We had a most amazing week in this tropical paradise. The condo has everything we could possibly need. We will miss meals on the lanai, watching whales breach offshore, schools of dolphins parade by, and relaxed humans ambling down the beach below. We enjoyed snorkeling with turtles at Black Rock and just down the beach at Airport Park. A journey up the rugged northern tip of the island was filled with spectacular views, some nice hikes (the blowhole was impressive) and what is reportedly the best banana bread. We cooked in a lot, but highlights were two delicious meals at Mala and a fun lunch at Sea House in Napili. Thank you, Kathy and David, for sharing your comfortable and so well-equipped home with us. We hope to come back some day!

Mahalo! We loved spending a week in your beautiful condo. Your daughter's artwork is amazing! We loved the having coffee on the lanai every morning and watching the whales jump. Enjoyed grilling fish and steaks and shrimp on the grills by the pool. Whale watching and kayak and snorkel tours were awesome. We can't wait to come back. George & Lucinda. Loved the furnishings, wonderful weather, seeing all the whales right outside the window. The wealth of Maui information in your "Guestbook" and other books in the condo was most helpful. It has been a few years since we we were here and a refresher was in order. Fortunately our Maui visit doesn't come to an complete end since we will be moving into your other Mahana condo #818 for a second week on the island!

Mahalo! Our stay was nothing short of wonderful. Watching the colors of the sky and water from your wall of windows and beach-front lanai has made for memorable pictures forever. Maui has been full of fun for all of us. And when the fun was over, we were able to return "home" to 819. Thanks for thinking of so many items that made our stay worry-free (fully equipped kitchen coolers, beach towels, beach chairs, etc.). When we return (notice not "if"), we will be sure to book with you at the Mahana.

Another day in Paradise! Thank you for opening such a gorgeous and inviting place - hope to return soon! After several visits to Maui, I think this one was my favorite - it was quieter than in condos near Whaler's Village but close to everything we wanted. Spent a lot of time at the beach and pool and we had lovely meals out too, but what was heavenly was waking to the sound of the ocean and the view was the best of all.

We enjoyed your beautiful home from the moment we arrived. It was more awesome than the online pictures portrayed and all the little extras were a nice surprise - like your wonderfully stocked kitchen. Since we had most of our meals from the lanai, while enjoying the gorgeous views, we really used the kitchen. The only thing more we could ask for would be one more week. Our wonderful week has come to an end. Everything was perfect at your condo - from the beautiful artwork and furniture to the view. And the whales were amazing. We saw whales from the lanai every day - they were less than 100 yards away. A mom and her calf and then another whale. It has been a long time since we've been in Hawaii. This is our 4th trip, but it is by far the best one ever and we owe it all to your relaxing and beautiful "home away from home." We plan on returning next year. My sister and I just returned home from your wonderful stay at your condo on Kaanapali Beach. Your condo was everything I thought it would be and more. Your condo was clean and comfortable, and your corner view and lanai was so beautiful to look from that no one really needs to go outside to enjoy nature's beauty. The day before our leave we got to see a beautiful rainbow over the mountains in the back. It never rained once while we were there for the whole10 days of our stay...only misted a bit. I loved jogging on the beach walk....what a view while jogging! I will miss the very fresh air there along with the beautiful sceneries. We both enjoyed eating at the Aloha Mixed Plate in Lahaina...the food was delicious and the cost very reasonable. While in Lahaina, we also visited the Jodo Missonary near the beach....there is a large buddha statue there and a graveyard across the street. We also enjoyed the visit to Napili Bay Beach. We had a wonderful time #819! We have been coming to the Mahana for many years and your unit is definitely one of the nicest! Watching the whales breach over morning coffee was great! This was our first experience with VRBO, and although I was a bit nervous about going this route, I have to say it was wonderful experience! The owners were quick to answer questions/concerns. The condo was absoultely beautiful. Even though we have stayed at the Mahana for the last 10-15 years, this was by far one of my favorite trips. The whales were stunning to watch - I couldnt believe some of the whale breaching we saw! The condo's interior was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this property, or other's by this owner, to anyone. Actually, I already have :) Thank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to visit your home!

The only thing missing was Santa arriving in a canoe! Ideal setting. Beautiful condo and great memories for our 12 year old son who couldn't be pried away from the beach. The whales were spectacular! We also loved the new Dukes beach house restaurant within walking distance. Christmas eve service was incredible with traditional hula, Tongan chorale and a minister who did sing along gitar. We had a great stay on Maui this week! The condo and the views it supplied were beautiful! We spent loads of time beach hopping and all really enjoyed the relaxing island atmosphere. We had an amazing snorkeling adventure with Ocean Riders that took us all the way around the island of Lanai. The tour guides caught an octopus and we got to touch its soft skin and sticky suction cups (so cool!). All in all it was a vacation to remember!, Rick & Viki, Colorado.

We had so much fun staying here. The beaches were amazing and our whole family had a blast! Lots of relaxing on the circular sofa and that wonderful white leather chair! What a fantastic place you have here! We had 2 amazing weeks in this paradise! It was our first time to Hawaii but won't be our last. We had a blast! What a wonderful condo this is. The scenery and whale watching are phenomenal. We were fortunate in that we saw sea turtles swimming below as well. On top of this, a monk seal made her home nearby while we were here! Everyone here has been so nice and friendly. We have enjoyed ourselves tremendously and do hope to come back in a year or two.
