Our perfect beach house is a 3-story, 3000 square foot, single family home just 3 houses from the beautiful, famous Del Mar beach on 25th St. An ideal location with convenient beach access and just a short walk from Powerhouse Park (Great for kids!), beachfront restaurants, and the Del Mar Racetrack. The house is nicely furnished and has a very warm, cozy and beachy feel. If you know this area of Del Mar, then you know that it is a flat walk to the beach with no main streets to cross.
The main living areas are on the 2nd floor to take advantage of the ocean views. On the 1st floor you will find the entry hall, a bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with two twin beds, a bathroom with tub and shower, the garage, and a large outdoor patio with spa. (There is a guest house on the premises which is rented separately.) The 2nd floor has the living room (with fireplace), dining room, kitchen, outdoor deck, and the master bedroom suite with a king bed, office area, sitting area, and large bathroom with 2 sinks, large tub, separate shower and walk-in closet. The 2nd floor deck has a BBQ, dining table with 6 chairs, 2 bar stools, a passthrough to the kitchen, and good views towards the beach. There is also a 3rd floor room facing the ocean with a large couch, delightful views, and another office area where you can attempt to get some work done. High-speed wireless Internet access throughout.
We have plenty of beach towels, chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and the like. And a warm outdoor shower and spa so that you can leave the beach outside.
