This beautiful condo in paradise was perfect for my husband and I. Right across the street from the beach and just blocks from several shopping centers and restaurants. We hope to come back next year!

This condo was in the perfect location - walk across the street to the beautiful beach, and drive 5 minutes to Destin Commons and many other stores. The condo also had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The condo was clean, and it's in a great location. Decent coffee shop a block away with bike rentals and mopeds. 1 mile away is bass pro shop and numerous shops; probably 4020 :)

The location of this site is excellent. Feet away from the pool (which was empty most days so we had it completely to ourselves) and a mere walk across the street for the beach. The back door makes it an even shorter walk to the beach. The unit was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely rebook for our next stay. It is also very conveniently located to Hwy 98 which has everything you would need (shopping, dining, etc.).

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. The beach was PERFECT and directly across the street. You could walk out the back door and have your toes in the sand in 5 min. Condo was very tastefully decorated and super clean. Plenty of private parking, we could unload the car right in front of the condo door. The bathroom felt like a resort, very nice remodel (so nice that my wife is now making me remodel ours at home!). Having the washer and dryer there was fantastic, and there were plenty of places for everyone to sleep. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were ready to go right from the first night. Our only real complaint was that even though we were near the start of the season, it would have been nice to have the pool heated a bit. The water was so cold it was unuseable. Still, the hot tub was nice. We made it to the Harbor Walk, Harbor Docks, and the Crab Trap. Bought fresh fish at Destin Ice, and made it to the Hard Rock Cafe in the Destin Commons. Everything was so easy to get to. There was a scooter rental a block away from the condo and a very nice deli right next to that. There was a very well maintained walking path that you could take anywhere up and down the beach. You had your choice of local flavor, or familiar places. If you have the time, take a drive down 30-A. We saw the stickers on several cars there and decided to check it out. We made it to the town of Seaside which we are told was the inspiration for the town in the Truman Show. We absolutely loved walking around the downtown area and had lunch at Pickles. Our son is only 8 months for this trip, but i'm sure all the go cart tracks, mini golf, water park, and bungee jump places will be welcome distractions as he gets older. Wonderful vacation. The owners of the condo were very responsive and welcoming and an absolute pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back to the Carribean Dunes for our next Florida vacation!

Wonderful Vacation in Destin!

This was our first trip to Destin. It was absolutely fabulous. We were so excited to get to the condo and it was just as fabulous. It is in a wonderful location - just a very short distance to the beach. It was nice having our own access to the beach. The condo is fully equipped with everything. There is every appliance, utensil, dish you will ever need in the kitchen. It is also beautiful! The king size bed in the master bedroom is also very nice. The washer/dryer in the unit made things really easy and you can wash your beach towels daily. :-) The pool is very nice and the hot tub is great in the evenings. We forgot our beach chairs and it was nice to have some in the storage box on the patio. We loved them and ended up buying some similar while we were there. The area is so nice and awesome where the unit is located. It is quiet and very relaxing. There is a quaint little restaurant on the next block. We also rented our jet ski and kayak just one block from the unit. Everything is right in this area. The beaches and the sand are amazing! It is almost better than Hawaii or at least a very close second! :-) We were at the beach everyday and we saw dolphins swimming by - close enough to get great pictures. When we went kayaking very close to the shore, there were lots and lots of dolphins swimming along with us. It is truly an amazing sight. :-) We had a wonderful time in Destin. We would highly recommend the following restaurants: Back Porch, Caio Bella, McGuire's,Old Bay Steamer (Okaloosa Island) and even the Hard Rock Cafe. We loved the sports place for kids called The Track. The HarborView Village was really nice. They have great dolphin cruises and sunset cruises. The Beach Zone has really great air-brushed t-shirts you can design. We enjoyed this too. We had a ton of fun. Zachary and Paula - thank you so much for opening your 2nd home to us. We had such a wonderful time. We really didn't want to leave. I appreciate you guys being so easy to work with and for all of your kindess. We look forward to returning this summer!!! :-)

What a wonderful experience!!!! We loved #109 across the street from the beach. The condo was very clean, comfy, and cozy! The kids LOVED the bunk beds, the beach and the lizards on the patio. We loved the private beach access, the A/C in the condo, the tile floors, and all the amenities within walking distance. Thank you so much for all the little extras you do to make your second home feel like our second home!!!!

We really enjoyed staying at your condo. This is the best kept secret in all of Destin. The condo was in great shape and very clean. The beach is very close and the pool area is just perfect. The water really is turqoise, the sand is like powder and this condo is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and even has crab buckets and nets for the nature lovers. Also, the view from the porch is nice. You get to watch the locals walk their dogs and ride their bikes and see the beautiful ocean in the background.

We have vacationed for several years at Destin and have stayed in several different places. We especially liked Carribean Dunes. Convenient location, easy access to beach and pool,not noisy or crowded. Ground level porch convenient to store beach supplies. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect family vacation spot.

We just want to say what a great time we had in Destin again this year! The condo was beautiful - we loved the new tile, paint and upgrades (since 2 years ago)! Of course, the weather was beautiful (despite Katrina moving thru the week before) and the neighborhood was just as quiet and beautiful as we remembered. Thank you Zach and Paula for such a wonderful renting experience - again! We will be sure to recommend your condo to all of our friends and family. Wow! What an awesome condo and location in Destin. Even though Hurricane Dennis had come thru just 2 weeks before, things were still in good shape. Alot of seawood the first couple of days in the water, but that cleared up and was so beautiful! I would recommend the McCorkle's condo to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Destin. We had a great time, deep sea fishing, parasailing, jet ski's, rented a scooter, an electric small cart, did go carts. Plenty to do. This was our second trip to Destin, and this by far was a much nicer place to stay than our first trip down. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful condo with our family!

We were surfing the internet for a place to stay when we went to Florida on vacation and happened upon Zach and Paula's #109 Caribbean Dunes vacation rental. From the first conversation, Zach was very friendly and the business end of our experience was handled very professionally. The website with all the pictures was wonderful but arriving at the condo and seeing it in person was such a treat for us. The pride of ownership is evident throughout every room and every room is tastefully decorated. Zach and Paula have gone to great lengths to see that their guests have everything they need to have an enjoyable stay in their home away from home. Our every need was met. A walk, first to the coffeeshop then on to the beautiful beach in the morning was a wonderful way to start our day. (By the way, everyone was so friendly!)The clean, warm hottub and swimming pool in the afternoon in a relaxing atmosphere was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. In the evening it was back to the beach to watch the sunset - each one different and beautiful! A dinner at the Crab Trap, or at Fudpuckers with their famous "fried pickles" is a dining experience for sure. Then back to the comfortable accomodations of #109 for a relaxing evening of watching movies or playing games. We arrived in mid January and stayed for a week. One afternoon while we were in Destin, we went out on a Dolphin Cruise. The dolphins certainly entertained us and it was a wonderful experience. We had a great week of relaxation and we are looking forward to our return to #109 next year. Thank you Zach and Paula for your "gift of hospitality"!

We had an amazing time at Caribbean Dunes in the McCorkle's condo. It was fantastic. My 5 year old loved the bunk beds. I wasn't so happy (she made me sleep on the top bunk). However, she had a blast. The pool is only steps away and the ocean was right across the street. Great, great, great location. Again, thanks to the McCorkles for a lovely time.

Your condo was wonderful! We had a view of the ocean from the porch and were within steps of the beach & pool. Our girls liked the bunk beds in the hall and we were able to put three there to sleep. The porch was a great place to people watch. Our favorite restaurant was The Crab Trap; the girls played on the playset on the beach and we enjoyed a tropical beverage with them. Try the Crystal Beach Grouper, it was delicious! Also, go to The Donut Hole in Santa Rosa on 98. A little pricy but portions are huge (as was the crowd) but the breakfast was amazing! And don't miss Seaside-make the trip, it's well worth it. Thanks Zach and Paula for a memorable vacation.

We stayed at Caribbean Dunes #109 from March 27-April 3. We had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed the condo. It is everything they say it is and more. The kids especially loved the built in bunk beds in the hallway! I was very pleased with the price for how nice it is! The pool is beautiful, and the ocean is just across the street. The beach has soft powdery sand and was not crowded. There are many things to do in the area, and there is every restaurant imaginable. There is also many great places to shop. When we come back to Destin we will definately stay here again!

We visited Carribean Dunes #109 in September. We absolutely loved the condo and the location. The condo is nicely decorated. We loved the furniture. We also loved how the condo was stocked with plenty of necessary supplies. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking out at the gulf. It could not get much better then that. Just got back from a wonderful week in Destin with our 2 daughters and their families. We had great weather with the exception of one rainy afternoon. This condo is great and worked really well for our family. Would encourage anyone to go to Destin if you haven't--the beaches are beautiful and lots of good restaurants. Hope to go back next year for another fun filled week.

Carribean Dunes #109 was a great place for our vacation this year! We enjoyed being able to park right outside the door, walk a couple of steps to the pool and a couple more to the beautiful beach! The place is as pretty as it is in the pictures, very clean and comfortable. It was so convenient to shopping, restaurants and everything! We would definately recommend it to anyone! Destin is a beautiful town with just about anything you want to do right there! McGuires Irish Pub and Osaka Japanese Restaurant (brand new on Hwy. 98) were our favorite places to eat. They are also building a new mall opening in November just a few blocks from the condo! We are already planning on returning next year and plan on staying in #109! Our time in Destin was wonderful and the condo was absolutely gorgeous! All the amenities inside the condo were such an added plus. We were able to make our own frozen drinks and slushes with your blender and pack them for the beach. With such a short walk to the beautiful white sandy beach, we could (and did!) make the trip many times to refill our frozen delights, or to grab a quick bite of lunch. So nice not to have to haul a huge cooler out with us, and with six people, that would have been a chore! We recommended friends to Condo #109, they went and were also extremely impressed with it and couldn't get over that is was as great as we said!! We definitely wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on our next trip to Destin. Thanks again Zach and Paula, you have an amazing 'home away from home'!!

The McCorkle's condominium was perfect for our family of five. The two younger children thought the built in bunk beds were really neat. The unit was roomy enough that even with five we never felt cramped, and everyone could enjoy their own personal space. My wife could not get over the amenities provided in terms of kitchenware and household supplies. And clean. The washer and dryer were an added bonus. It was great to be able to walk back and forth to the beach everyday. (No sand in the car). Destin is a beautiful beach. Clean white sand, clear green water, and the hot Florida sun. The "Back Porch" and "Pompano Joe's" were great for seafood. The kids enjoyed the old fashioned diner on US 98 and Airport Road. The Destin Harbor is pretty neat, and provides boat rides or charters. There's lots of good shopping spots in town for the ladies. And, plenty other points of interest within an hours drive should you choose not to spend all of your time soaking up the rays. Our thanks to our gracious hosts whose home away from home truly enhanced our vacation experience.

The McCorkles' condominium was a very pleasant place to stay. We are anticipating the birth of our first child in August, so the accomodations in the Caribbean Dunes #109 was perfect for someone just wanting to put their feet up, enjoy the ocean, or just lay by the pool (we did all three)! It is a very family oriented place, so it was peaceful, giving anyone a chance to enjoy the beauty of God's wonderful creation. We had such a wonderful time staying in Destin at this condo!! The condo was absolutely perfect for our family. Our daughter loved the bunk beds and it really helped to have two entries to the bathroom. What a great location it is to the beach, pool, and also being on the first floor. We enjoyed our time at the beach, pool and condo so much that we didn't even do some of the extra activities we had planned to do. We would recommend staying there to anyone and can't wait to go back again!

We couldn't have been more pleased with the condo, the location and the quality of service from the McCorkles. The condo is beautifully decorated and the new furntiture is awesome. Perfect for the family vacation. The kid's loved the bunk beds and we were never disappointed. You have a partial view of the gulf and the beach is a short 25 or so foot steps away! Destin is beautiful if you have never been there, but the features of this condo made it a great place to stay even if the weather had turned bad. We will be back again and again
