Enjoy your vacation in our island paradise -a spacious, clean and loely beachfront home located in the center of one of the world's best beaches. With 76 feet of private beach frontage and plenty of space, Kalaka is the perfect spot to enjoy the charm and aloha of Hawaii with your family or closest friends. The home was remodeled in 2001 and is fully furnished with everything to help you live, relax, and entertain in style.
The home has spectacular views of the Kailua Bay, the Mokolua Islands and the Koolau Mountains and is a home for those who truly love the beach. Nearer to the ocean than many other nearby houses, the Pacific Ocean can be seen or heard throughout the home. Many of the homes in this neighborhood are advertised beachfront but actually are down the road and through a trail to the ocean. Here you can start your morning with fresh ocean breezes and a sunrise over blue tropical waters. Whether your idea of fun is action packed ocean sports or mellower pursuits, Kailua Beach truly has something for everyone. Steps outside your door enjoy a lazy stroll on the sparkling white sand beach, a swim in the ocean, challenging water sports, or simply lounging on your own deck beneath coconut palms with a cool drink watching the it all.
Cooking your own fresh dinner is easy on the gas grill or in the fully-equipped kitchen. Alternatively, visit one of the many nearby bistros or take out restaurants for anything from quick bite or to a gourmet feast. As the sun sinks beneath the emerald mountaintops, enjoy one of the extraordinary moonrises for which Kailua is justly famous.
A gated driveway leads to your own private sanctuary nestled on around one-quarter acre. The home is spaciously laid out under one roof and can be rented as four or six bedrooms. A separate but completely integrated adjoining portion of the house contains two extra bedrooms, a full bath, and additional living area to insure the confort of larger groups. The two bedroom portion is not available to be rented separately and remains vacant when not needed.
The house is clean and fully furnished. Free high speed internet is available. The full kitchen has everything needed and a selection of beach toys mats and boogie boards are available. Every bedroom has new vinyl windows with 100% ventilation to let in the fresh air and ceiling fans for the few times breezes are light.
Kailua itself is a lovely town with shopping, art galleries and grocery stores all within a small area. Yet the quiet town is located only a short drive through a mountain tunnel to the night life and action of Waikiki. The unique combination of natural beauty, the nearby amenities, a variety of world-class sporting activities and the pace and "aloha" of nearby Kailua town make renting this home much more practical and affordable than an expensive resort hotel - and much more personal and enjoyable!

The Unique Benefits at this Private Home
You will be right in the very middle of world famous Kailua Beach. The ideal location - away from the crowds but close to everything! And the deck, well, it has to be seen to be believed. The only one like it - the best spot in Kailua!!!!

My wife hails from Oahu and has always loved Kailua Beach. My first visit convinced me the place was paradise. We have three girls 7,6 and 4, and she we wanted to share the beauty and aloha of Hawaii with them on a regular basis. When we happened upon this lovely home we knew it was perfect means to introduce them to the real Hawaii. We now live in Chicago, but return often and the home is the perfect gathering spot for the entire clan. When friends borrowed the property for a stay, we derived so much pleasure from hearing of their adventures we decided to rent the home to others when not in use by us or the family in Oahu. We hope you can visit and create memories to last a lifetime!
