This large and stately home has beautiful architectural details including 14 foot ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors and large original windows allowing natural light throughout the home. The owners have meticulously restored this historic home and it includes all of the modern conveniences needed for today's world. Attention to detail is obvious upon entering through the front doors into the elegant hallway.
Two of the three bedrooms have en-suite dressing areas and beautiful hand-laid tile full baths with jetted tubs. Included is one king bedroom and two queen bedrooms. The den has a sofa that converts to a queen bed for additional guests. The dining room invites guests to the gourmet kitchen complete with wine cooler. The great room (den) invites guests to comfortable seating and table games along with cable TV and DVD player.
Doors open wide to a large patio and New Orleans courtyard filled with tropical plants and fruit trees. When you visit New Orleans, treat yourself to a gracious historical home in the Garden District. Our home is 1 block from Magazine Street filled with restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, art galleries and antique shops. A beautiful walk through the Garden District for 4 blocks takes guests to St. Charles Avenue where you can hop on the streetcar to visit the French Quarter or Audubon Park and our famous Audubon Park Zoo.
The Garden District of New Orleans has its own private security patrol 24 hours a day.
