Historic mid-century four bedroom home restored to accommodate the modern traveler with an eye for clean lines and spacious living! "Stella" is an authentic post-and-beam home furnished with Eames, Saarinen, and Mies van der Rohe-style furniture. The home was remodeled in 2004 with eco-friendly materials such as Slatescape kitchen counters, marmoleum flooring, ceramic tile in bathrooms, and restored oak throughout.
The bedrooms have built-in mahogany drawers and closets, each living room area has a cozy and efficient gas stove (one with a fireplace insert, the other a Scan stand alone stove from Denmark). There is also central forced gas and air-conditioning. Detached from the home is a 200 square foot yoga/meditation studio with electric heat and lots of natural light.
Stella is a located in the heart of the Westside residential neighborhood, eight blocks from the First Street Rapids and Deschutes River trail. The property is a double lot with a large fenced yard and wood patio, furnished with two lounge chairs and an outdoor table with seating for six. There is a also a gas grill and oversized built-in hot tub.
One of the best features of this house is the virtual wall of windows framing gorgeous southern mountain views. You can literally watch the weather coming in and see Bend's plentiful airborne wildlife soaring across town. This view also frames the stacks of the Old Mill, the signature three towers, and is unobstructed by any neighboring house.

Pet Friendly: We provided biodegradable dog waste bags, Zuke's dog treats, and lots of information on local dog walks and the local dog culture. We love dogs and all well-managed pets are welcome.
