Location: Wintergreen, Virginia, USA (35 minutes from Charlottesville & Thomas Jefferson's Home)

We purchased our home at Wintergreen to create a family get-away that our children, grandchildren, and friends could enjoy. We wanted a place to gather as a family and to create memories for our children, a place where we could escape from our hectic work, school, and sports schedules to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Our condominium is a perfect family get-away or perfect for two or three couples. The view from the living room, dining room, kitchen, and downstairs bedroom is fantastic. We look out over the Highlands Ski Slope and the Blue Ridge Mountains. The advanced skiers in your party can start their day with a run down the advanced Highlands Trail. For beginning skiers the shuttle picks up in front of the condominium every 15 minutes for the short ride to the beginner and intermediate slope access.

Our condominium is in a great location. It is a quick walk to the Wintergarden Spa and indoor pool, the Nature Center, and golf on Devils Knob. The Highlands Leisure Trail goes right by the unit. The trail provides a very scenic quarter mile walk to the Mountain Inn and other resort amenities. We recommend viewing the sunrise from the overlook part way down the trail.

This is a year-round get-away with skiing, tubing, golf, and hiking in the winter and golf, hiking, tennis, horseback riding, biking, swimming, and the Out of Bounds Park the other three seasons.

The condominium has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two fireplaces. The first floor consists of the kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms each with queen-size beds, and two bathrooms. Downstairs is a large bedroom with a fireplace, two twin beds, a bathroom, and a sliding glass door out to the ground level. The views from this bedroom are wonderful. This is a great room for the children to enjoy a fire, some games, and a movie while the adults relax in the living area upstairs.

Our unit is managed by Blue Ridge Getaways. The unit is professionally cleaned before and after your arrival. There are onsite maintenance services should you have any difficulties during your stay.

Please call or e-mail us with any questions regarding our unit or the resort. We like to help our renters by telling them about all of our favorite spots and activities at the resort. Our unit comes complete with guest passes that provide discounts on resort activities and complimentary access to Lake Monican and outdoor pools.
