The Harbor House location was great. Located in a quiet pocket of town yet still close to everything. Condo was very clean and bright. Appreciated the little things like laundry in the room. Other residents were quiet-no loud spring breakers. Hope to return next spring. Wish I could bring warm weather back to chilly Illinois.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

A Modern Condo with Everything You Need!

Friends of mine stay at this condo every year just about and recommended it to us when we were looking for a place to go on vacation. They spoke so highly of it. Turns out it was everything we could have asked for and more. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking utensil you could need. The washer and dryer in the unit was such a bonus! We really have no complaints about this unit at all, it was wonderful! Being someone who appreciates good design and decor, I really enjoyed the little things like the acid washed concrete flooring, the doors and the counter tops. Everything is so nice about this unit, I think we're probably spoiled now. As far as location, you're right across the beach, walking distance to 2 restaurants/bars and a 7/11. It's conveniently located to everything without being on a main road. Beautiful place and have already begun to recommend it to others.

In addition to the acid washed concrete floors, I spent over $3000 on modern wall limestone acid washes by a local artist. Perfect Place!!!!

We just returned from our trip to Treasure Island and this condo was PERFECT!!! Kevin was so great to work with, very accomodating and even called us our first evening there to make sure we were happy with everything. The condo was so clean, very modern and upgraded and the location was great!!! If I had any suggestions or comments for additions would be maybe a dvd player and I was hoping for lounge chairs by the pool BUT Kevin provides beach chairs and you can easily use those for the pool! The area was great, we enjoyed tryng so many of the local restaurants, we LOVED The Conch Republic Bar & Grill in Reddington Beach which is just about 7 miles from the condo. Overall we had a wonderful anniversary vacation and are so grateful to have found this location and condo! We will defintely be booking with Kevin for future vacations!!!

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Owner response: Great suggestions! Our family was at the condo and discovered that Caddy's By the Sea beach restaurant is now offering FREE full sized beach chairs and umbrella service, just a 4 minute walk from our condo. I wish we had space to store full sized lounger chairs for use at the pool and beach, but as you know we do not. I'm so sorry! I do make sure that there are 2 folding beach sitting chairs that fit into a canvas shoulder bag that you can take to the beach, but it is not the same as stretching out! I will purchase a DVD when I go back down next June, 2013, and I will store it under the kitchen island, so that when guests want to use the DVD player they can plug it into the USB port on the TV (They actually make DVD players with a USB connection, making it easy to plus into the side of the tv, not the back!). I wish I would have responded to your feedback previously, because I was just at the condo and could have easily done this. Maybe I will send one to my property management company and ask them to put it under the kitchen island cabinet. Thanks for helping me figure this out. Our 5 year old daughter brought her portable DVD player, but she would have much preferred to watch her cartoons in French on the big 42 inch flat screen! Hope to have you guys back again soon! Loved every minute spent on Treasure Island

Our first winter in Florida. Treasure Island is truly just that....A Treasure. Kevin's place was perfect for us. So bright and cheery, very clean, nice furnisihings. The best part for me was the closeness to the beautiful beach. I walked it everyday picking up shells. Some days there were many, and some days few. My husband and I took many side trips while there, Dali Museum (so worth visiting) Area fleamarkets, farmer's markets for fresh veggies. Visited the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa., Ft. Desoto Park., Visited all the neighboring beaches. Loved John's Pass. Loved Cady's and had breakfast and lunch there many times in their beachfront openair restaurant.. Made use of the coupons in local tourist newspapers. We booked again for next February (2013) and I can't wait to return.

I recommend this unit to anyone. It was described accurately and it is lovely, unique and comfortable. We had a wonderful time on Sunset Beach.

Terrific condo for two people looking for a quiet spot on the beach. It is well maintained and has all the amenities one could want. The pool and gulf are right there! The unit has first class televisions, modern lighting, fans, and kitchen appliances that are first class. We'll be back!!

Treasure Island condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Treasure Island. The condo was clean, well maintained and just as described. The owner and reservation company were helpful and easy to contact. The area is nice, close to restaurants, gas stations and shopping. I especially loved the Publix store around the corner! I absolutely loved that the beach was across the street. The washer and dryer located inside the unit were a definite bonus for washing beach clothes. My only (minor) negative comments are that the pool is nice, but a bit chilly and the shower head lacks in water pressure. I recommend this location and would like to go back in the future!

Owner response: Thanks for 5 out of 5 stars, Amy! I'm sorry the pool was a bit chilly. We just had a heater installed this January, and they are now only heating the pool November-April, as it is in the 90's most of the rest of the year. So sorry about that! My$400 Grohe "rain shower" head in the walk in shower area is "self cleaning", but with the hard water in Treasure Island, it needs a bit of help once in a while. My cleaning crew is to gently wipe the shower head with over 500 tiny plastic mini heads on it, and this breaks up the hard water deposits which slow the water flow. If the cleaning crew forgets to do this, I want guest to know that they can do it with their finger while the shower is on and that it can double the water flow through the rain shower fixture. That said, it is definitely meant to be a gentle rain like flow and does not have a high pressure option, so it might not be for some people. Hope this helps explain, since we really want our guests to enjoy their stay. Thanks again for the great review!! Isnt the new Publix grocery store two minutes away by car great? The Perfect Vacation

There were no surprises when we walked into this adorable condo. My daughter loved the decor and it was comfortable for the two of us. Parking right in front of the condo (six steps from car to door) was so nice when unloading and then loading the car. That was a first for me! I thought I would miss a balcony, but we just took our coffee a few steps over to the beach in the mornings. The location of the condo was so convenient. We had never been to this area before and loved the "beachy" feeling of the island. There is something there or near by for everyone. I can't wait to start planning our next trip. Thank you Kevin for your quick responses to my requests and your pleasant demeanor. It was the perfect vacation!

WOW! Words cannot adequately express how perfect our Treasure Island vacation was this past summer. This was our first rental home experience and it was great!! The condo was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities required for a perfect stay! Located right across the street from the beautiful, serene beach, this condo was absolutely perfect in every way! I am so glad that my family was able to experience such a relaxing vacation. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a peaceful beach vacation, with a small town feel but still located near several large cities. My family and I plan on returning....soon!!

The condo is so nice! The owner has certainly created a real treasure on Treasure Island. My husband & I were so pleasantly surprised, that we immediately called the owner and rented it again for next January and I hope many future Januaries. Neighbors call this condo "Park Avenue. Owner is wonderful to work with.

We have stayed in the St. Pete Beach area several times, but never on Sunset Beach. We were pleasantly surprised with the area. The condo was GREAT! It's perfect for a couple. The condo is beautifully furnished and supplied with dishes, pans and utensils. The full-size refrigerator is a big plus, too! If you want to find a party, go up the beach about a mile and find lots of activity. If you want peace and quiet, go across the street to the beach and enjoy the sand and shells! We were lucky! While we were there, we found about 30 sand dollars! What a treat!! The owner was more than helpful with any questions we had and was very quick to respond to our emails. We loved our stay in this condo and hope to stay again in 2009 if dates are open!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We did not know what to expect when we booked in this area.. What a delightful surprise! Everything the owner says about this condo is true. A beautiful area with a beautiful beach. We liked it so much that we booked for two months next year!! A perfect retreat for two. There were one or two minor cleaning issues which the owner is going to address but overall everything is as advertised. Restaurants shopping and churches are all very close. I would recommend this property to anyone. We are looking forward to next year!

We loved this place!! All the comforts of home!!! Great locationf for all types... quiet and relaxing or close to fun and excitment!! Owner sure took pride in this property he has furnished it with everthing you may need for your stay. The decor is modern and fun! From remote control fans to flat screen TV's to your very own washer and dryer!! This place will amaze you nestled in a quiet residential area yet the beautiful beach is steps away!! We highly recommmend this place and will be booking again for our next trip. The owner was extremely accommodating and took the time to answering all my questions! We've been back a week and miss the condo and area allready!! :(

Very clean, great bed,super tv's & laundry facilities. Other people in condos very friendly, actually quite a community. We liked the quiet road and easy access to the beach. We had a backup water problem in the shower and was fixed within 2 hours - great service. This condo is the best decorated and layed out, of the entire building. We will probably stay here again if its not rented out for our dates.

I just reserved our week for this summer. We stayed at this condo last summer, and my husband and I found it clean, comfortable, and quite cozy. The beach was really easy to access, and it was really private. VERY CLEAN BEACH!!! The swimming pool was rather small, and it was blocked from the sun most of the day as a large building is right next to it. However, the pool was clean. Caddy's was amazing and well worth a 5 minute walk up the beach. The food was great, and we loved eating in the sand. I can't wait until we get to go back this summer.

Recommended for: Romantic getaway

The room was clean and convenient to the beach. It is actually across the street from the beach not on the beach. The picture of the pool belongs to the condos that are across the street, not the condos that were advertised. We were told that we had full use of the pool, but never used it. It was a great deal for the price that we paid.

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This condo is better than expected, great for 2 or a small family. It is located on a very quiet residental street but is just minutes to wonderful resturants and places to see. (Johns Pass, Fort Desoto) We tried Leatherbacks, Gigi's (Italian), and The Hurricane, (sit on the roof and watch the sunset) and all were WONDERFUL. The condo was very comfortable and clean, hope to be able to stay again sometime.
