Why the Owner Chose Tamarindo
This 3 bedroom unit is incredible! It has a birds eye view of the waves on Playa Langosta so you know if the surf is good or not. I love the beach and this complex is located within easy walking distance (3 minutes) to Playa Langosta and only 10 minutes to Tamarindo, both excellent year round surfing, boogie boarding, and Stand Up Paddling beaches. There is horse riding, ATV riding, beach combing, kayaking, bird watching, Leather back Turtle egg laying to see, and so much more to do in this area.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The complex has its on site property management and is gated and secure with 24 hour security. We are in a private, upscale neighborhood close enough to walk to Tamarindo but far enough from the noise. This is a perfect unit for large families or friends or a couple wanting to get away from it all.

This condo is everything Renee said it would be. It had the most amazing views from both of the spacious balconies. You could see the most amazing sunrises and sunsets over the crystal clear ocean water. The condo was super roomy. Fitting 10 people was no problem at all because the beds were huge and the couch was definitely comfortable enough to sleep on. The condo came equipped with everything anyone would need for a week (washer/dryer, plates, bowls, blender, fridge, dishwasher, plenty of outlets, tons of towels). Also it was great to have the maid service come in during the middle of our stay to do our dishes, straighten up the condo and refill our toilet paper rolls. The pool located on the ground floor was absolutely gorgeous and the outdoor grill was amazing, it was huge! The only down side about the pool is that the condo complex casted shade over it for most of the day. However, that didn't stop us from swimming in it. The guys at the gate were super helpful. We didn't have a car for our stay so they were always willing to call us taxis or call our room when the pizzahut delivery girl was waiting downstairs. We were a group of students who studied abroad in Costa Rica previously, and were returning for a nice vacation. Playa Langosta is pretty quiet (not many shops or restaurants) but it had one of the most gorgeous beaches. It is a little rocky but it is probably a 5 minutes walk to the beach from the condo. We traveled into Tamarindo a lot for the nightlife, the board rentals and the restaurants. Visitors do not need a car to go to Tamarindo. It is a breathtaking walk about 15 minutes down the beach, or you can take the roads but they get a little crazy. A taxi ride is usually about $1 a person into Tamarindo, which is totally worth it after a long night of dancing. We took Tamarindo Shuttles from the Liberia Airport to Naxos Condos which cost us about $30 per person, roundtrip. This condo was gorgeous, becautiful decor, amazing views, great location; I don't think we had anything negative to say about it aside from the fact that we only got to stay there for one week :( We would definitely return ASAP. I would defintely return and recommend this condo for families, groups of friends and people who just love to relax and have a good time.
Owner response:Many clients ask if it is necessary to rent a car when staying at any of my units in Playa Langosta and this review really answers that question. However, if you are interested in visiting other beaches like Playa Negra or Flamingo than a car rental is recommended. If you walk towards the Langosta Resort when on the beach (to the left when entering Playa Langosta) you will be on the very long stretch of white sand that is all part of Playa Langosta. Just take care for when the tide comes in because the river is harder to cross. The nice thing about the shade on the pool is that after a long afternoon on the beach where there is very little shade a COOL pool is very refreshing! :) Pura vida, Renee Lurie

Our group of 9 stayed at Condo Vista Mar for 9 days earlier this month and it was a wonderful experience! The condo was clean and comfortable and the staff was really helpful and welcoming. With 9 adults I was a little worried about not having enough space but there was more than enough and we never felt cramped. We loved Playa Langosta as well! The beach was quiet and the water was SO warm! Everyone on our trip had an amazing time and we would definitely stay at Condo Vista Mar again!

This was by the far the most beautiful condo complex in the Tamarindo area. We were extremely comfortable during our stay and felt very safe on the property. The condo staff and management company employees were all more than accommodating. We will be requesting the same unit during our future vacations to Costa Rica.
