Do you want to get away and unwind from the hustle and bustle? This is the place for you.....a 1 1/2 acre bay front house with unbelievable views and plenty of elbow room. You will especially like the pier for fishing, crabbing, boating or swimming, or end the day with a glass of wine and the most beautiful sunsets in the world. You will love the funky, eclectic house with original tongue and groove ceilings, and the character of "Old Florida". There is plenty of room to park your RV, your boats, your cars, your jet skis or whatever you want to bring.
You will only be minutes from the award winning beaches of South Walton to include Sandestin, Seaside, Grayton, Destin and Rosemary Beach. There is great shopping at the Silver Sands Outlet Mall in Sandestin. We really recommend eating the crab cakes at The Red Bar which is in Grayton Beach. The great thing about Twelve Oaks on the Bay is that it is on the north side of the bay which is peaceful and tranquil, but you are only minutes away from beaches, water parks, shopping and some great restaurants.

My husband and I grew up near the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile, Alabama. As we lived around the world, we always knew we wanted to end up on the bay and near the Gulf. We would go back to visit as often as we could. We found Twelve Oaks on the Bay in Freeport, Florida, a forgotten paradise. The bay views and sunsets are gorgeous. Why the Owner Chose Freeport
We knew when we drove down the driveway and saw the huge Oak trees draped with Spanish moss that overlooked the Choctawhatchee Bay, we were home. We walked down to the bay to find the lapping waves and afternoon sunset mesmerizing. The 1950's Florida cottage, with the tongue and groove ceilings and other nostalgic features had the laid back atmosphere we were looking for. The huge lot gave us plenty of room to feel unhurried and relaxed. We were only minutes from the hustle and bustle of the beaches of South Walton, but could come home to peace and quiet.
The Unique Benefits of this Bay Front House
Fishing, crabbing, boating, skiing, wake boarding, bird watching, dolphin watching and relaxing are but a few of the wonderful activities at Twelve Oaks on the Bay. There are benches at the end of the pier which is a great place for your morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine. There is a boat launch on Bayloop Road. Some very interesting ships and boats pass by on their way up the bayou. In the cottage, you will find a fully stocked kitchen, wood burning stove, Florida room with wonderful views, a jacuzzi bath tub, and a fenced in yard for small pets. There is plenty of room to park your cars and boats.

I have told everybody about how much fun you guys had at the Mexican Restaurant south of the bridge. I think we need you guys to teach us how to have a good time!
