"Our Beach Home" is on the first floor and is the equivalent of two condos in size. We are just "one short block from the ocean". On 27th St and Camino Del Mar in the Del Mar Colony.
The condo offers a bright and cheerful atmosphere of beach life. The updated kitchen and in-house washer and dryer gives the convenience of home. The condo offers new paint, new plumbing, doors, fixtures, furniture, flat screen TV and bedding. We have ample storage full of beach necessities. The bedrooms are "extra large" divided by a hall way. An entertainment Den offers a desk, bar, and couch/sleeper. Watch runners and cyclist as you have your morning coffee. The San Diego Fairgrounds and Race Track are within view.
The San Diego airport is 20 minutes away along with the Solana Beach Train station that can take you to San Diego, Disneyland, or Legoland.

I've rented the condo 3 times for annual golf weekend in San Diego and the condo is excellent. One block (100 yds) to Del Mar beach, 5-10 min walk to old town area and restaurants, 5 min to racetrack. If you are looking for large comfortable condo in the heart of Del Mar, look no further. Easy rental transaction.

This condo provides spacious living for 2 or 8 people. This is a unique find for condo living. Extremely clean and shows better than the photos reflect. The amenities were more than expected. The location in the Del Mar Colony makes it ideal. Just a walk across the street - steps to the ocean. New double pain windows provides safety, peace and quite. Access to the beach is easy with the brand new steps and handrails provided by the City of Del Mar. This was nice! Our favorite was walking to the Brigantine for dinner. So close and Yummy! Our experince was wonderful with the owner and VRBO. We would highly recommend this to a friend or relative.

My extended family recently stayed at this beach home. We had six adults and three children, as well as three local adults who spent their days (including dinnertime) with us near the beach. This property was perfect for us. It was clean and well maintained, extremely convenient to Solana Beach and Del Mar, steps from the beach, and very comfortable. We walked to Beach Grass for breakfast in Solana Beach and to The Stratford for breakfast in Del Mar, both of which were great. We would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

John and Nina have rented from us approx. 4 times. They come from Mass. to visit their grandchildren and son and daughter-in-law. They loved our condo so much along with the City of Del Mar they decided to purchase a home hear. We want to wish they the very best! They enjoyed the location and size of our condo (larger than most). They were able to spend Christmas here so Christmas dishes and Christmas decorations were available for them.

Ed and Eilleen, snowbirds from Mass., find our condo most accomadating for their busy schedules. Retirement is not in their vocabulary.They take in seminars at the universitys, frequent San Diego's finest playes and operas. They take the bus to visit friends in Long Beach and never stop moving. They are health conscience and find Del Mar a place of energy, exercise and relaxation.They have rented from us for two years and have found our condo to be the first one they have return back to.The spacious living room and large bedrooms give the feeling of home. They just bring their clothes and they are set. WiFi is available along with a flat screen in the master bedroom and two other T.V.s in the condo.

Ed and Janet came from Canada to visit their children and grandchildren. This is their second year renting from us.They love taking the grandchildren to the beach. It is so handy, just cross the cross-walk and down approx. three houses to the ocean. The condo provided sanitary and clean environment, new beds,new shower & bath, large bedrooms, games, videos, game table, beach towels, and a large dinning table to accomodate their whole family. Janet was even able to make a birthday cake for her granddaughter. Plenty of kitchen utensils. An additonal Den that is used for entertaining, sink, bar, desk, and fold out sofa that makes into a bed was an extra plus. . .
