About the owner: Occupations: attorney and clinical social worker. We have 3 grown children We love the ocean, nature, good food, family and friends.
Why the Owner Chose Georgetown:
We chose this location because of the easy access by plane to Portland and then a 50 minute drive. Once you turn down Beaver Valley road you feel you are immersed in privacy and nature...a true Maine experience. We have family reunions here most years and have been enjoying the area for over 20 years.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We have enjoyed mid-coast Maine ever since our elder daughter graduated from Bowdoin college. We vacation at our house regularly and hope you will enjoy it as much as we and our children and grandchildren do. We love boating and swimming in the Back River just outside our house and riding the ocean waves at uncrowded Reid state park 5 miles away. We also enjoy hiking, visiting farmers markets and art galleries, and exploring the best kept secret town of Bath with it's lovely old homes built by former ship captains and good restaurants. Our house is a true refuge and great place to unwind. Enjoy, Joyce and John, Washington, DC
