Fabulous cottage for a stylish yet cozy getaway!

We had the most fantastic long winter weekend while staying at Seclusion & Convenience cottage...our family, friends and lab all had an absolutely wonderful time. We cooked some great meals in the adorable, very well-stocked kitchen, ate at the long dining table with enough chairs for everyone, had cozy fires in the fireplace, had happy hour every evening in the very well maintained, easy to use outdoor hot tub (with plenty of room for 4) and came home so rested from the comfy beds and beautifully supplied bedding, pillows & throws. Everything about this cottage was just as it's described, actually, even better! I'm a very picky traveler (just ask my husband) and I absolutely LOVED everything about Seclusion & Convenience. Plus, I happen to leave my favorite winter coat behind in the coat closet and upon realizing this, I emailed Ron in a complete panic (remembering other times of never seeing left behind items ever again), but the coat was not only found, it was then delivered to me the very next day. That to me sums it up, this cottage is not only a wonderful place to stay, it's also owned by wonderful, good people. Thanks for everything Ron!

We arrived on a rainy night to walk into a beautiful and warm home. The hot tub out back was in perfect condition, the house was clean and very well kept, and we all had an amazing time in this spacious home. We also decided to come a day early and WAYA did everything they could, including getting the cleaning crew in ASAP, to clean it and have it ready within 6 hours notice - awesome service!

Great Winter Getaway

We rented this house for a weekend with our family and had a great time. Our dogs loved the snow and the inside was so cozy with the fireplace. The place was really clean and had great decorating. It's very close to a lot of different things and also right off the highway so it was easy for our parents to get to from Ohio and easy for us to get to from WI.

Overall this was a very nice place. We met my mom here to celebrate the holidays together. Ron was great, very accommodating and personable. We never did try out the fireplace or hot tub, but I'm sure they work just fine. My only real complaint was that the diningroom chairs seemed slightly rickety, but I think Ron is working on getting that taken care of. All in all a nice vacation that we'd be more than happy to repeat.

Great Place For A Girls Weekend Getaway!

Really enjoyed the Seclusion and Convenience property this weekend! It was a perfect place to host a girl's weekend and celebrate our friend's 50th birthday. The weather was a "bit" less than perfect but the house was warm, inviting and beautiful! The location is great for easy access to everything Harbor Country. We have rented houses in that area before and the friends all agreed this property is their favorite. It was also great dealing with a leasing agent who immediately returned phone calls and emails and was very accomodating....in dealing with other agents in that area, that is not usually the case. We will definitely be using Waya for our future weekend getaways!

Wonderful and Cozy Winter Retreat

Ron: Thanks for accomodating my wife and I this week at what was a fantastic home. Everything exceeded our expectations. Mostly we sat in front of the wood burning fire place, but we were close enough to many of the wonderful places we needed to go and got out and about to the beach, local restaurants, vineyards and stores. My wife recommends the Pancake House in South Bend, and in fact we will probably visit there again on the way back home. The house was clean and inviting; the kitchen was large and accomodating; the hot tub was amazing. We have already started planning our next stay in the fall - with friends this time. I will highly recommend the Seclusion and Convenience to anyone looking for a comfortable vacation home that beats hotel leaving outright. Your fast and friendly service was icing on the cake. Thanks again for a wonderful week in Southwest Michigan.

Excellent Weekend Getaway, even in Winter!

4 friends and I spent a long weekend at Seclusion + Convenience in January, and we had a truly fantastic time cooking together, hanging out in the open style first floor (kitchen, LR, DR - you're all hanging out together!) and best of all, taking several dips in the 5-person hottub! If you are looking for SERIOUS seclusion, this is not quite it (there are other properties visible from this place,) so with no leaves on the trees it does not feel completely secluded, but that was not an issue for me at all. Just an FYI!

My sisters and I had a great time on our stay in this beautifully updated home! We had everything we needed and it was conveniently located close to everything. The house was clean and orderly. We just had the best weekend at your home. I was part of a group of six ladies that came and relaxed all weekend. It was a perfect place for us to have our girls weekend away...we loved that it was so clean, cozy and comfortable. We went to the winery, and did all sorts of crafts and just sat and chatted. We especially loved the hot tub! We will be sure to tell everyone about this location and look forward to renting from Ron again...he is a great guy to work with. Thanks so much for everything. Ron, we just got back from a 4-day stay, and we had a WONDERFUL time. The house exceeded our expectations: clean, tasteful, elegant, and very comfortable for both adults and children. A beautiful, well apointed home, well off the road for very quiet restful nights and relaxing mornings; a great location from which to explore all that Harbour County has to offer. We stayed at this home over New Years Eve and had SO MUCH FUN. The fire pit was a big hit with the guys and the darling house was a big hit with the girls. It is charming and just the right size for 3 couples. The home is clean and up-to-date and just a quick trip from Chicago. Ron is super nice and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

Ron is a great person to work with and does a fantastic job from beginning to end. The home is nicer than the description! "Seclusion" is a beautiful home and extremely comfortable. The layout is perfect and we had an absolutely delightful weekend there! It was hard to leave but we'll look forward to a return visit someday soon.

ron, we just came back from your place in union pier and i want to you to know that we had a blast! we loved the place so tastefully decorated with a lot of beautiful accents, warm touches and awesome surroundings... even though the weather simply didn't cooperate as much as we hoped, we still enjoyed the time spent together and breathtaking fall colors and very windy beach on the lake... i also want you to know that your place became a very special one for don and i because our son william took his first steps there! it was absolutely exciting and brought tears into our eyes... so, i would like to say thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your place, we had an awesome time, i took million pictures of the rainy pond, tress, leaves etc etc... i really hope we can go back there again... all the best to you :) jola and the gang

My husband and I spent his bday weekend here. The house is immaculate, comfortable, close to wineries and Lake Michigan. We WILL stay here again - especially when it get warmer and we can grill and sip wine in the screened porch. Worth every penny.

Thank you for opening up you house to us. It was nice to be within walking distance to the wineries and Union Piers cute little downtown area. My children loved the beach and the mini golf place. We loved the house and the hot tub with all is privacy. I would recommend your home to anyone looking to be close to so much but have a home with some privacy. We will be coming back soon.
