My husband and I have raised 4 children in Pt. PLeasant Beach. Now we take our 6 grandchildren to the beach, boardwalks rides and aquarium regulary.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Helm House. The owner was great to work with and was quick with communication and making sure we had everything we needed. I liked the victorian style bedrooms, the beach-style living room & the retro kitchen. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The location is great, very quiet, & yet close to everything. The description is very accurate. The beach and our time in this town was wonderful! We felt like we could stay a long time. Recommend!!

My family stayed at The Helm House during the 3rd week of August, 2010. There were a total of 6 of us and we were quite comfortable with the amount of room we had. I was initially concerned about the kitchen; from the photos it looked dated. Turns out, however, that it was quite charming and fully equipped. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was newly renovated. We brought our small dog along, and especially liked having the breezeway as a place to keep the dog's crate when we were out of the house and the dog was alone. The washer and dryer worked perfectly and proved invaluable with all the beach towels and wet bathing suits. We also we grateful for the garage - it was a dry, secure place to store all of our beach gear and bikes. Since there were 6 of us, we did take advantage of the outdoor shower and really enjoyed it. It is very private, clean and comfortable. The house is centrally located - between the town and the beach. It's a good location for dog walking, too. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend this house.

Great place to stay. The property was clean and maintained. It was within walking distance to beach, board walk, restaurants, grocery store and shops in town. I recommend this property. I would stay there again.

We have stayed here two summers in a row and we love this house. We have two small children and we love that it is close to the beach and close to the park. The house is very clean and has everything you need Central air, cable, washer and dryer etc.... I highly reccommend staying here!

We had an enjoyable stay at the GHelm House. The house gave us many comforts during the week. 1)The quietness of the house provided much peace and relaxation for all. 2) the house ws in an ideal location. So we were enjoyuing our favorite pass times (shopping, eating and swimming). we took full advantage of it all. 3) Family togetherness - All the family was able to enjoy the house (moy mother, my father, my husband, my daughter and me). The week gave us opportunty to share the house for 7 days. Lastly the shore (Pt. Pleansant) was just what I needed after teaching all year. The house gave me a good feeling of how a shore home would be for my family. It was quite relaxing and we really enjoyed staying here for the week. Thanks for sharing your house!
