    • This is a great, safe and central New York apartment. It is nicely furnished, and everything you could possibly need is on your doorstep. Don't miss the Bread Factory round the corner, soup is just like homemade! Sue, the owner is a pleasure to meet and I have recommended the apartment to all my friends. Helen, Dublin, Ireland

    • My wife and I have both visited New York for years, but this was out first apartment rental. We loved it - the apartment allowed us to live like locals, and offered the privacy, freedom and flexibility we sometimes miss with hotels. The three flights of stairs provided some much-needed exercise, and the destination was worth it - a quiet, intimate apartment with relaxing courtyard views. Sue's service was also exceptional, and her local recommendations were superb. Highly recommended!

    • Sue’s apartment was lovely from start to finish! - a perfect slice of a real New Yorkers lifestyle. Sue was super helpful and friendly, meeting us when we arrived and making it easy for us to feel at home and comfortable in the apartment. We were delighted to see the super cute black and white tiled kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, milk and a few other essentials. As well as hair dryer, shampoo etc in the bathroom. The location was terrific, close to all you could need including the Park and not too far to Times Square, we walked all over the neighborhood, feeling safe the whole time and also feeling like real locals! The Subway was on the corner and cabs were also really easy to hail. My sister and I loved it and will certainly be contacting Sue when we next head to NYC. Trudi Melbourne Australia

    • This is a great way to experience NYC! Sue arrived to warmly greet us just as we got out of our cab. She stayed with us until we had a full tour and all of our questions were answered. We felt right at home immediately. The apartment gives you the breathing room that a hotel just can't. Although we ate out most meals, we were able to stock the kitchen with comfort snack and breakfast foods and beverages. What a great location! We walked to fabulous shopping and strolled Central Park on the way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The subway, when needed, is really only a block away and it is the express train. Getting to Wall Street or even Brooklyn is a snap. Did I mention how quiet is there? I am super sensitive to city noise as I live in the country, but I was not disturbed once. Sue stressed that it is a third floor walk-up and it left me breathing hard more than once. No wonder all the New Yorkers are thin. My advice, don't use a giant suitcase (as we did) and you will be fine. All in all, we liked the apartment, loved the location, and loved Sue. You won't be disappointed.

    • LOVED our NYC apt - thanks to Sue! We have used VRBO a number of times and Sue is the absolute best homeowner ever. I referred OK friends who booked immediately, and we are planning a return vist. The apt has a great location, very comfy qn bed, and plenty of room for 3 adults. Sue was a wealth of info with great advice, plus a genuinely nice woman. We will never stay anywhere else when we come to the Big Apple - THANKS SUE!!!

    • This apartment has an excellent location. We were able to walk or take the subway to all of the museums and only took one cab all week - to Lincoln Center - because we were dressed nicely for the ballet. Sue was very helpful in every aspect of our trip. The apartment was quiet and we enjoyed the neighborhood. We dined at Brio twice, and another neighborhood restaurant on a different evening. The Yogurt shop on Lexington was to die for. All in all, a wonderful visit to the "Big Apple" and we would definitely do it again.
