I have stayed at the Hyatt Mountain lodge in the summer and winter, and in all honesty, the best kept secret is Beaver Creek in the summer. The HML is located steps away from the shops, the ice skating rink, the chair lift, and walking/biking paths, yet it is quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended summer vacation spot with so much to do in the area. The lodge is clean, they keep updating the decor, the service is excellent and it comes with free breakfast every morning! Run, don't walk, and plan your next vacation here, it will not disappoint.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

The Hyatt Mountain Lodge staff, especially the consierge, could not have been more helpful. The consierge arranged show tickets and recommended a ski rental shop before our arrival and dinner reservations after we checked in. The unit was well equipped, even the kitchen! We cooked everyday and did not lack for any utensils or equipment. At first we were not sure about the "no ski equipment" in the lobby or units. However, we came to like keeping our skis, boots, poles, and helmets at the ski shop. The rooms and lobby were noticeably quieter due the the policy! Also, we loved the outdoor hot tubs. Wonderful!
