Living in our home, not just rental property. Cathedral ceiling, beautiful wood-burning stove with backup heat. Spacious loft (15 to 18 feet x 20 feet) provides sleeping and sitting area with tree-top and pond views in addition to the other two generously proportioned bedrooms and the great room, filled with arts and crafts.
Acoustically live for vivid musical enjoyment from stereo, radio/CD/tape. Other amenities include infrared light that turns on when you drive up at night, mud room with ski racks, weather radio, washer/dryer in main floor bathroom, dishwasher, microwave, electric coffee maker, blender, bread machine, hot air corn popper, matching plates, flatware, glasses, etc.
Location of house functions like the hub of a wheel, allowing easy access to Jiminy Peak (10 miles), Brodie Mt., Williamstown Theatre, the Clark and MassMoCA, Tanglewood and other Berkshire and Vermont attractions (and Saratoga Performing Arts Center and racetrack over one hour) as well as Albany train/airport and Pittsfield bus.
About 140 miles, two and a half hours from Upper West Side of NYC. House and deck on several levels so not suitable for very young children or those who have difficulty with stairs. We want you to be happy and safe staying in our home!
