The Studio Della Pace is perfectly positioned for seeing the major sites of Rome. We were limited to a long weekend so time was precious and were able to walk to most of the sites we wanted to see. Surrounded by a fascinating network of narrow streets containing a great selection of restaurants bars and cafes and having a well stocked shop for provisions almost directly opposite the apartment could not be better placed. The owner, Fabrizio is very helpful and completely trust worthy and is genuinely concerned that you should have a safe and happy visit to Rome. We hope to return soon! One point, for the older visitor you do need to be physical ok to accesses the sleeping area but there is a comfortable studio couch if any difficulty. Have a great stay!

WOW! My wife and son and I stayed at this property in February from the 3rd to the 6th. We had a great experience as Fabrizio arranged for our transportation to and from the airport (door to door pick up) for 55 Euros. The rental was ideally located near Piazza Navona and we traveled throughout Rome without any difficulty. We had a slight problem with sending and securing a security deposit but this ended up being not a problen as Fabrizio was very accommodating to us and our travel plans. The apartment was clean and in avery safe area and excellent restaurants in the immediate vacinity. Everything was in walking distance and many locals near the apartment spoke English and were friendly and welcoming. We definitiely plan to stay again. The apartment had evrything we needed and was warm, inviting and well maintained. The Wi-Fi worked without any problems, and the amenities in the apartment were very sufficient. Exceptional Rome apartment

My nieces and I enjoyed this wonderful apartment the week before Christmas 2011. We found its location to the sites of Rome amazing. Most sights were within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean (a cleaning person even came in and cleaned mid-visit), leaving fresh towels, etc. The apartment includes everything a family would need in a "home away from home." There was even olive oil, balsamic vinegar, as well as many other kitchen staples. The owner, Fabrizio, was extremely helpful! We had a bit of an airline glitch - an e-mail to Fabrizio enroute helped iron out our arrival plans. The car services provided by Fabrizio at an additional cost was so helpful. They were prompt and very efficient. Fabrizio even arranged a taxi for us to the train station for a day trip to Florence. There are several cafes on the street - even one that serves an American breakfast! Fabrizio recommended two restaurants that were both wonderful. Our favorite was Da Francisco. The proximity to Piazza Novanna was also a real plus. I would not hesitate in recommending this apartment. We dealt directly with Fabrizio, and everything went very smoothly.

A Month in Rome late October to Early November 2011

We found the apartment exactly as described and very charming and comfortable. Our pick up worked flawlessly and Fabrizio's oersonal welcome to the apartment made us feel right at home. We found the central location to be perfect and we could walk to almost all the areas we wanted to visit. The apartment is kept very clean and any maintenance required was prompt. The area is full of life with cafes and shops but we were not bothered by street noises. We had some problems with prepaid tours due to a protest and a flood at the Colosseum and we were very grateful to have Fabrizio's patient assistance. We plan to come back and will stay at Studio Della Pace again with pleasure. The amazing espresso machine works very well but if you are used to North American style filtered coffee you might want to bring along whatever you need to produce it. A small visitor comment book might be a good addition; visitors who have something to pass on to the next guests might use it to alert them to things like the wonderful art gallery and coffee bar attached to the church of Santa Maria Della Pace.

This is the best word to describe this apartment. Perfect location, perfect hosts. My brother and I visited Rome in September and we decided we could have not chosen a better location or apartment. Fabrizio arranged for our transportation from the airport to the apartment and he was there to greet us. We arrived very early in the morning but Fabrizio took care of our luggage and sent us out to enjoy the morning. We arrived back at the apartment in the afternoon and met Rosella, who showed me how to operate everything. Our stay there was great and one of the reasons was the washing machine. I was so grateful to be able to have it. The cafe in front of the apartment was also great, along with a grocery, and also a green grocer. I am already planning another trip back and I hope Fabrizio will welcome me. Thank you for your hospitality.

Home away from home!

We loved this apartment and the owner. The location was amazing...just on the edge of many activities. With two children, it was a wonderful place as we felt like we could go out for the day, come back to make dinner and then be right back in Rome culture without much effort. We were given all we needed, including a personal welcome. In fact, he helped us when our prearranged trip to the airport he fell through and never showed up! He called the company for us to clarify and when we discovered we were on our own, he called someone and got a discounted rate for us. We would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. Enjoying Rome is easier when you feel comfortable and at home!

We stayed 5 nights in Fabrizio's apartment. Fabrizio arranged the limo from the airport and was at the apartment to welcome us. We felt at home right away. The apartment is well equipped (thank god for the airco), and is close to all the action. Although around you a lot is happening (people/restaurants/bars) the noise in the apartment is close to none. From the apartment most sights are at walking distance (Vatican 15 minutes, Colosseo 25 minutes, piazza navone 30 seconds). The weather was warm, but not too hot. Everything you need in terms of restaurant, supermarket, grocery store, gelato, espresso at the bar, etc is very close. Overall we had an excellent stay and would like to thank Fabrizio. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay with Fabrizo again.

My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying in Studio Della Pace for 10 days. We searched the internet long and hard before finally settling on Fabrizio's apartment,and I have to say we were not disappointed. Fabrizio was extremely helpful and answered all our enquiries. The limo service to and from the airport was well worth the extra expense as it took all the hassle out of arriving and leaving. The apartment itself is exactly as described on the website,but the real bonus has to be the location. Barely 100 yards from Piazza Navona, we ended up walking nearly everywhere.The Vatican,Pantheon and the Forum all within easy walking distance. Surrounded by restaurants,cafe's and bars yet when you closed your door at night it was extremely quiet.We have both fallen in love with not only Rome but this excellent gem of an apartment. We both dream of returning some day and hope that the Trevi fountain holds enough of our coins to make that wish come true.

Comfortable Oasis in the Middle of Historical Roman Glory....

Our family of four stayed here for three nights in June 2011. Fabrizio was very helpful and attentive. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. (Our teenagers had no problem with the ladder leading to the loft beds.) But the best thing about Studio Della Pace is its location. When you leave the apartment, you step out into a very small and charming square, with a fruit vendor, cafe, newsstand and restaurant literally a few steps away. If feels like a neighborhood, not a tourist area. Just around the corner is the church for which the street is named, tucked in between tight Roman alleys. You can't find the church on a map, yet inside it is gorgeous and filled with beautiful artwork. If you visit when it opens at 9 am, you'll have the place to yourself. Then just one more minute beyond the church is the fantastic Piazza Navona. At night it is vibrant and filled with people. Early in the morning it is quiet and majestic. Oogling over Bernini's fountain all by ourselves in the early hours of the day was a highlight of our trip. And then just a few more minutes beyond that, the Pantheon. Amazing! We would definitely recommend this apartment.

An excellent base for visiting all the sites of Rome,it was so convienient we walked everywhere. Fabrizio arranged a luxury car to pick us up at the airport, we were 35 miutes late but the driver was there and we were soon at the apartment. Fabrizio greeted us, the apartment was as described and clean and well maintained, he explained how things worked and which resteraunts he used locally. They were excellent. We used them each day and were never disappointed in the food, wine, service or price. There was a friendly deli across the road which we used daily. I had my passport and driving license stolen and Fabrizio was of great assistance in helping with the police and getting a replacement from the Embassy. Piazza Navonna is a short stroll and what a lovelier setting could you have for enjoying a well deserved beer at the end of visiting the fantastic sites of Rome. Thank you Fabrizio, we will be back.Ciao.

The luxury car ( arranged by Fabrizio ) was waiting at the airport, our flight was 35 mins late but we were soon at the apartment. Fabrizio was there to greet us and to explain how things worked. The apartment was as advertised, it was very clean and well equipped.there was a friendly deli 25 metres away and when asked about local resteraunts, he recommended two that he used, both excellent. we used one each day. We were very close to Piazza Navonna, a beautiful place to relax with a drink, in fact we walked everywhere,it was that convieniently situated. We can only praise Fabrizio for the help he gave us when my passport and driving license were stolen, as for customer service he was fantastic, nothing to much trouble. I would recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax after seeing the superb city of Rome. We will be back.Thank you Fabrizio.

Perfect Location

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 4 days in early February. The location couldn't have been more perfect, we made our way around the whole of Rome from the Colosseum to the Vatican City by foot. We were close enough to everything, but not touristy, we felt like locals, everything we could have needed was very close including the gorgeous Piazza Navona. The value was outstanding as well. Remember that you have to make a trip up a ladder to go to bed. The apartment is well stocked (although the towels leave a little to be desired), and even has an espresso maker and espresso. Lots of good restaurants nearby (a list was not provided, perhaps the owner could add that as a service and make the apartment even better), and a supermarket.

got a taste of living the local life

My husband, my two sons and I had a great time in Rome. We enjoyed being around the corner to Piazza Navona. The location was fabulous and enjoyed the local stores, restaurants and vendors. The description was very accurate although we could not find this address on our own the first time. Glad that Signore Fabrezio met us.He really took pride in ownership and took the time to check everything and show us how it worked. Everything was clean and ready for us. The loft with 2 single beds was perfect for our sons. We would have prefered a bed over a sofa bed but overall it was comfortable. It was really nice to also have a safe available. The only thing we had issues was the shower. It is so small, my husband says that you can't change your mind in it! It is a challenge, but it is still functional. Overall we would recommend it for your next vacation!

Perfect location and host

This property was all it was described as being. Clean and welcoming. Host Fabrizio was most welcoming and his attention to providing basic provisions such as coffee, sugar, salt and olive oil was very much appreciated since we did not get this service in other similar locations in Florence and Venice. This makes Fabrizio a star amongst others! Despite the Studio being in a very lively area behind Piazza Navona, once inside, the noise is minimal. Weekends can be more lively but hey, you are on holidays not in a retirement home. Fabrizio's attention to our every request was a precious service especially when you do not speak the language and are in such a complex setting. He booked our car from the airport and also arranged our taxi from the studio to the train station. Any time we had a question he would respond almost immediately by e-mail. While the sleeping accomodations are good for 4 people, it is important to note that the main bed is in a loft with a lower ceiling. If you are closterphobic, you will want to sleep on the sofa bed. The shower is also very small which only required a bit of getting use to since the bathroom is a great size. The bonus for all of us was the capuccino machine. It provided us with the best fix and made our day. I would definitely recommend the studio and would stay there again without hesitation. Great job Fabrizio and you are a perfect and caring host. Fantastic Rome Apartment

This was an extremely efficient apartment that was truly a home-away-from-home. The location could not be better - walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Vatican, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. Immediately outside the apartment, there were cafes, restaurants, a corner store, a butcher shop, fruit market and a news stand. The apartment was extremely comfortable for the two of us and our toddler daughter during our 10 night stay. Fabrizio was a gracious host who was kind enough to make travel arrangements for us from the airport (first night) as well as to the port for our Mediterranean cruise (after our stay in Rome). The travel arrangements were reasonably priced and very professional - definitely a time saver and relieved any stress of doing it ourselves. Fabrizio was easily accessible via the cell phone that was provided and always responded promptly. We would highly recommend this property and, if we return to Rome in the future, will definitely book this property again.

This apartment on the 2nd floor is in a perfect location to see all the sights of Rome...very near Piazza Navona. The apartment is a living room, dining and kitchen combination. The living room sofa is a pull out double bed that is very comfortable. We didn't cook but the kitchen is well equipped. The small loft sleeps 2...there isn't much space up there but it worked out perfectly fine. The bathroom is nicely sized but the shower is small...not typical of USA shower stalls. The bathroom has a washing machine, drying rack and iron....very convenient. The owner, Fabrizio is very helpful while in the planning stage and while in Rome--excellent customer service. He suggested restaurants where we had delicious meals that were near the apartment...not tourist traps--Osteria della Gallo and da Vincenza. I would recommend this apartment .

A great place to stay in a great city

Our stay in Fabrizio's apartment was more than just a pleasure. It was a little oasis in a hot, crowded, tourist swollen city. If you must travel to this extraordinary city in July, like many families with school age children, there is no better place to stay than Fabrizio's apartment on Della Pace. It's location is a stones throw from Piazza Navona, yet it is peaceful and quiet. Fabrizio is delightful and very helpful. He even secured our transportation to the airport. His recommendations were spot on for everything from restaurants and gellato to the best time to visit the Vatican. His apartment is well appointed, clean, and ample enough for two adults and two children. The A/C was a godsend after a full day of siteseeing under the hot sun. There really are no compliants that I could lodge as it may have been our best accomodations during a three week trip through Europe. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. We'll definitely go back to the apartment on Della Pace, but not in the summer.

Excellent location in the middle of everything

My family and I stayed here in May and this is an absolutely perfect location if you want to be in the middle of everything. My wife and 2 kids (ages 3 and 10) had a great time and found that we had very short walks (just a few blocks) to all the main sites. You will find a nice coffee house, and bar/restaurants all just outside the front door. Piazza Navona is only 2 blocks away! which is a great place to relax at night with or without kids. The owner is very kind willing to arrange the transportation to and from the airport...which I highly recommend you let him. It will make your trip that much easier. I would recommend him and this apartment to anybody - trust me this is an excellent location and you love the experience.

Fabulous Roman Host and apartment

We had a wonderful time in Rome and the rest of our visit which included Pompeii, Amalfi, Florence, Switzerland and Paris. Thank goodness we got out before the volcano blew! Toward the end of our trip we asked each other what was our favorite part and it was unanimously Rome – undoubtedly because we had a very comfortable apartment in a great location. The children loved having their own space in the loft. Location was wonderful-many restaurants in close proximity, easy walking distance to many historical sites. One of the items we missed most when we left was the espresso machine. That was a very nice touch. The other part was that you were genuinely interested in providing a wonderful experience and went above and beyond typical “hosts”.

A great place to stay

My wife and I were there for just four nights. But Fabrizio Welcomed us as if we were going to stay for a couple of weeks. He gave us detailed instructions on how to get to the apartment and was at the door waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment is in a perfect location right out side of the Piazza Novona. We were able to walk to all the attractions we could see in the 4 days we were there. We ended up cooking most of our meals at the apartment the kitchen is very well equipped with a very comfortable, spacious feel to the whole apartment. We can't wait to come back to Roma and stay in this apartment again. ~ Brian

Ideally located within a charming cafe quarter ,yet so central and very close to the Piazza Navona ( do visit the astonishing St. Agnes Church). This was our third trip to Rome in 18/12 and was certainly the best place we have stayed.The position could not be better...in the heart of Rome but on a quieter "crossroads" with the most fantastic cafe for breakfast..cafe and crostini!We walked everywhere from here as it so central.The apartment itself was superb,very modern and well equiped but in an old building with the most wonderful ceiling of beams.Fabrizio was a most excellent host. We shall certainly stay here again.

In January 2010, my wife and I spent two weeks in Rome staying in this flat. It was wonderfully located just a few blocks of Piazza Navona from which we walked to all the major spots in Rome (though bus transportation is very easily accessible). There is a fruit/vegetable market literally out of the front door of the building and across the street is the most delightful food market. Down the block was a butcher shop and a coffee shop/bakery that offered fresh pasteries by 7:15am. The kitchen in the flat was nicely stocked so that most nights we ate in (including full size refrigerator/stove/oven/microwave). The flat was very clean and smoke-free. Fabrizio was a wonderful host. He arranged a private car to provide direct transportation to and from DiVinci airport (about 100 euro total for both trips). He also provided very helpful instructions for taking day trips to Ostia and Pompeii. Since our cell phones did not work in Europe, he loaned us a phone to call him when needed. We have already recommended this flat to friends and colleagues. When we go to Rome again, we would definitely like to stay here.

My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for a week and it was perfect. It is on a tiny, charming piazza with fresh produce, a great deli, a newsstand, and delicious restaurants right out our door. We loved being in the Piazza Navona area. The apartment was just the right size for the two of us, very clean, with nice amenities. Fabrizio, the owner, helped with many details, even arranging car service for us to and from the airport. We will definitely stay here again when we are lucky enough to return!

We had a very lovely time when we stayed at this apartment near Piazza Navona in October. We've traveled through Italy several times before and could not have asked for a nicer host and better accommodations. Fantastic location right in the heart of Rome's historic center. Wow! What a fabulous host Fabrizio is! We stayed in 4 different places on our trip to Italy and this apartment was in a category all by itself. It was beautifully equipped for comfort and the kitchen had everything an avid cook could want, including an espresso machine with coffee! A great grocery store is across the street and a produce market is downstairs in the morning. We really felt like this was our neighborhood while in Rome. Fabrizio was so warm and welcoming and ensured we had a wonderful stay in Rome, including arranging our ride to the airport at a VERY early hour. Thank you so much, Fabrizio. We can't wait to return to Rome!

We enjoyed Studio della Pace as our "Home in Rome" Oct 8 thru Oct 11, 2009. The apartment is wonderful and thoughtfully equipped, but the best part is its host Fabrizio! Thorough, genuine, and KIND. He arranged our pick-up and drop-off; not to mention that he helped us recover my purse I left on the airport pick-up car!! Everything was still in it too! He made sure we knew how to get to any place we needed and that we knew how to work the espresso machine (and everything else)!! If anything could compare to Fabrizio it might be the location of this apartment. Everything you need for comfort (grocery, pharmacy, GELATO...)is literally right outside the front door. The bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk, but we could walk to most everything - Vatican, Spanish Steps, Venezia. Piazza Navona, also a less than 5 min walk, was one of the best passeggiata spots we enjoyed during our trip. Also, be sure to enjoy the line at Pizzeria da Baffetto (10 min walk); you'll be seated quickly and relish maybe the best pizza you've ever had. Also, we had a fabulous romantic night out at the courtyard-like resturant St. Lucia. Many times during our stay we noted that we could not have found a better place - thank you again Fabrizio; hope to make it back someday!

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Rome. With a high beamed ceiling and a modern kitchen, it was a beautiful blend of old and new, and very comfortable. We loved the exciting neighborhood right outside the door, and then came home to great sleeps in the very quiet apartment. Piazza Navona was the perfect location to stay in Rome....near all the major sights and quite the hub of activity! Fabrizio's charming flat was a classy, welcoming place to come home to after a day of exploring a beautiful city! The only bad part was having to leave!

Piazza Navona was by far our favorite piazza in Rome. There was always so much going on. I only wish we had more time to try all of the great restaurants in the area (we tried many). Thanks, Fabrizio, for providing us with such a great apartment so close to everything. Also thanks for arranging the pick up from our car drop-off point. It was worth it having the driver know the best way to the apartment (how he drove on some of those narrow roads beside the restaurant patios I'll never know). My wife and I (Una & Dave) were fortunate enough to stay at Fabrizio's apartment for 8 nights during October, 2009. Other than finding it a bit difficult to locate when we arrived (our lack of Italian sure didn't help us) we found it a fabulous place to call home during our visit. It is located roughly 100 meters from the Piazza Navona and the small neighborhood had absolutely everything we would need within a few steps (supermercado, internet/WiFi cafe, many nice eateries, etc.). The apartment itself was very clean and well equipped. We actually cooked our own (very bad) imitations of Italian cuisine a couple of times and found everything we needed had been provided by Fabrizio including a selection of Italian wines he had hand picked. I'd recommend this place without hesitation with only one slight advisory - getting upstairs to the sleeping area is not recommended for those not in decent physical condition. If you are looking for a great place to stay with a perfect central location and a fabulous, attentive host don't hesitate to book this little gem. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We stayed at the apartment from Sep 17-20, 2009. There were 3 adults that stayed in this apartment and I would highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay in an amazing location. The photos of the apartment are very accurate and Fabrizio is a great host. Fabrizio responded to all of our e-mails in a timely fashion, arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport and lent us a cell phone to use as well as maps & guidebooks! There was also a selection of Italian wines that we could taste. We have wonderful memories of our in Rome. Thank-you so much Fabrizio!!

Location, Location, Location! Right in the Centro Historico, staying here really highlighted Rome as a walking city: everything seemed only a short stroll away. Fabrizio is also the consummate host. With impeccable attention to detail he facilitated almost every aspect of our stay. Would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We spent a week at the apartment and had a great time. It is very conveniently positioned to local food stores for easy living supplies. The location next to Piazza Navone is outstanding. You live in the heart of Rome and are easy walking distance to all the major attractions. Fabrizzio is a great host and very accommodating to your needs. We thoroughly recommend it

In the heat of Summer 2009, we were so glad to be central. The apartment is basically one large room cleverly divided into bathroom/kitchen/lounge/dining room AND bedroom. Our oldest Loved the mezzanine! We kept motivated in the heat with ice creams; the Gelateria del Teatro around the corner is WONDERFUL, you can watch them make Gelato through the window. This apartment is well set-up and maintained - we could make our own espresso's in the mornings! When it was too hot to walk, we took the bus... which was a very easy way of getting around. Finding our way home was always easy because Piazza Navona is so close, it is a good orientation point.

Great Location! In the heart of old Rome within walking distance of major sites, restaurants, grocery stores. Easy access to bus routes to take you to the Colosseum, Borghese Gallery, etc. Had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this apartment for its amenities and fabulous location. Ciao Fabrizio, Location location location!!! We really enjoyed our stay at Della Pace. With the exception of the colloseum we were able to walk to all the sites easily. Thank you for the orientation and the information on buses. Also we ate twice at Francescos and it was great. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the kids enjoyed the adventure of sleeping in the loft. Also the taxi you ordered to take us to the airport was there when we needed him. Lots of great places to have coffee right around the corner from Piazza Navona if you dont want to pay Piazza prices. Bonus for Pittsburgh Steeler fans; the Steeler bar is just around the corner from the apartment. Sincerely Conner and Lene Abel

Ciao Fabrizio! We just loved our 3 nights in Studio della Pace. It's perfectly located to see everything Rome has to offer - most attractions are within easy walking distance. The alimentari just across the road was really handy, we could walk just a few steps to many great eating places and L'Emporio alla Pace, with its super-friendly staff, was a great place to sip wine or coffee and watch the world go by. The level of hospitality you showed us was just wonderful, particularly the 'induction' to the apartment when we arrived. Studio della Pace is extremely well equipped and we were very happy with its amenities - especially the espresso machine :-) The loft bedroom was an absolute delight - so cosy and romantic. A real home-away-from-home and a wonderful way to 'live' in Rome for a short time! We are recommending your apartment to our friends and families and we certainly hope to return ourselves one day!
