  Bonnie's condo was great. Not too big, not too small. Just like goldilocks, it was *just* right for our family of four (except we didn't break anything, I swear). All the reviews were helpful for me, so even though I *never* write reviews, I just had to do one about Bonnie. Bonnie is great. She's kind and honest and fast and responds to questions. We had a problem with the Internet one night and her husband was our helpful technical support and got us working. Wonderful place, nice owners, great location. All the things the other reviews say about the condo are true so I won't repeat them. Thank you Bonnie.

  Even with rain storms sweeping through, we had a great family get together here. We still managed many long beach walks, fine dining, and quality family time. There was a spectacular lightning show over the gulf one night and we had front row seats. Another night we noticed some bioluminescence in our footsteps near Eastern Lake. Very cool. Also read a lot (thanks for the reading selection, some decent novels there). Something new we tried this time was attending a performance at the Seaside REP theater. I highly recommend it. They were really very good actors with a hilarious script. Also, highly recommend Goatfeathers seafood market. Excellent crab cakes. The unit (Ramsgate) was beautiful, warm, cozy, and comfortable. Better than advertised. Lots of homey touches. Really comfortable beds. I was surprised at how well stocked it was. Better than my house, that's for sure. Thanks for a wonderful time. I only gave it 4 stars because it rained too much. Sorry, I know that's not the owner's fault. Everything else was fantastic.

  Owner response: John, thank you for the review. My husband says weather at the beach is like pizza ... even when it's bad it's still pretty good. P.S. Aside from reading on rainy days, hubby likes to kayak (if he's going to get wet anyway, why not). Sometimes we shop at the outlet malls. Mostly I sit under the umbrella and enjoy the beauty of it all. Often storms bring out the surfers and they're fun too.

  We just returned from our 2nd visit to this lovely townhome and we can't wait to go back again. Bonnie is great to work with and responds quickly to any questions you might have. She has lovingly furnished this beach home with everything you could possibly want or need. When we travel to Florida we want to stay right on the beach and this home does not disappoint. You simply walk through the sliding glass door onto the deck and you can enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of the beach. A few more steps down the stairs off the deck and you are on the beach - you can't get any closer than that. We love this place!

  My husband, 2 daughters & I were lucky enough to get to stay two weeks at Ramsgate this Summer! We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived, as Bonnie had thoughtfully left a pail & shovel filled with snacks for my girls! So many things I loved!! The unit itself is beautiful and has every amenity you could wish for! The master bed & sheets are the absolute BEST!! My girls loved their room with their own TV & the fun ship reading lights in the bunk beds. The cherry on top is the amazing deck!! We've never been this close to the beach before & now we're spoiled! Being able to sit on the deck at night with a glass of wine & actually be able to see & call out to our children was a huge peace of mind for my husband & I! Having a covered parking space along with space for our four bikes that we brought was also so nice! We rode our bikes almost everyday to dinner or ice cream, which is just one of the special memories we made during our stay at Ramsgate! We'll be back!!

  Excellent place to stay! The condo was immaculate and the location was centered between Panama City and Destin. We will definitely go back and try to stay here again.

  For our family of four (kids ages 8 and 2), this property had everything we needed to make for a great week in Seagrove. We did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen is extremely well stocked and beautiful to cook in. It's clear Bonnie has been doing this a while and you'll want for nothing during your stay - she's thought of it all. The pools were great and very high end, most of the time only a few others were using them. They're a short walk from the house and a real nice break from a long day at the beach or the lake outfall, which the kids loved also when the waves were too big. We also did some kayaking on Eastern lake and recommend that too. Beach service included with the rental was the cherry on top. We'll be back.

  Owner response: I'm so glad you enjoyed the kitchen. That was a new renovation and aside from being nicer for meal prep, we really like how it opened the whole first floor. I'm an architect specializing in renovations (mostly for other people) so it's kind of fun that I get to play with Ramsgate periodically. For repeat visitors I like to surprise them with new changes.

  We stayed at Ramsgate in April 2011 and LOVED it! This was our first family trip to Florida's panhandle. The location is amazing and the condo is perfect. The owners have thought of everything to make it a convenient and comfortable stay. Our daughters loved having their own room and so did we. The master has an outstanding view of the ocean/beach and the waves would put you fast to sleep. It was so fun to have a huge porch and great table with umbrella to have lunch, dinner on. We saw dolphins everyday. Each day we would watch the sunset and at night you could sit on the porch and watch people with flashlights go crab hunting. We thought the location was great. We actually liked that it's in Seagrove, vs. Seaside. The beach wasn't crowded at all and it was a quick drive or bike ride to get to Seaside, Watercolor, Alys or Rosemary. We would definitely stay here again!

Another neat thing is, occasionally there are some glow-in-the-dark/bioluminescent algae around there. Usually they're very slight, but one time there was enough around the shore near the Eastern Lake outlet that, when you disturbed the wet sand with your feet, you could see it glow for a second.

  We stayed at Ramsgate over Easter Break 2011. It was absolutely wonderful as Bonnie has managed to insure everything you could possibly want or need is available in the condo. The condo was very clean. The kitchen (which had just been updated I believe) was fantastic with plenty of room and had everything a cook could need. The beds were comfortable and my kids loved the bunk beds with "ship" sconces on each level for reading. The deck was lovely and the only condo in Ramsgate with a great umbrella for shade. The pools were very nice and well maintained which is a nice option when the beach is too windy. It didn't hurt that the weather was perfect...but regardless...it was the best rental we have chosen in the Santa Rosa/Destin/Sea Grove area to which we travel each year.

  Owner response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the kitchen. I love how it turned out. You mentioned the pool being nice for windy days -- it's also nice for kids when the surf is too rough. Another place that's great when the surf is up is the Eastern Lake outlet. The outlet changes with the weather and tides so it's always different. Sometimes it's closed. Other times the channel is so deep and sharp it's like a sand canyon. FUN!

  If you are a father, or husband, that has to get the beach site "ready" before the family comes down for the day, this is the place for you! Beautiful views wherever you look, great deck, great rooms, great umbrella, great everything! I can't say it enough, you are on the sand and that makes all the diffrence when you have little ones, old ones, or just two middle aged ones that like having a private bathroom and cold ice just a few steps away! No fighting for space on the beach, nice and quiet at night and a short ride to Seaside shopping and dining, it truely has it all. We will be back year after year.

  We have stayed at Ramsgate twice so far and found it to be the perfect for our family. Step off the deck onto the beach, incredible views, beautiful water, two pools and close to dining and entertainment(if you choose to leave the house). All ammenities are provided, just bring swim suits, towels and smiles. We will be celebrating our 20th anniversary this summer and are planning to return to ramsgate for the week.
