We just returned from our stay at Villamare and had a wonderful time. This unit was just as described and had a great view. The grills were a nice plus. We locked ourselves out of the unit and Kevin and Laura made themselves available to help us even though it was a holiday weekend. We were about to call a locksmith and pay their hefty fees but Kevin called us and gave us the number to his property maintenance person, John. John and his wife came right away and were extremely friendly. Couldn't ask for better service. I would recommend working with Kevin and his staff anytime.

Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Fabulous vacation getaway!

We stayed here the week of Labor Day this year and had a wonderful Hilton Head vacation getaway. We've stayed at several other units in Villamare over the past few years, but this condo was unique in that both rooms in this unit had ocean views. We traveled with another couple, and it was so nice for both couples to be able to see the ocean from the balconies off their rooms. The unit was freshly painted and very well maintained. The decor was very comfortable and provided such a relaxing setting for a much needed vacation! I would highly recommend this unit

We have stayed at Villamare properties before but the views were not nearly as nice as this one. Fresh paint and new carpet were a bonus. The owner did inform us that new sofas had been ordered but were not there yet. Sofas were faded but not uncomfortable. The owner was very easy to deal with. Would definitely rent this unit again.

We just returned from Villamare and once again loved it. This is the second year in a row we rented this particular unit. The furnishings are very nice and comfortable. The view is great. We love the pool and grill areas. We definitely recommend this property.

This property has been poorly maintained and neglected. Only upgrades are granite tops and large TV. Otherwise, carpet is stained and worn/furniture is dated and frayed/large mildew spots on air diffusers/ceilings/showers. We would not recommend this property to anyone. The plumbing was not operating correctly.....this property needs a complete re-do. The pictures do not reflect whatsoever the condition of this unit; nor does the owner disclose the condition. Do not stay here if you want to have an enjoyable stay at Hilton Head.

Owner response:This was a disgruntled traveler from before they moved in. They attempted to low ball our asking price and we declined. When they arrived, they called us and we sent our onsite guy over to the unit to meet them. We offered a complete refund at the beginning of the stay and offered to find them another unit. They declined. We have had people in the unit each week in the summer. We had no other complaints. When they departed, we completely re-painted the unit and installed new carpet throughout. I do not understand the severity of this...with these people.
