  The listing description of this property was very accurate. I think the unit is actually nicer than the photos depict. The property was clean and full of unexpected ammenities like the beach equipment ect. The pool areas in the complex could use some updating. Beautiful views from this property and great beaches close by. I would stay here again.

  We recently stayed at this condo and felt at home immediately. Our ten year old twins loved staying in the loft bedroom and we loved having the space! The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need to make meals at home. Nice to have beach chairs, a cooler, boogie boards etc. to make our trips to different beaches a great experience. I would suggest that a beach umbrella would be a great addition to the beach supplies as the Hawaiian sun is hot!!! The a/c in the living room died a noisy death upon our first night in the condo, but has apparently been replaced already. The proximity to the resort was great for walks along the beach and the restaurants for nights out without having to worry about driving after a glass or two of wine. I just don`t understand how a previous reviewer was able to use the pools at the resort as that is forbidden. We used the pools at the condo a couple of times - they are small, but all that you need. One issue is that the water was so warm in the pools - hardly refreshing! Overall, I would say that this condo is a great value. We loved the North Shore and could hardly wait to get back to it after venturing to Waikiki beach one day for a catamaran cruise.

  We had a great Hawaiian vacation. We have been to Ohua 4 or 5 times over the years, but this was the first time we had stayed in the North Shore area. It’s much more peaceful and relaxing then the Waikiki area. The condo was clean, open and bright, with plenty of room for the three of us. Our pre-teen daughter really enjoyed having the loft (with its own bathroom) to herself. Marti made making the arrangements easy and seamless. Would we stay there again, or recommend it to a friend? Absolutely yes. Ron & Sharon Hall

  The condo we rented was very nice! Clean and Fresh. The property manager was a great communicator. She made check in and check out a breeze. Every thing was available to make us feel at home. Furnishing were in great condition, fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs and other beach sport items. The resort is fabulous! Pool, water slide, poolside bar, snack areas, surf lessons, gift shops. We chose to have dinner one night in the Surf Lounge located in the resort lobby. Great food & Drinks, large windows overlooking the famed North Shore surfing beach. I would definitely recommend renting this unit. Kim

  We just completed our stay on 3/16/13. WONDEFUL experience. Everything you need and want in lodging at a very reasonable price. This condo is located on the golf course of the Turtle Bay resort. The unit was very clean and the property is very accessible. We spent one evening at the Turtle Bay Resort by the pool. Wonderful pool bar overlooking the great beach and surfers. If you plan to stay on Oahu and don't want the congestion of the big city, look at North Shore! This property is a GREAT Value. Hope you can experience this someday!!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+.

  This condo is located in an area adjacent to the Turtle Bay Resort. The grounds in this area are very well maintained as well as secure(gated with security personnel). This unit is also very well maintained and located right on the golf course. It is a short walk up to the resort and within 10 minutes of famous surfing beaches. The property agent Marti is very responsive to any needs should problems arise or any activity recomendations be required. The unit could handle 4 to 5 people.

  We stayed at this property for 11 days and other than missing our dogs, it really felt like home. This unit is equipped with everything you need, even snorkeling gear! The view of the greens is spectacular if you can appreciate the manicured course. Turtle Bay Resort and beach is a short walk away. Marti was very responsive and accommodating ensuring we have a wonderful experience during our stay. We loved the North Shore away from the busy city like atmosphere of Honolulu. The drive to the big city though was ok at times but you could get stuck in traffic depending on the time of day/week. We found that most organized activities originate around the resorts in Honolulu, but this was only a minor inconvenience. I wouldn't have traded the serenity and calm about this location (North Shore - Turtle Bay) for the convenience of proximity to these activities to Waikiki. I'm so happy and fortunate to have found this property for our vacation! The advertising is absolutely accurate and MORE! I would definitely consider staying here (same unit) again.

  I would like to start with the fact that our travel group agrees with many of the reviews about this condo. It was indeed clean, uncluttered, well situated and nicely stocked with just about everything you could need. The photos are incredibly accurate and the grounds are gorgeous! What places this very nice vacation rental above any other is the people attached to it. We had no worries prepping for our trip, questions were answered quickly, suggestions & maps were provided and confirmations of payment were prompt. We got on our flight with the sense that our place all ready and waiting for us, it's a nice way to kick off vacation. We were greeted by chocolates and very clean accommodations as well as a guide book for local offerings and details about the condo if we had additional questions. And off to the sunshine we went, with nary a worry to be had. And when a worry did present itself (in the form of a tsunami evacuation mid-stay) Marti gave us advance warning & advice, as did the on-island residents in the surrounding condos. I can not stress enough how wonderful it is to pick up a phone in foreign surroundings and have management actually answer as well as be calm, courteous and caring. After our vacation returned to calmer waters, we ran into one last little hick-up in regards to the washing machine. An unforeseen issue in a relatively new appliance, but a problem as nearly every item I owned was wet & soapy in it when it failed to drain or spin. Marti not only did her best to arrange for it's timely repair but she had someone take my clothes to their home and launder them within the day. That is what I will remember most about Turtle Bay, the sense that you were a guest at a friend's place, almost a local (well, except for the ability to pronounce anything Hawaiian correctly) and that really set it apart from staying in the resort itself. All of the convenience & access to the North Shore with none of the overwhelming crowded bustle that comes with hotel stays. Thanks again Marti!

  We rented 2 condos during our recent stay. One from Marti, unfortunately the other wasn't. However, it did give us the opportunity to compare units. The condo from Marti was exceptionally clean and had a homey atmosphere (awesome decor, books, movies, restaurant/area guides, and a nice box of chocolates upon arrival). The condo from Marti also had things that I normally take forgranted because everything was so much like being at home in this condo. Ceiling fans throughout the unit, towel bars and fans in the bathrooms. The other unit was missing all of these things. The condo from Marti had absolutely no clutter. I probably wouldn't have even noticed this except for the fact our other unit was just the opposite. Underneath the bathroom sink, many of the kitchen cabinets, kitchen drawers and pantry were full of junk, cans of paint, chemicals, etc. If you had little kids along, not childproof at all. On the other hand, the unit from Marti would have been completely child-proof had we brought any kids along. Finally, the towels and bed linens in Marti's unit were freshly washed and a very nice quality as were the dishes and cooking utensils. Marti's until also had paper plates for our use, which was VERY nice! The other unit, the sheets were bare and the towels were had chlorine stains; and, I had to wash the dishes before I could use them. If you want a exceptionally clean condo, homey atmosphere, uncluttered and safe for the whole family, a place you can walk into and immediately feel at home, book with Marti. Thank you Marti!!!!!
