Clean, cozy and would go again! Our family had a great time. The teenagers and the toddler had plenty to do. They loved the outdoor pool, tennis courts and the playground. The weather was to nice to take advantage of the indoor pool! Great location. We were pleasantly surprised Thanks!!!!!!

Superbe site au coeur des «White Mountains»

Guest: Marie-Andree
Date of Stay: 09/03/11 Review Submitted: 09/06/11

Stayed here last September with my mom, sisters, and cousin and we loved it! We used it as our base for a weekend of shopping in North Conway. Definitely going to stay here again! The check in and check out process was quick, the owner was very helpful and prompt with emails and the condo was very clean and well-maintained.

Happy Memories With Friends

Guest: Cindy Sue (Maine)
Date of Stay: 11/01/10 Review Submitted: 11/20/10

I've stayed here many times; it is comfortable and the shower feels GREAT! I have happy memories of very early mornings sitting by the living room sliders (in cold weather) or on the balcony (in warm weather) with coffee or cocoa, watching the colors of the sunrise creep across the face of the mountain. Though especially exciting in autumn, this is a beautiful sight all year. It's fun in winter to watch skiiers fly down the slopes while I sit cozy and warm inside. A freind and I once went to the hospitality building and got showshoes (free; it's one of the amenities, limited suppy) and snowshoed the long paths in the woods behind the condo. The woods were quiet and so beautiful. I walked there with another friend one autumn, just stunning. The Saco River runs behind the condo as well, and it's fun in summer to walk barefoot in the clear rushing shallow water, and there are unusual rocks to be found. I've had "girls getaways" with my friends and we have always enjoyed this condo. Typically, there are five or six of us, and although the condo is "cozy" in the kitchen and living room, we have always made ourselves comfortable and have enjoyed simple but delicious meals made in the kitchenette. The propane fireplace is a lovely homey touch, and it can be run with our without heat. The bedrooms are comfortable. We often "hang out" in one of them at night in our pj's, to chat until the wee hours. My friends say they love the place, and ask me every spring if we're "going to the condo again this year." My answer is always "YES!"

Great for hiking, skiing and family enjoyment

Guest: Sandy (Durham, NH)
Date of Stay: 11/10/10 Review Submitted: 11/20/10

My wife and I took our two teenager children for four days at this condo. The condo was clean and nicely appointed. This is an exceptional value with two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a television in the master bedroom and another in the living room, microwave and resort amenities such as indoor pool and sauna. For us, this location is perfect for access to hiking trails in the White Mountains and offers great hiking with a mere 10 minute drive. In addition, the condo was clean and had all the ingredients to make for a successful 4 days in the mountains. The living room's gas stove is a nice touch and offered great warmth and charm in the evenings after a full day of hiking the trails. The kitchen is in fact "cozy", however, perfectly fine for making dinners for the family. The resort staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had to replace one light bulb in the kitch and the resort staff arrived within 5 minutes with a new bulb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo and will hopefully be able to stay there again. I would absolutely recommend it and there was plenty of closet space, extra blankets and pillows to make our stay comfortable.

Perfect location for young family

Guest: Patty (Haverhill, MA)
Date of Stay: 09/26/10 Review Submitted: 10/03/10

We just stayed here last weekend and overall, it was a great place. It was cozy, as described by the owner, but for the price of a hotel room, we were able to have 2 bedrooms for ourselves and our two boys, plus room to spread out in the living area. Having the indoor pool and game room was perfect for rainy weather and while we didn't get to the restaurant, it's definitely a great alternative to eating out. The kitchenette is small, but enough for preparing breakfast and keeping drinks cold. It's right across from the mountain, so it's perfect for a winter getaway, which we might consider this year. Overall, a great location, great amenities and a comfortable stay.

GREAT Location

Date of Stay: 05/29/10 Review Submitted: 06/03/10

This place is perfect for a small family looking to get away. The place is "cozy" as described but it sure beats a single hotel room! There is plenty of room for a family of 3 or 4 (since there are 2 bedrooms) and even a guest or two since the sofa pulls out into a bed. Kitchen is efficiency-style - part of the main room - good for making coffee, breakfast or fixing a snack. Who wants to cook while on vacation anyway! Close to the Hospitality Building (indoor pool, outdoor jacuzzi, game room, restaurant/bar). Certainly one of the best views in the entire complex. Close to the underpass walkway to cross the road which is an added bonus.

Disappointed

Guest: madalex (USA)
Date of Stay: 02/08/09 Review Submitted: 02/12/09

I would not recommend this for a family, it is too small and even though the kitchen states fully applianced it is tiny and no bench room and when cooking for a family it was difficult. We felt the property was not clean. The floors felt dirty, not vacummed and tied properly, the drawers were fill of crap so limited the storage. The furniture was old and dated and the coffee table and the dining table broken. I felt that this property was over priced, and yes while being across the road from the chair lifts, it is not one of the busiest mountains so driving and finding parking not an issue as good amenities there. The photo makes the place look a lot bigger than it is as the strategic placement of photo's is discerning. The owner to deal with was great, and while not all his fault as this is managed like a timeshare I would be hesitant if a family is considering this.

Owner response:I am surprised that "madalex" would write such a negative review. First, as to overpricing, she called me numerous times during the booking process insisting I reduce the rate again and again (which I obliged) because "comparably priced" properties had this amenity or that amenity and I should lower the price because my property didn't have it. The final price she paid was more than fair. Secondly, in the eight years I have rented the property, no one has ever had complained about cleanliness, lack of storage (I am assuming "the drawers full of crap" refers to the three drawer TV stand which contains the utensils, some board games and various replacement light bulbs and small tools for making minor repairs etc.) pricing or photos. Finally, I stress in the advertisement that the condo is "cozy" to alert the reader that it is a smaller unit. In fact I specifically mention "two smaller upstairs bedrooms". The photos are certainly not meant to be deceptive and I am sorry that "madalex" felt they were..(she is the first to have ever complained about this). It is unfortunate that "madalex" did not have the courtesy to call me personally to discuss their opinions and disappointment

Well maintained property

Guest: Nhu (Watertown, MA)
Date of Stay: 01/23/09 Review Submitted: 01/26/09

This location of this place is phenomenal for any ski trip to the White Mountains area in NH. First off, it's across the street from Attitash. If you wanted to check out other mountains, you have half a dozen of places you could drive to (i.e., Bretton Woods, Wildcat, Cranmore, etc.). The property itself was clean and well maintained. If you prefer to cook then the kitchen area might be a bit cramped but due to the location, you have lots of options for take-out or dine-in restaurants.

Great location, but a little too small for us

Guest: Dennis D (Glastonbury, CT, USA)
Date of Stay: 07/13/08 Review Submitted: 07/22/08

If we didn't have two small children and a need to frequently use a kitchen, we would have rated this property higher. It was in an ideal location, plenty of sleeping room, good price, and the booking process was professional and simple. Unfortunately for us, the kitchen is a bit cramped so cooking and washing dishes and baby bottles was a bit inconvenient. If you don't plan to spend much time in the kitchen, then I'd recommend this place.
