You are 40 minutes from the Equestrian Games and will be in the middle of horse country. Centrally located in Kentucky this home boasts a beautiful country setting to enjoy all of nature's abundance and beauty. On any given day you can witness farmers baling hay,and newborn angus calves romping through the fields while their mothers graze nearby. The bucolic setting includes a 1200 sq.ft. house plan that is very spacious and flows effortlessly from the kitchen to the large family/dining room combination. Sunlight flows effortlessly into numerous windows and dances across gleaming hardwoods. The beds boast new plush mattresses, sumptuous 400+ thread count cotton sheets and pillowcases. Three pillow choices are available for your sleeping comfort - ranging from soft to extra firm. Bedside tables provide lighting for your reading pleasure, and the bath provides plush Egyptian cotton towels and wash cloths.
Tranquility and comfort await you on the 10' x 20' covered front porch with relaxing spring chairs and a breezy ceiling fan, or for more privacy step out of the kitchen onto the concrete patio furnished with an eating table and more spring chairs for languishing or dining alfresco. The well-stocked kitchen offers all new dishes, cooking utensils, and coffe/cappucino/espresso pot. The kitchen comfortably seats 6, and the dining room does as well.
North Middletown, KY also 4 miles away boasts great cheeseburgers and fries, a post office and in the evening kids can play on the elementary school playground.
Albeit quiet, a quick drive of 20 minutes escorts you to the hustle and bustle of small town Paris, KY home of historic Duncan Tavern, quaint downtown antique shops and Houston Oaks Golf Course. Eight minutes into this drive you will pass the 200+ year old Cane Ridge Shrine Meeting House. Proceed south on highway 27 to Kentucky's "Million Dollar Row" where you will experience the epitome of the bluegrass state: rolling hills, plank fences and spectacular thoroughbred horses ambling through the beautifully manicured pastures. You will not want to miss the specialty shops and eateries at the quaint Hamburg Pavilion in Lexington, Ky. Once in Lexington you can visit many other neighboring towns (maps will be provided at the house).
Other nearby attaractions include: Mt. Sterling, KY home to "October Court Days," Natural Bridge State Park, boating, fishing or sailing at Lake Carnico in Carlisle, KY or Cave Run Lake in Cave Run, KY. After a long day of sightseeing, shopping, Keeneland, UK football or basketball you will love coming home to the comforts that await you.
