  Thank you, Ernie and Virginia, for making our vacation on Grand Cayman such a perfect experience. The condo was immaculate and had more than everything we needed for our one week stay. We can't wait to recommend this property to all our family and friends, and of course to return soon. Our favorite fun place was Rum Point and the Waverunner tour. Our favorite restaurants were the Calypso Grill and Papagallo. We also visited the Botanical Gardens, National Museum, and Motor Museum among other points of interest. The Caymanians are such nice friendly people, and it's so easy to get around. We can't wait to go back!

  Had the most fabulous 8 days of rest, relaxation and adventure. The condo was perfect. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The view of the ocean from the balcony was wonderful. The design of the complex is great in the way that all the balcony's provide privacy as there is no direct line of sight to other balcony's when you're relaxing on your own. A car is a must for the North Shore, but I would have wanted one anywhere for the freedom of driving around the Island. There is so much diversity between the areas and so much to see. This condo was the perfect home base for all our travels... the longest drive anywhere was about 35 minutes. A few highlights are: Only 10 minutes to Rum Point where we caught the catamaran out to Stingray City - totally awesome! Only 10 minutes to Morritts where I set out for my breathtaking scuba adventures. Only 5 minutes to Mastic trail - local floral and fauna hike Only 10 minutes to Lighthouse restaurant - Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Only 15 minutes to Tukka's - Great food (Native fusion), service and scenery as well. Only 2 minutes to Over The Edge - great breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar options - went more than once :) Right from the time we booked the condo, Ernie, the owner, was quick to answer any questions we had and provided a lot of very useful information... his support made everything flow so smoothly. This is the first time I have booked with VRBO and because of this amazing experience, I would never book any other way in the future. Thank you Ernie for providing the environment for an absolutely unforgettable vacation!

  The property is in a quiet and beautiful area of the island yet still easily accessible to restaurants and grocery stores. Pictures cannot convey the incredible beauty of the location. The condo building and grounds are immaculately kept. All the amenities of home were provided to include a 42" LCD TV and WiFi. The beach was perfect- do not forget to wear swim shoes if you are adventurous in exploring the coral areas otherwise you may meet a sea urchin like I did. The pool water was crystal clear and the water was warm. We loved it so much, we are already planning our next trip back. The owner provided a lot of material on things to do and places to see. We especially enjoyed the hike through the center of the island (Mastic Trail) with the trailhead within a mile of the condo (best to wear running shoes or hiking boots to do it). Within a few days on the island, we felt like it was home.

  large well appointed condo with beautiful ocean views.Complex is well maintained and has a very nice pool and BBQ area. located on quiet side of the island, but close to rum point, a nice place to do beach activities or just relax. on the edge restaurant nearby, as is kaibo restaurant and restaurants in rum point, all are good. Ferry available at rum point to Georgetown(across the bay) but a car rental is a necessity to get around the island. Nice to visit bustling areas of the island and then come back to some peace and quiet. Wonderful!

  This was our first time traveling to the Cayman islands and thanks to the owners of our condo at Old man Bay, our visit was great! Ernie and Virginia were so helpful with any questions we had and even checked in on us when tropical Storm Ernesto came through. The condo itself is very nice and doesn't scream "Beach House" , because the color and decor of the interior are tastefully done. We had a wonderful time traveling throughout the island during the day, but were always happy to drive back to the quiet North side of the island. The amazing scenery and friendly local folks made this one of our most memorable vacations ever!

  Let me start off by saying this was our eighth visit to Grand Cayman and this condo is AMAZING. You definitely get a lot for your money. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. The condo is very clean, cozy and spacious. The owners are super helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The community was a deserted ghost town which was nice as you felt the place was all yours. The location is great because it is at the end of the highway (a two way road that you do not hear from the condo) which leads to the other side of the island making the commute to the west side not that long (20 minutes or so). The community is also well kept, the pool was clean, BBQ's is good condition but bring charcoal and lounge chairs were in good condition on the beach. Although we did not bring our children, the lagoon would be perfect for small children. TV and satellite worked great although you are in Grand Cayman, live a little! ? Close by: The Reef Bar ~ Great food, great service. Over the Edge ~ Decent food, good service. Rum Point (10 minutes away) Fun place to hang out during the day. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo for people of all ages.

  Beautiful condo (better than the pictures) in a small, private complex on a very quiet part of the island. Ernie and Virgina were wonderful to work with and went the extra mile to make our first trip to the island very memorable. The only negative was the shore was very rocky except for the man-made beach at lagoon and we went had go to Rum Point when we wanted to just hang out on the the beach. Sturdy footware is a must to protect against the sea urchins in the rocks when entering/exiting the water while snorkeling.

  If you are looking for a spacious condo in a quieter part of the island then look no further. It is well maintained, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. It is extremely spacious and the photos don't really do it justice. Location: The condo is part of a small complex consisting of 12 condos with a beautiful shared pool right next to its own private beach and swimming lagoon.Because it is a small complex, the pool and beach were quiet most of the time. It is situated on the quieter part of the island away from the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach where you feel like you are on a Caribbean island rather than in Florida. It is about 10 minutes away from Rum Point and the Kaibo, 45 mins to Seven Mile Beach and 35 mins from the airport. You definitely need a hire car. Eating Out: Despite being in a quiet location there are several great places to eat nearby which are also reasonably priced and serve delicious food. Rum Point and the Kaibo (15 mins drive away) both have beach bars serving burgers,wraps, local fish etc; Over The Edge(our favourite restaurant) is 5 mins drive away serving lots of fresh fish, jerk chicken/pork and rice and beans on a verandha overlooking the sea; Tukka is 15 mins drive away serving a 'fusion' of Australian and caribbean food. Supemarkets: The closest supermarket (Fosters) is in the East End which is about 15 mins drive away but it is fairly small although it has a reasonable selection. There is a larger Fosters in Savannah which is about 25 mins drive away which has a much better selection and further afield still there are some even larger supermarkets. Overall: If you want to be close to the hustle and bustle of Seven Mile Beach with its numerous (expensive!) restaurants, bars and shops then this is NOT the place for you. If you want to stay in a gorgeous condo in a quieter and less developed part of the island where you really can get away from it all but still be relatively close to some excellent places to eat/visit then book this condo now!

  We are three-generation party of divers, snorkelers and swimmers. We were so comfortable in this condo, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Had to work a little while we were there, and found the WiFi works great! We snorkeled a bit in front of the condo, and found a vibrant, little marine community right out front. Having been to Bonaire several times, we found the diving to be easy and spectacular on the island!!! Although we did most of our diving near Georgetown, later found out that the East End has some of the best diving in the world, and will be returning to explore those sites. If you are going for the full Cayman experience and want a tranquil stay, this area is the place to be. This is a gorgeous, well-equipped unit with thoughtful, concerned owners who called us during our stay and were genuinely interested to hear our adventures and make sure we were having a good time. On the Bay is a quiet, family-friendly complex with all the amenities of home, and none of the crowds, even when the cruise ships are in port. The Foster's express recommended by Ernie and Virginia is well-stocked, and there is a Dunkin' Donuts and excellent gift shop next door to it. We enjoyed every minute there.
