be sure to see us again..... Barbra and Gene

Wow!!! Norm, we really had a great time, and staying in your home had a lot to do with that. As you know, a group of 9 family members, for 10 days, is not easy to coordinate. Because there was so much space for all of us, the kids had their television and DVD rooms and the adults had our patio and cocktail areas. We loved cooking in your kitchen: great cookware, plenty of dishes, and all nice stuff to boot. Like you, we prefer the beach to a pool, so every day we packed up and enjoyed a few hours there. As you said, the parking was very easy, and cheap. We did take a day to tour the Everglades, and of course the ladies (including the younger ladies) had to check out the Galleria Mall. There were wonderful sales and the variety of shops was good for our group. As you can tell, we had a wonderful time. We will certainly tell our friends about your home, and for sure, we will be back. Thanks for all your help and suggestions, too.

Only a few minutes from the most beautiful beach in South Florida (for us) , it was an ideal location, and it truly was one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. Having a wonderful house goes a long way when traveling with children. Add on to that a very accommodating and helpful owner and you get spoiled and do not want to leave. That was our experience staying at this property. Our extended family (my husband and me, our children and their grandparents) couldn’t have chosen a better home. The layout of the house allows for plenty of privacy when desired. The 1st floor open kitchen/dining/living room was great for ‘family bonding’. Wonderful Accommodations

We have stayed at many vacation rentals, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, etc.; this was, without question, the best accommodations we have ever had. The location is very good, a short walk to Los Olas Boulevard, the shopping arcade of Fort Lauderdale, and, for the more energetic, a longer but still doable, walk to the beach. It is very quite, with a wonderful night view of the downtown Fort Lauderdale. The town house was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality appliances that actually worked and premium china and stemware. One of the guests, upon returning home, immediately ordered a place setting of the china. Initially some of the folks thought the decorating scheme was somewhat “over the top”, but these are Midwestern folks, used to “dull, drab, and boring” (guest quote). They became converts to the Miami style, appreciating the “lively and exciting” painting style. My wife and I chose the top floor master bedroom; there is a second master, with a whirlpool tub, on the second floor. It was a good choice. At night, we could open the doors at either end of the room, turn off the A/C, and have a cool breeze all night. There is much to recommend about sleeping in the tropics. And regarding sleeping; the beds, without exception, were amazingly comfortable. We actually stripped the bedding to find the name of the manufacture. The elevator proved to be of great value. We had a guest that had difficulty walking and the working elevator was of great value to her, and me when I moved the luggage. But the best part of the vacation was the great assistance we received from Norman and Harry. They were amazingly accommodating; there assistance and advice was greatly appreciated. The only minor problem was the internet connection sometimes did not work. Recommended without hesitation or reservation. John

We spent Dec 18th until Jan 5th in the town home at Victoria Park. The place was spotless, comfortable, the location was excellent and the description was 100% accurate. Norman, the manager of the property, was very helpful in even finding a crib for my 1 year old. That part of Fort Lauderdale is very nice and is close to he beach and close to Las Olas. Just two issues that were not substantial, did present themselves: 1. the elevator was damaged - it would have been helpful to log bags back and forth to all the rooms - but this was an ammenity that did not deter us to enjoy the town home. 2. parkin was sometimes complicated because of the users of he B&B next door who really did a number on the parking - specially between the 24th and New Year's. Other than that, if you are looking for a quiet relaxing place, this is a sure bet - if it would come with a pool, my brother and I would have thought of buying it.
