This was such a great place for a skiing weekend! Thanks to Patrick for allowing us to rent at a completely last minute decision on our part to head up to the mountains. The place was perfect! Within walking distance of Randi's Grill and Pub, which had great food. the condo was clean and well maintained. The bunk room provided plenty of room for the kids. And the beds were amazingly comfy and cozy! It snowed both nights we were there. It made for a postcard perfect picture the next morning looking out over the deck with the stream running behind the condos. Thanks again for sharing!

View was great off the back. Great way to start the morning. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Rooms were larger then we thought they would be. Living room is big with plenty of space for the seven of us to gather. Patrick was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. The local ski shop that he recomended was close and staff was nice. Bus for the slopes picks up a short walk from condo (depending on driver if they will stop in front of condo!) Shops and restaurants in Winter Park are within walking distance. It would have been nice to have detailed instructions on how the tv/speaker system worked together. I had 3 teenagers with me and it took some work to figure out how the fancy speaker system looped through the tv/dvd. There was only a sheet that explained the direct tv, which was the easy part. We would use the condo on future visits.

We stayed here with a group of 5 adults and 4 children, and had a great time! The condo was exactly as described, just like the photos. It was clean and well stocked with bedding, kitchen items, etc. The owner was very helpful and went above and beyond to take care of us! We would definitely stay here again, highly recommended!

Great place and better location. We have done a guys trip hear two years in a row and plan on a 3rd next year. You can't beat the location. Can walt to many places to eat and shuttle for the Park picks up right outside. The place is very clean and well kept.

Lovely get-away condo

We had a great time in this condo with another family. It comfortably slept 8 of us. The free bus stop was just a few steps from the condo, and made it very easy to get to the slopes. The owner was incredibly responsive and wonderful to work with. We would definitely come back again.

Excellent condo, roomy and up to date. Very comfortable, would recommend to everyone. Only issue was with the rec center staff.

stayed here with another family, 4 boys so bedroom set up was great (main reason we chose this condo) & everything in working order. Only complaint would be would have been nice to have small washer/dryer so wouldn't have to go to rec renter to do laundry. View was nice, but flights of stairs with ski boots on and/or carrying gear/groceries/laundry did get a bit cumbersome. rec area was a bit of a walk and they did give us a hard time allowing boys ages 13 thru 16 to stay without parent present. Patrick was quick to respond to any questions/concerns and gracious to let us stay longer on the last day (as our son broke his collarbone snowboarding) so we wouldn't have to wait at the train station too long. Overall, good value for this time of year...just wish snow had been better!

We had such a great time at this property. The kids LOVED the bunk bed room. It is really a spacious place. The kitchen is stocked with more than enough utensils, glasses, pots, pans, etc., which was really nice because we did A LOT of cooking! We also noticed that the carpet in the bedroom areas was really nice and easy on the feet. The owner was very responsive! We did eat out at Hernandos one night. And the bus stop for the shuttle is right outside the building. It was really cold the weekend we were there and the place was really nice and cozy warm! Thanks so much!!!

We had an excellent 3 days, staying at this property. It is a very spacious home, with a stream running in the front, which made our stay even more relaxing.... I would recommend it to anyone...

It was a fantastic couple of days that our group of 8 enjoyed at your property between July 4th and July 6th. We weren't sure what to expect when we chose this property for our retreat up in the mountains, but were pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent, the stream flowing in front of the unit made for a very soothing and relaxing time. The short walking distance to the Town of Winter Park, the size of the property as well as the additional amenities made it a very good trip for all of us. I definitely will stay at this property again.....

Christmas 2010 unforgetable family gathering in Winter Park

It was a picturesque snowy scene as we drove into Winter Park. Directions to the condo were perfect! We are in our 60's and not athletic, so the 2 flights of steps carrying luggage, food, and ourselves was a challenge particularly at 8000 feet! What a reward was waiting for us as we entered the condo, warm, clean, welcoming and roomy. The grandkids were thrilled to find bunk beds, we were thrilled with our kingsize bed and my son said the queen bed slept very well. Plenty of supplies, TP(10 rolls+), kitchen well appointed and refrigerator like new! It really was a lovely view and we were so close to everything we wanted to do. Other family from out of town were a parking lot away. The time there was the most fun we have had over Christmas in years. The 2 most inconvienent things were, 2 flights of steps and the top bunk beds with no side rails forcing the grandkids to sleep on the lower bunks. Everything else was great. Patrick was very helpful in responding to all our questions prior to our trip and of course his map to get us there was detailed for we inexperienced mountain travelers.

Owner response: The condo building stairs are outside. Once you're in the condo, it's all one level...there are no stairs to worry about inside. We've never heard of problems with kids falling out of the upper bunks, and one side of each bunk bed is already against the wall. While I wouldn't put a child under 3 years old in an upper bunk anyway, our own kids liked the climbing when they were a bit older than 3.

We came for spring break skiing, completely enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it. Our group of 7 adults (2 50ish and 5 20ish) was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sounds and view of the Fraser River as it grew from the spring snowmelt. The scenery from the balcony is so relaxing! So much more wonderful than looking out over a cluttered parking lot like some places I've been to. With all our gear stowed conveniently outside (7 snowboards, 4 sets of skis) and boots inside, the condo was not cluttered.

We stayed over MLK Birthday weekend 2010 - our group was two dads and three teen-age boys. The condo was great for our needs, each of the adults had a nice spacious bedrom, and the boys were thrilled to share the bedroom with bunks. Access to Winter Park and the town was very convenient. The only negative aspect was the pool/clubhouse set-up. WE hoped there would be an outdoor hot tub but there isn't. It looks like the pool roof can be opened, but that appears to be a summertime-only option.

Owner response: Sometimes they open the pool rooftop in the winter, but it depends upon the conditions, both inside and outside.

We went to Winter Park for a weekend in February and had a wonderful time at this High Country Haus condo. It slept our crew of 7 very comfortably, and we made dinner for about 12 people in the spacious and well-stocked kitchen. The space is inviting and the hot tub is fantastic. Views off the back deck are incredible - right down on the creek and forest. And you can walk to Winter Park bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this place for your own adventure!

Patricks place was a wonderful getaway for our family, large rooms, clean and a great location for a quick ride up to the base of Winter Park. Patrick thank you for the fantastic tips in renting our ski equipment before we even arrived, it really made our weekend go smoothly. We would recommend Patricks place to all our friends.

My family and I enjoyed staying at the condo for a weekend. The amenities are great and we even had firewood delivered right to our door in the evenings. I would definitely stay there again; everything was perfect!

We rented this condo in the week following Christmas and into the new year. It was a lovely, well-appointed condo, very obviously well cared for and well renovated, with plenty of room for our group of 9 people. It was in an easily accessible part of Winter Park, with a lot of shuttle service nearby. We made use of the shuttle very regularly and did not encounter any problems. We will keep this condo at the top of our list for the next time we stay in Winter Park.

This was our second stay, in as many years. Great condo with tons of room! Pick up for shuttle is really close, so getting to WP is quick & easy. Any time we are headed to WP, this will be our first choice for a place to stay!

Me and my entire family had a very good time on our vacation. The condo was very nice and had more than enough supplies for all of us. The kids loved the pool and the hot tubs were nice to sit in after a long day on the mountain. Patrick was very cooperative and worked with us on every question we had for him. We will definitely look at staying here again next year.

We had a great time and thought the condo was great for our family of 8. The kitchen was more than well supplied except there were no coffee filters or garbage bags which we went out to purchase. Also, very lacking in toliet paper supplies which we read was an issue among other guests. The king and queen beds were extremely comfortable, but the bunks less desirable, especially with the plastic covers on the two. The bathrooms were great and awesome shower in master. We loved the firplace and had a fire every night. The kids loved the pool, had a great time there in the evenings after skiing. We would say that the shuttle was great the first couple of days we were there, but after that not so great. We waited quite a long time every other day and on one occasion when the driver finally showed, she stopped the bus and opened the door and announced that she didn't like to stop where we were standing, where we had been picked up every time previous, and then she closed the door and drove off without us. After that the wait became tedious so we decided to catch the bus on the road (purple line)which came by every 5 minutes. The blue line was slow to pick up in the afternoon as well. There were amazing fireworks on the 31st right outside the condo. We stood on the balcony and watched. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place to others for sure. Just need to make sure the tp is in better supply!!! Thanks again!

Owner response: For basic supplies like trash bags, coffee filters or TP, guests may always get replenishments from management company. Nevertheless, we have made sure there is an adequate supply of coffee filters and trash bags. And management company will have extra TP available. Shuttle service quality often depends on crowds and time of day, which is why we recommend departures in either direction a bit earlier than the usual crowd.

We had a wonderful white Christmas! The condo was the perfect size for our group of 7. The shuttle was very convenient getting around WP, and we loved having the convenient store within walking distance. The views from the balcony were amazing, and the kids loved playing in the snow behind the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the shower in the master bedroom was huge! The kids loved going to the rec center to swim and play games too. Everyone had a wonderful time -- Thanks, Patrick for all of your help to make it an easy trip!

Our vacation to Winter Park was fantastic! The condo was very nice and had all the amenities anyone could ask for. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The views were also awesome-very serene. Patrick was very easy to deal with and we would recommend this condo to anyone.

Your condo was wonderful! Views across the meadow and the sounds of the river pouring over the rocks were enjoyed during our rest hours. Marvelous granite countertops and kitchen was fully equipped. Kids loved the bunkroom, pool and hot tubs and we enjoyed having the extra television in the bedroom. Winter Park is still a quaint ski town great for summer AND winter vacations!

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your condo. The condo was perfect for our vacation. There were 4 adults and 4 children and we were very comfortable. The bunk beds were perfect for the kids and the bathrooms were a great size. The condo was extremely convient to Winter Park ski resort, ski rental places, restaurants, shopping, and the Frazier Tubing Hill (which was a blast). The best part about your condo was the fresh snow right outside the back side of the condo for the kids to play in and build a snowman. They were safe and well entertained!!! We had a great spring break in Winter Park and the condo was indeed a joy--we were somewhat disappointed in the hours of the pool--the condo itself had everything we needed.

Owner response: Thanks, Patty! Pool Hours are set by the Association and include weekends from noon until 11 pm, and weekdays from 1pm until 9 pm.

Our stay at this condo was fantastic. The condo was very clean and well kept. The convience of the shuttle was great and there was nothing we went without except for our stay was too short. FANTASTIC VIEW from the balcony. We will go back!
