We recently stayed at this unit and although it has some positives, there are some negatives as well. You don't rent from the owner, but rather a property manager. Aston runs the property, but if you have any issues, you must call the property manager. The unit has some beach stuff(boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella, etc) we took advantage and the view is very nice overlooking the pool and you can see the ocean. Convenient Ka'anapoli location. Cieling fans in every room. Washing machine/dryer worked great. Negatives - not being picky, just describing the unit for other potential renters. Their is a window unit in the main living room, but the bedrooms are at the back of the unit. The A/C would not cool them and we used the provided box fan to try and push cool air to the bedrooms. but that forced us to keep the bedroom doors open and thus no privacy. We couldn't open the windows as this unit is right next to the elevator and you could hear people coming in all night. The windows themselves are missing two panes. Several(at least 5) bulbs were burnt out. Carpet is fraying at edges at traffic areas. Listing says appliances are new, but date codes said 1999 and 2001 on the ones I checked. Dishwasher is missing wheels on the bottom tray and difficult to move. "New" couch is worn now and you sink down to the pull out bed springs. Master bath tub has dirt stains on the tub, but does have nice shower heads. The serving pieces are adequate, but don't expect mom's fine china or even a matching set. Overall, this is a decent place to stay if you can get an affordable rate. Rhere are other places to stay that are nicer and have better beach access, but will cost you more.Owner response: There have been several updates since this review and we look forward to your visit Mahalo
