Great honeymoon spot. Watch the whales breaching, spectacular sunsets and listen to the sound of waves pounding the surf... all while you sit on your lanai and enjoy the warm serenity of the islands. This piece of paradise has a panorama view of the ocean. The only condos with a restaurant on site. 10 minutes from Hanalei where you can shop, eat or kayak in the river. Perhaps a drive to the end of the road where you can hike to see the Napali coast. Kilauea Lighthouse and its wildlife sanctuary are 10 minutes away, also good eats and shopping.Golfers dream.Walks in heaven.Kauai is magical.

On my next trip to Kauai (and there will be a next trip!) my husband and I plan to stay at Pali Ke Kua again. It was absolutely perfect - clean, quiet, comfortable, fantastic Princeville location, and had breathtaking views. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning overlooking the ocean. We appreciated the extra amenities at the condo; beach chairs, snorkel equipment, sun umbrella, beach towels, and even some leftover sunscreen. Traveling from Boston, it wasn't possible to bring most of this ourselves but provided us extra comfort and enjoyment while visiting. The other highlight for us was location - Princeville is a great place and perfect home base for exploring the North Shore and rest of the island. You are a quick 5 minute walk to the St. Regis hotel and a 5 minute drive to Hanalei Bay. We read about a great restaurant in the Pali Ke Kua complex but didn't have time to try it out. Otherwise, you'll need to travel to get dinner or cook at home. A car is necessary. There is a path that leads directly down to a beach. We preferred to drive to Hanalei Bay for our beach days, as we found it better for swimming and other beach activities. Finally, the owner responded to our inquiry promptly and was easy to deal with. We recommend staying here!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.
Owner response: Aloha Lindsey, Thanks very much for the rave review. I'm glad you enjoyed the vacation. I haven't been to the new PKK restaurant yet, nor have I seen a review. But my wife and I will try it out in January, which is our next trip. Come back to Pali Ke Kua any time. Mahalo, Jeff Berger

We live South Shore Kauai and love coming to this condo. Today we completed our second stay in 14 months and left wanting to stay longer. That's a good sign. The condo has an excellent location in the first building with fantastic views. You'll find a paved trail to Hideaways Beach close by. Kitchen is well stocked although a tea kettle would be a nice addition. Comfortable bed--tradewinds came through each night with the heavenly smell of tropical flowers. Even though it's not air conditioned, we were comfortable with the ceiling fans. The bedroom stays cool due to its location. Lots of nice touches throughout including comfortable furniture. The helpful owner (Jeff) answers questions promptly. You can't go wrong staying here. We'll definitely be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

This condo was amazing! We really enjoyed the beautiful views each evening, watching the sunsets beyond the cliffs of Kauai's north shore. The condo itself has very up to date appliances and looks fantastic! The private beach below is great for swimming, snorkeling, or just laying in the sun. The professionalism of the owners was outstanding, ensuring all questions were answering, and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. Of all of the condos we have stayed in the hawaiian islands, this was was by far the best! We will definitely be coming back again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Absolutely the best place in Princeville! Spectacular views make it seem you have the whole island to yourself. Condo is fresh and new on inside with hardwood floors and granite counters. If I lived on Kauai, THIS is where I'd live. Property owner a delight to work with, very professional and accommodating.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
