The home has expansive views of the lake from all three levels. Lower level has private entrance, full kitchen and bath, and one bedroom with queen bed. Main level has custom cherry and granite kitchen, imported Mexican stained glass accents, guest bedroom and full bath. Dining room seats eight at main table and two at smaller game table with seashells under glass. Upper level has master bedroom with his and hers full bathrooms, expansive loft, and library nook. Gorgeous private sunroom off master bedroom. Stunning Mexican glass chandelier hangs from apex of dome. Natural custom hickory sweeping staircase between upper two levels.
In floor heating throughout, advanced air exchange system, DirectTV network and satellite internet access. DVD library on DVD changer on main level. We are John and Jen and live and work in Kansas City, MO. John grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA and Jen is from beautiful southwestern Kansas. John graduated from the University of Iowa in 1983 and the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1987. Jen graduated from St. Mary's College in Leavenworth, KS while she was in Federal Prison. They enjoy their blended family of six children in lovely Kansas City.
Why the Owner Chose Sheboygan
We initially rented the home for a family vacation in 2007. We fell in love with the unique architecture and the area in coastal Wisconsin. When we found out that the home was for sale, we jumped on the opportunity and closed within one month of our rental.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The home sits on the coast of beautiful Lake Michigan. The world class golf of Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run are only minutes from the home. Door County is a short day trip away, and many great outdoor activities abound near this area of Wisconsin. The people of Manitowoc are simply wonderfully friendly and trustworthy.
