This was a very relaxing comfortable cottage. However, before renting inquire as to whether the bathroom has been upgraded. When we vacationed here in September, 2011 the shower stall was VERY VERY TINY!!! To be exact approx, 27 inches wide by about 27 inches deep. I am 5' 7" tall and the shower spray reached my nose. Very difficult to take a decent shower! Everything else was fine. The cottage was clean and cozy. Queen bed was comfortable but did shake around when your partner turned over. Lots of windows provided a wonderful breeze and there are fans available in every room. The location is ideal for closeness to restaurants, shopping, etc. but also quiet and secluded. We were here after the Labor Day holiday and so the population of the area is what we expected. We would consider this cottage again, IF the bathroom is updated to include an appropriate sized shower.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
