Our place is a wonderful light filled condo near San Francisco's Japantown and the exciting Fillmore Jazz District. Close to major San Francisco bus lines for fast and easy access to the entire city.
The condo has been completely redecorated. It has 17 windows making it bright and light. There is a private 7' X 14' deck off the living room and another deck off the kitchen. The kitchen is wonderful to use - with a side-by-side refrigerator, newer gas stove, dishwasher and microwave. Bath towels and bed linens, blankets etc. are provided. All utilities such as gas, electric, water and garbage are included. No need to pack your laptop as we have a MAC computer with WiFi in the small bedroom for your use.
Located in a special 4 unit building with wonderful neighbors. An enclosed one car garage with auto opener is included with the rental. There is also plenty of street parking available for your guests.
This is a very special San Francisco space.

Why the Owner Chose Japantown
In 1983, we bought the entire building at 1301 - 1307 Scott Street in San Francisco. We proceeded to go through each of the 4 units and completely remodel them. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to live in #1305. In 2004 we started the process of converting the building to condos and in 2006 we sold 3 of the 4 units to wonderful people - all of whom still live in the building. We retained ownership of our unit - #1305. This is the condo that is listed on VRBO for short-term rental.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
One of the nicest things about our place is the light. We have over 17 windows. The condo is over 1100 square feet (103 square meters). Another benefit is that we provide and enclosed parking garage with our rental. But the best way to get a feel for our place is to read the various comments made by prior guests at the online Guest Book on our VRBO web site.
The newly emodeled Safeway grocery store and the famous Yoshi's Jaz Club are located within two blocks of our place

We are David Gaskin and Phil McPherson. The 1305 Scott Street condo in San Francisco was our home for over 24 years. We loved living there but decided to move across the San Francisco Bay to the city of Alameda in 2007. We're partners and have been together for over 34 years. As well as remodeling, reading, cooking and theater, we love to travel and have used VRBO ourselves many times to find a vacation rental. The picture of us was taken on the deck, off the living room at 1305 Scott St. David is on the left with the bald head, Phil is on the right with the cocktail!
