Last year we had the lucky chance to spend our vacation at Studio della Pace enjoying it so much to want stay there also this year when we went to Rome for another fabulous week and again this time we fell in love with Studio della Pace, immaculated and cleaned as the first time. No need to say how outstanding the location is and how thorough, genuine, and kind was our host. Studio della Pace is our home in Rome, definitely!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.
Owner response: I'm really happy you enjoyed your stay at Studio della Pace for the second year in a row and hope to see you again in the future. Thank you for your feedback. A presto!

We had a wonderful time in this apartment. The location is perfect. Two minute walk to Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiori. Ten minute walk to Vatican and Trevi Fountain. Twenty minute walk to Spanish Steps and the Colosseum. We never took a bus except to and from Termini. I stayed there with my daughter and a family friend - three women. We always felt safe. There was a farmer's market right outside our door, and a regular market and a pharmacy steps away. Rosella met me when I arrived, explained everything and was very responsive. The bathroom is less private than we Americans are used to; however all is clean and well taken care of. I have already recommended this apartment to all of my friends who are thinking about going to Rome.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We actually stayed in this apartment in Nov 2011, and Loved the location! The best food in all of Rome is in the little restaurants that line the surrounding neighborhood streets. We traveled with our 5 year old who easily walked to all the major sites from this location, including the Coliseum, Vatican and Trevi Fountain!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed here for four nights in January. Our contact Fabrizio was very good about responding to our emails, answering any of our questions, and met us at our designated meeting time. Location is great, a short walk to Piazza Novano (which we found to be a good, central location), and there are a bunch of restaurants and cafes in the blocks surrounding the apartment. Did not have any issues with late night noise. The apartment was great - well taken care of, plenty of space, wi-fi worked great. I would stay here again with out hesitation.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

If you want to experience Rome more like a Roman than a tourist, then book your stay in this wonderful little apartment owned by a gentleman who really cares about his guests. Located literally just a short walk from the Piazza Navona, one of the city's most popular and centrally located attractions, Studio della Pace is clean, well-maintained, and has every amentiy a traveler would ever want, including a clothes washer, air conditioning, full kitchen, TV, and a safe for cash and valuables you don't want to carry around. Fabrizio met us at the apartment upon our arrival and showed us how to use all of the appliances and offered suggestions on where to eat (there's a great restaurant on the ground floor of the building.) He even arranged private car transportation for us to and from the Fiumicino Airport at a fare equal to or less than taxis. Each weekday morning, a fresh fruit and vegetable stand is set up outside the front door in the small plaza so there's no excuse for not eating healthy during your visit. The unusual layout of the unit with its wooden staircase to a loft that has twin mattresses and a very low ceiling would be great for kids or teens but it was a little too "adventurous" for an older couple like us. But sleeping was no problem since the living room sofa easily converts to a comfortable double bed at night. The Metro system is not convenient to this part of the city but that simply meant that we spent each of our 6 days there getting much-needed exercise by taking our time and walking to every major attraction we wanted to see. The Vatican is about a 30-minute leisurely stroll away as are the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trastavere, Capitoline, etc. If you want to use the Metro, there's a station a few blocks from the Vatican. We thoroughly enjoyed our Roman holiday thanks in a great part to Fabrizio and his bellissimo appartamento!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

If you are looking for a place in Rome that will put you in the middle of the action then this place is it. One block from Piazza Navona, with small streets lined with bars, cafes, and shops. The plaza outside the door is full of night time activity. During the day you can walk to all the main sites in Rome, Vatican, the forum,Trevi etc. The apt itself is spacious and well kept. The bed may be a challenge to you in the loft, but once you get in its pretty comfortable. Bathroom is big and has a washing machine. Kitchen is big enough and well equipped. Little amenities here and there show that the owner is looking out for you. He even arranged my transport to and from the airportRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

This apartment is right by Piazza Navona, which we found, is the place to be! The entrance to the apartment is by a restaurant, and on that street, are many other bars and restaurants which become quite lively at night. The apartment is really nice. Very spacious, with the bed in a loft above the bathroom. There is a washing machine, which I hung laundry out on the line under the window, so I felt very "Italian" doing that. The kitchen has everything, but I couldn't find the silverware. We didn't cook anyway, I just made tea in the mornings. If you are a large person, the shower won't work, very tiny stall, but we managed. I could seriously live here, and recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome for a few days. Our favorite place to get espresso in the mornings was Bar del Fico, around the corner to the right if you are facing the street. It was really good, and only 80 cents! Definitely a place the locals hang out in. Oh, and when you are in bed, the streetlamp outside shines in the window, we didn't figure out for a few days, there were shutters to close!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our stay at Via della Pace was truly a memorable one. The location was excellent. It was seconds to Piazza Navona and restaurants. The grocery store across from apartment was very convenient Fabrizio was very helpful with everything. He is very kind as is his sister. He can arrange for driver to pick you up at the airport if you wish. The apartment is clean and roomy enough for 4. It has everything you will need. I would recommend it highly.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our family of three stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment was I. A great lively neighbourhood with groceries, shopping and restaurants all nearby, and most of Old Rome's sites within minutes of your door. In fact we walked everywhere, never even stepping foot on a bus. The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities you need to feel at home, while away from home. Most places we stayed in during our vacation in Italy required that we bring our own supplies (like toilet paper, dish soap etc.), but not here - everything was provided. Fabrizio was super helpful, responsive to our needs and even arranged private transport to and from the airport, which was really reliable. The WiFi was also great, with a super strong and reliable signal (something we never found anywhere else). If I have one complaint it would be bed arrangements. There are onky two single beds (in North America they would be like a child's twin size bed (in the loft which was cozy!) although this may be normal in Europe) and a sofabed. There is no full size "proper, free standing" bed, which we were hoping for after 3 long weeks on the road. In my opinion this isn't very clear in the write up, but then again, it may have been a misunderstanding on our part. That said, we would definitely recommend this place without question. Just don't expect a double/queen size bed as we did! One last thing I would say is that the apartment was very comfortable, despite the extreme heat while we were there. The air conditioning worked well and there were also two free standing fans which we used at night. We were never too hot.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This was definitely a gem of an apartment. First of all, Fabrizio was above and beyond helpful from the first inquiry to when we arrived. He answered all emails promptly and was very helpful In arranging an airport pick up. Taxi would have been the same cost and this was much more convenient. I recommend using his driver because it would have taken longer to get to the apartment. He was there waiting for us and showed us all amenities and even discussed how we would depart to Termini. The apartment itself was perfect. My husband and I slept on the pull out sofa and it was very comfortable and easy to operate. My mom had the loft and we all were very comfortable with the space and temperature. The location is surprisingly quiet!! We visited the bar across the street one night and left while it was loud. You couldn't hear a peep inside the building. If we return to Rome, we will hope to stay here again. Fabrizio has a beautiful apartment and was very honest and helpful for the entire process. Grazie!!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
