  My family loved this house. The owners are very accomodating. We even had a beautiful bouquet of flowers on our arrival. The location was perfect, out the back and to the beach. My granddaughters, ages 4 and 6, loved the beach toys provided and we appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We were very close to everything in San Diego and the surrounding area. I would defintely recommend this property to my friends and relatives, and hope our family will get to return in the near future.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  What a great time our family had while staying in this condo at Imperial Beach. It had all the comforts of home and a few more.We were able to get around the city with ease and always felt like we were coming home at the end of the day.We were able to take advantage of the beach, the cafe next door, and the farmer's market down the street. One week was not nearly enough time to see and do everything that there is in San Diego.This was our first time renting a condo and it has spoiled us for staying in hotels.From the first contact to the last, Manuel was gracious and accommodating. Our only regret is not being able to meet him in person, as he was out of town. I hope we can come back for a longer stay some day.

• Located on Imperial Beach!

  We found the location of the property to be as described. And we appreciated the early check-in at 2 P.M. since it was Christmas Eve. This rental is dated from the 80's and most of the furnishings are from that era; including the linens and towels. We found the unit to contain everything that you can imagine, with some maintainance needed. The grout in the kitchen counter and flooring were dirty, family room TV without audio, bath/showers did not drain(instilled drain opener), oven boiler soiled. However we did feel safe in the rental with exterior shutters on the patio doors, windows, and dead bolts on the doors. Scoring this unit from 1-10. Location=10, Appearance = 5, Amenites = 3, Clean and well-maintained=3, Owner's helpful with concerns=4(emailed regarding TV, informed 'us' to call cable), Recommend this property=5, Nearby activites and resturants=8. Imperial Beach is close to the interstate making many available dining options. And Cowwabunga,on the pier, has wonderful hand made ice creams and fresh roasted java!

  Owner response: We Dear Guest, We deeply regret that your stay with us hasn’t totally to your satisfaction. Your sweet and sour comments were mostly because of inadequate information. I want to strait your records a little. The building was built in 1997 not in the 80’s. We acquired our condo in 2000. Our linens and towels are of the best quality money can buy (pure Egyptian cotton 500 and 600 treads) and they are replaced often. The furnishing are new (we can show you the receipts) our mattress are of the highest quality and all our past guest were very happy about (please read comments from past guests). We have informed you that we were not able to be there to greet your family because we had to travel to the East Coast, very sorry about that. The flat screen TV’s are obviously not from the 80’s era!!! Because we are totally committed to the wellbeing and satisfaction of our guests I decided to reply to your comments to strait up some bad errors. Nevertheless, everybody does understand that we can’t “unfortunately” please everybody, every time, but we strive to to do just that and provide the very best possible accommodations for our guests. We will do everything to repair and upgrade our place for our guests as per “your suggestions”. Because of your comments our cleaning staff has now being fired and replaced hoping that a better cleaning job will be done. We hope you will return to visit us again in the future (our past guests are always welcomed) and your personal opinion “to such you are absolutely entitled” will change for the better. We want to thank you for your business that we appreciate very much and hope you will return to visit us again.

  We had a wonderful family get-away! The condo is in a great location, on the beach, a short walk to the pier and shops- very relaxing and laid back. The pace is much nicer than the more "popular" beaches, yet this is only 10-15 minutes down the coast from Coronado and the hustle/bustle if you want that. The accommodations are very nice, and we especially appreciated all the beach toys, buggy boards and lounge chairs that were available. The deck over looking the ocean is terrific for sunsets and cookouts-you will NOT be disappointed.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

  Our vacation at this condo on the beach was memorable. There were 9 of us including 3 children. The listing photos were an accurate representation of the clean and well-maintained rooms. The second level patio was wonderful because we could sit there in the morning with our coffee, in the afternoon with our wine, and watch the little ones on the beach. The lifeguard presence was admirable. The garage was well stocked with all the beach toys and items we could ever want, including kites. We met the owners on our arrival and they were very gracious. San Diego was a short drive to many attractions. We would recommend this condo very highly to families. Our only complaint was our 9 hour drive from Sacramento. Next time, we fly!!

  Our stay could not have been better! The property is even nicer than the pictures. It was very clean and in excellent working order. The furnishings are nicer than our own home! Being right next to the beach and with a wonderful view of the ocean from the patio. The included beach gear was very nice and the owners are wonderful people and easy to work with. We have our reservations for next year already! What higher recommendation could we give.

  Manuel & Teresa, what a week!!! This is our second year to stay in this condo and about our 8th year at Imperial Beach. This place is so much nicer that where we had stayed previously and we love having the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, crib, pack-n-play, high chair and even binoculars already there waiting so we don't have to haul from home. The access to the beach is amazing and the view of the beach from the balcony/porch is wonderful! The inside of the condo is beautiful and comfortable. The beds are cozy and there is lots of room. There is a barbecue on the deck. There is a washer and dryer and three quality wide screen TV's. The owners don't mind that we have a very large family and bring all of them with us. There is a garage to park the car or store the ice chests, strollers, etc and a space for another car in front of the garage. We feel very safe and at home in this town. The condo is wonderful, but even better are the owners! Manuel & Teresa are too good to be true. They are so kind and inviting. We don't think of them as landlords, we consider them friends because they really are our friends. They go above and beyond to make our family feel welcome!

  I believe this is the 7th summer that we have spent a week at the beach house. It is a fabulous week that we all look forward to. We bring our bikes, go for some amazing rides along the strand to Coronado, enjoy fabulous walks on the beach and enjoy just being together as a family. It is beyond comfortable for all of us. We have had many extended family who have enjoyed staying here as well based on our recomendations. Manuel and Teresa are very hospitable and take care of every necessary accomodation.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  Our family stayed here the end of May 2012. We had a wonderful relaxing time. Manuel ans Teresa though of everything we might need for a STRESS free vacation! The condo was lovely and the beach was awesome! I loved the small town feeling of imperial beach! You have to visit the farmers market on Friday and sat evening the fresh fruit and entertainment was great! Oh did I mention the beds wow very comfortable! Thank you Manuel and Teresa we will definatly look forward to another visit! God bless!

  Manuel & Teresa, We just wanted to thank you for the perfect vacation! The condo was beauitful. You two think of everything. Gracie and Jack have not stopped talking about learning how to boogie board (you supplied the boards) and how much fun they had playing on the beach. Sean & I really got to enjoy this vacation. We were actual able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We can not wait to return next year. We truely enjoyed our stay. Thank you for being such great hosts.
