    • When our plans were first made to spend 4 months away from home and family I was a bit unsure that I would be able to do it without making at least one trip home during our stay. Well, the thought never entered my mind once we got here. This house has every convenience and is the epitome of the Keys and relaxation. Our days were as busy as we wanted them to be and just staying home for the day was fun. Thanks so much for a most wonderful winter in your beautiful home. It has been so much fun seeing the lush greenery come back to life after "Wilma" destroyed so much of the landscaping. Mother Nature and the Florida weather has been miraculous to the restoration of the beautiful plants on your property. We have had a ball.

    • March 2004 We really enjoyed the "Oasis" and had a wonderful time. Your house is so comfortable, we felt right at home in no time. We quickly adapted to the "local" lifestyle even though we are use to life in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. We loved going to the Flea Market on the weekends and Bahai Honda Beach. We are looking forwood to our visit here again next year.

    • It was our first time down here to the keys and we had so much fun celebrating the 25th year of Fantasy Fest. This was an outrageous, wild, wacky & wonderful revelry! An amazing experience! You have an extremely beautiful home! A true tropical delight! And a great home for entertaining; inside and out. "The Oasis" is a large, airy home that is both gorgeous and comfortable! We especially loved the glider and seating for 6+ in the screened in porch that over looks the canal. Your covered patio area is idal too. It is surrounded by lush gardens, exotic plantings for privacy, a waterfall for atmosphere, the outside tv for watching the game (we thought we had a chance, but the Red Sox lost), a stereo for soft music, and a hammock for star gazing. "The Oasis" is Paradise!

    • Absolutely Beautiful! We arrived quite late in the evening but as we pulled into the carport the sensor lighting switched on and gave us our first glimpse of "The Oasis". Cacti and Palm trees surrounded us. The sounds of the tree frogs and the wind in the palms starting to relax us after the 5+hr drive from Ft Lauderdale. As we entered the house my attention was attracted to the moon reflecting off the canal through what appeared to be a wall of glass. Upon closer inspection I realized that the glass wall almost completely slides away and opens to a large screened porch. Adding additional size to the already expansive living area. After we were all settled and unpacked we headed for the kitchen and were delighted to find that it was perfectly equipped and proceeded to blend up some Pina Coladas. They seemed to have been created specifically for "The Oasis". I took my cocktail and headed for the porch swing where I slowly rocked away the remaining stiffness from the car ride. I must say I spent a large portion of my time at "The Oasis" on that swing. Morning tea, noon naps and evenings reading were just a few. First thing in the morning while everyone else was still resting I took a cup of tea and my camera and was off for Bahia Honda State Park where I took some beautiful pics of the sunrise. When I returned breakfast was in the making. Perfect! Deciding to rent a couple of boats for the day. We called around but since we had no reservations it wasn't looking good. Blue Water boat rentals was very helpful. They only had one boat available for the day but managed to get a boat from another marina delivered for us. The weather was great for our snorkeling trip to Looe Key. The visibility was awesome and the kids had a blast. The local grocery was very close and we stopped for BBQ supplies on the way home. The shaded patio and BBQ area was a nice escape after a day of boating in the sun. A group of Pilot Whales beached themselves on Big Pine while we were visiting. They were looking for volunteers to help care for them. My cousin who arrived before us was chosen but by the time we arrived they had everyone they needed. What an experience! During our stay we also drove to Key West and spent some time soaking up the island atmosphere while viewing the "wild life". "The Oasis" was our tropical escape from the cold winter at home. It's location was perfect, being from the Boston area the tropical tranquility was welcomed but there was always something to do close by for those times when we got the urge to step back into reality. I would recommend your home to anyone looking for an escape in the keys. Perfect setting! Perfect location! The locals very friendly and very helpful! It was just PERFECT! It's been 4 months since our visit and just got news that the last of the surviving whales were released last week!

    • We have so enjoyed your beautiful and comfortable home in the Keys - all the more so with each dreadful weather report of this past New England winter. (We are snowbirds from New Hampshire). We took particular delight in the gentle creatures that shared "The Oasis" with us: The hummingbirds that frequented the bright cactus flowers, the friendly Key deer that devoured our freshly planted herbs, the equanas and blue heron that staked their claim on the dock, the croaking tree toads and cooing morning doves. All were drawn, as we were, to this peaceful haven of tropical flora and balmy breezes. In fact, as our rental time drew to a close, we couldn't bear the prospect of leaving - so we bought a little "oasis" of our own in Little Torch and have moved from here to there, Life in the Keys is hard to beat! • March 1st,2003 - April 15th, 2003 Wow! What an "Oasis"! You have a lovely home and we have thoroughly enjoyed being here. This place has it all - We especially enjoyed swimming in the wonderful canal and dining on the screened porch. We have been coming to the Keys for 11 years - each time renting a different home - this has been the loveliest of all! If we didn't finally break down and purchase a home on Cudjoe Key, we would have definitely come back to the "Oasis". Enjoy many pleasant, happy years in your beautiful little piece of heaven! • The Titsworth family - 7/13/02 - 8/13/02 We really enjoyed your beautiful home. We are from Anna Maria Island, Florida and have come to the Keys every year for 19 years. We love the water and all 3 of our children, Lauren 13, Ally 9, and Jack 7 (he had his birthday party here with all the neighborhood kids) swim like fish and can all catch lobsters. Your house was equipped with everything we needed. Thanks for letting us enjoy this place and can't wait to return. We had a great lobster take and had grouper, snapper and dolphin dinners. Weather was perfect and visability at Looe Key was wonderful. Judy & Steve P.S. We also got to enjoy fresh pineapple from the garden. Yum!

There are many other homes to rent in the Florida Keys, but none like the Oasis... it's exotic & lush landscaping makes this a beautiful private retreat! When we first saw this home, we fell in love with it and decided on buying instead of renting again. It's a picture-perfect home-away-from-home, an escape from every day life, a romantic adventure and a family vacationer's paradise. Our home provides every comfort you may need! It's clean white tiled floors throughout the house with ceiling fans in every room, including the screened porch gives you a relaxed perspective on life. We leave our bikes behind for your use to enjoy, view and cruise the surrounding neighborhood. Sit back on the gliding swing while reading one of the many books all having the common theme of life in the Florida Keys. Or relax on the shaded patio, tiled in red, surrounded by lush tropical gardens while grilling lunch with the added pleasure of the outside tv. This is where you'll find "vacationing is easy". Our deep water swimming canal is only 5 homes away to open water for exceptional deep sea and flats fishing. You can enjoy every water activity just steps away. The #1 dive spot in the continental USA is Looe Key Resort and Marine Sanctuary and the recently named 2nd most beautiful beach in America, Bahai Honda State Park are both only 3 miles away. And it's only a 10 minute boat shuttle to take you to the exclusive Little Palm Island. They serve an excellent Sunday Brunch. All we ask is that you please treat our home with kindness. So come on down, indulge yourself, relax the body, lift your spirit and invigorate your soul. It won't be hard to fall in love with our home. The Oasis is a place where you'll find each day gets better than the one before. Carl & Debi Sanders Massachusetts (but only until retirement)
