This private and cozy cabin is located on Barren River Lake with easy access to the water. The cabin offers privacy on a dead end road and adjoins the Baileys Point Recreation Area. It offers a public boat ramp nearby, which is less than a half mile away. The park that adjoins the property offers a well-groomed, two mile, hiking trail, perfect area for riding bikes, along with a playground and picnic area. There is a country store close by for any last minute necessities.
The cabin is set up as a single family unit with a full basement. The top floor is the main living quarters with a large picture window over looking the lake only a few feet away. There is a private open deck as well as a screened in deck area which also overlooks the water. The open deck is equipped with a picnic table and deck seating for a full view of the breathtaking surroundings and lake.
The kitchen is very well laid out with all appliances in easy reach. In season, wood is provided for the woodburning fireplace in the dining room along with plenty of seating for that warm, restful gathering of friends and family. A queen bed, full bed, and a queen size hide-a-bed are provided for our guests. Limit (6) guests.
The full walkout basement offers an area with a washer and dryer. Also, the walkout basement could be used for rainy day activities. Directly outside the basement is a porch swing with full view of the lake.

Wow...how it has changed here. We used to rent this cabin b4 added to, from previous owners, Don & Sharon. Many couple w/ends, + girl week-ends spent here, with wonderful memories. We really miss the quick getaway, as it was only 18 mi. from our home, but great to go to! We now have transferred to Lexington, so not down nearly as often as we would like. Was great to stumble upon.....and take the trip down memory lane.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This was one of the best vacations we had.the cabin was gorges,and very clean,the price was so reasonable for what we got. a lot.it was our 18th anaversery and the owners had a lovely frut bowl for us,and the bowl was hand painted,and i love it.they are very nice people.this is a great place for a vacation.very peaceful. we will go there again for sure.Thank you to the owners.
