Private, quiet, beautiful setting for watching sunsets and relaxing but close enough for easy day trips to historic Bath, Freeport, Portland and Booth Bay Harbor to do more.
Close to Reid State Park, quaint Five Islands Harbor and town wharf where you can enjoy Maine lobster. There is swimming and boating on the Back River (canoe provided, private association. launch nearby), fishing and wildlife viewing (eagles, ospreys, even moose sightings!), kayak rentals at General Store 2 miles away, hiking, restaurants (including the 4 star Meeting House restaurant), art galleries, coastal/riverboat excursions, and antiquing nearby. Georgetown Island abounds with natural beauty throughout all seasons.
