Awesome! I take my extended family on vacation every year and this year was a huge hit! Everyone was happy. Casa Vista los Arcos was fun for the kids and relaxing for those of us who work too hard. The heated pool, breakfast served outside every morning and the views were incredible. The house is just outside of town in an area where everything is less commercialized. If you like authentic, this is the place to be. Plus all the activities are nearby. We really like the zip lines. I highly recommend this house, its staff and its owner who was very attentive and accommodating.

Great clean house, spectacular views, great accommodating staff. Fidel made excellent breakfasts, margs, guacamole and pico de gallo. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. So enjoyed the pool and being away from it all. Would recommend a car and have to be able to climb stairs.
Owner response:I want to thank our guest for the comments. It always is rassuring and helpful. I want to clarify, however, that I used to also think that a car was needed. The last two trips I did not get a car. I took the bus and the taxi at night. It was very convenient and much cheaper than a car. I will add, though, that if you want to go sightseeing around the area like the botanical gardens and zip lines etc. a car is nice to have.

Lovely home with a very friendly/helpful staff. PV was only 20 minutes away and Mismaloya is charming.

The owner donated a week to our anual auction. I am CFO for an agency that provides HIV prevention and treatment services. It was our largest donation ever and I also know that the owner has been very generous to not only our organizations but many in The Chicagoland Area. I was the winning bidder at another charitiy's auction. I took my sisters, their children and my partner on the vacation of a lifetime that we will all remember. This property is even better in-person than the photos even depict. I have never been to such a tranquil place in my life. I highly recommend this property, it's staff and it's generous owner.

I had always wanted to take my family (as adults) on a vacation and this was perfect. Casa Vista Los Arcos is all the advertising said it was - - and much more. It is truly a beautiful villa - -and is beautifully maintained, too. The staff (Fidel and Roberto) were exceptionally accomodating to all of us. And, it doesn't hurt that Fidel is an excellent cook. They did everything they could to make our stay a very pleasant one. The town of Puerto Vallarta is great to visit, but having the villa 15 minutes from town was great, too. We got to enjoy the excitement of the touristy stuff and also got to relax, enjoy the pool ands beautiful views all in the privacy of our own home for a week. We went horseback riding, zip lining and visited lots of restaurants - - all within an easy drive from the villa. I definetly recommend having a car. The owners provide free internet access and a US phone line - - very useful! This was a wonderful and memorable vacation for all of us.

This house is gorgeous - perfect! And what a view! Miguel and Veronica took excellent care of us - delicious breakfasts, margaritas and chips/salsa when we arrived, made reservations/recommendations for us, kept the house spotless. And all rooms were private and yet connected - perfect for our extended family. Besides the house, I loved: Canopy tour, Le Kliff restaurant, Riverside Cafe, and shopping!

Awesome House with a great location. The maid Veronica & the Houseman Miguel really made things work. Miguel fixes things up and will book all of your activities, Veronica fixes superb breakfasts and cleans up. The pool was great, the outdoor kitchen with grill was wonderful for fixing steaks. Lots of little eateries close by with good authentic and inexpensive food. Puerto Vallarta proper is an easy drive or cab ride away. You can go with no particular agenda. Miguel will get you fixed up with stuff to do. He is very enthusiastic about this and has lots of connections. Probably not great for the elderly or a lot of little kids. There are lots of stairs which aren't great for the old or infirmed. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th bedrooms are removed from the master which would be tough for little kids. Service was wonderful and needs were immediately and enthusiastically attended too. I highly recommend this property.

My Husband and I and our three children, ages 4 to 13, stayed at this house over spring break. The house has a fantastic view from everywhere and all four of the bedroom suites are first class. My children loved the pool and there was plenty of room for them to run around. It was only minutes to town. The breakfasts every morning were delightful and delicious, we all enjoyed them and we are picky eaters. The welcome margaritas were just what we needed when we arrived. I would recommend this house to any family looking for a great vacation value.

This was my families first vacation together at a villa. Previously we had always stayed at resorts, mostly all-inclusive. After staying at Casa Vista Losa Arcos, we will never go back to a resort. The villa was amazing-- especially the view. It was private, sunny, relaxing and the staff was extremely professional-- they were around when we needed them and invisible when we didn't. The hosekeeper, Vernoica, was also an exceptional cook and it was great having breakfast waiting for us every morning. My entire family agreed that we felt part of the ultra-wealthy for a week and we spent about half of what we would have spent at a resort.
Owner response:This guest touched on something that I think is very important that I want to reiterate: Compared to staying at a resort, villa life is much better, in my opinion. We made the switch as vacationers years ago and now I am an owner. I don't think there is any better testimony to how comfortable and enjoyable a stay with family and friends can be at your own villa vs with crowds of people at a resort.

My friends and family have chosen to stay in private villas around the world for years versus resorts or hotels. Upon arriving at Casa Vista Los Arcos, we couldn't have been more pleased with the genuine beauty of the villa and the lush surrondings-- we picked banannas and avocados ourselves! The villa has one of the best views of the ocean that I have seen in all of Puerto Vallarta. It is not so far up the mountain though that you cannot take a liesurely walk down the road to the main highway (about 1/4 of a mile) to get a bus or taxi into Puerto Vallarta. The staff was also very pleasant and accomodating. This is a perfect place to rest during the day and party at night. We chose to rent a car to visit some of the surrounding areas and I would suggest that. If you want to go further up the coast, there are some fantastic restaurants and jungle activities but one needs a car to do that.

Myself and several friends stayed in this wonderful villa over Thankgiving. I want to start by saying one thing, "Wow what a view!" The villa is surrounded by lush vegetation and is very private and quiet. With that said though it is very near the beach(es), closest to Mismaloya Beach, and several others which run up and down the coast. It is also close to town, close enough that we went every night to party-- it was only a $12 cab ride to town so 1/2 the time we didn't drive the car. I would recommend a car though if you want to go to the botanical gardens or sight seeing around the coast. Make sure to try the canopy tours-- they were amazing and just around the corner from the house. The staff was extremely nice and accomodating too and breakfast was fantastic-- it's great to get up lounge around and have someone cook your breakfast, serve it on the veranda and then go about your day. Great Villa-- I highly recommend it!
Owner response:I also agree-- try the canopy tour!
