We returned from a perfect 4 day escape in Hayward. Eight of us, who met in college, had our most recent reunion and couldn't have been more pleased with the location, accommodations and availability of activities. The pine surrounded house is beautiful and very clean with everything you need for cooking for a large group. We enjoyed meals and "down" time in the sunny living areas decorated with lively artwork by Adu. The two levels with ample sleeping rooms and bathrooms allowed us to stay in the same place yet have plenty of space. We felt like we really experienced Wisconsin since everything we wanted to do was nearby. Here were the highlights: (we loved it all) * Biking on a 15 mile loop through woods, rolling fields and lakes - We rented bikes from NEW MOON on Hwy 63 which is a short ride from the house. * Pontooning on Round Lake....the clearest lake I have ever seen. We brought a cooler with lunch and drinks and had the best time visiting and swimming all over the lake. There is also a great sand peninsula for an off-the-boat experience. Daves BBQ is also on this lake if you want to bring the boat to the restaurant. We rented a pontoon from a nearby boat rental but there is also a boat rental shop on Round Lake. * Running on the shady and low traffic road a block from the house. There are cows, frogs, deer and plenty of "quiet" along this route. * The golf course and tennis courts are 1/2 a block away but we just didn't have time....next time! * Our favorite meal was in Cable (20 min drive)at a Pizza place called IDEAL MARKET behind a darling local bookstore called RedBerry. * Other great eating spots were : The Angry Minnow, West's ice cream (every night!!!) and Backroads. The grocery store called Marketplace the the Co-op have everything you need for meals at home. * A must see is the Lumberjack show and we were lucky enough to be there during the World Lumberjack Championship...we saw the top 8 compete in all of the events. So fun! * We also canoed/kayaked down the Namakogon River. Jacks Canoe Rental (20 min from the house) makes it easy and fun as they shuttle you to the boat landing of your choice and you end up back at your car. The river is great for paddling and swimming. There are tubes for rent too! We packed lunch and pulled over along the river to eat. This is a must on a sunny day. We had the best time. Thank you for all of your help in planning our trip! We loved everything about our stay.

This is our 2nd Christmas in your lovely home. After all of the e-mails it was great to finnally meet you! We have become great fans of Hayward Wisconsin. It is such a friendly town and has all of the amenities you might need. If you are new here, here's a list of "Must Do" -- Have lunch/dinner at the Angry Minnow -- Buy a pizza from Coop's -- Shopping local has The Marketplace, Lynn's for meat and the Bakery for everything. The House is amazing & Thanks Again for your Hospitality.

My girlfirends and I stayed for 3 nights at this home and it was very spacious, comfortable beds and very nice furniture. Not as close to downtown as we thought but still within walking distance. Had a great weekend. Address in on one side of the buidling and driveway is on the opposite side so it took a a while to figure that out. Thanks

Scott and Adu, It was wonderful to find your lovely, clean, well decorated and very spacious vacation property on VRBO! As a wheelchair user, it's difficult to find vacation accomodations that meet my needs. I had a fabulous week! Three days with a large family group and four with a group of women friends. Everyone had a great time! Walks to town to the bakery, candy store, restaurants and shops, more fun at the flea market, lumberjack show, area lakes for tubing and sking and the theater when it rained and plenty of time just relaxing with all the people I love the most. I'm sure we'll be back!

The Place was very Beautiful!! Furniture & Beds were the most comfortable in the 21 years we have been doing our weekends. Appreciated Scott's advice on where to eat. Robins Nest was great. Omlettes were excellent. SteakHouse & Lodge had wonderful food. We highly recommend this place !! Thanks, Scott & Adu

Hi Scott & Adu, Thank you so much for the wonderful rental. The house was beautiful and much more than we expected. The Sun Room was a big hit with everyone and the kids enjoyed the long driveway and the fire-pit. It was the first time our little guy ate a SMORE! We loved being so close to town. I lost count how many times we walked there. The Big Fish, Wilderness Walk, The LumberJack show,go-carting and golf were as exciting to my boys as it was for me 20 some years ago. We hope to come back next year. Thanks for being such a wonderful host, it was a pleasure meeting both you and Adu!

This place is AWESOME! Location is fabulous, within walking distance to great restaurants (highly recommend Coop's Pizza & The Angry Minnow) Golf at Bigfish & Hayward Golf & Tennis Club was terific. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable & in a great setting.Love the pine trees. Thanks for a few great days;we'll be back again & will bring friends.

What a terrific house! Everything was spotless and the owner is a delight to work with. We used it for a long weekend family reunion rendezvous and enjoyed the space to spread out, chat, and walk to town. We hope to rent every year (if it's not already booked...)!

We had a great time with our family staying at the Pine Villas. We were visiting during Musky Days and there was so much to see and do in and around Hayward. We went to a Lumberjack show, rented a pontoon boat on the Chippewa Flowage, golfed and ran a 5K. The accomodations were clean, well furnished and quiet. I would highly recommend the Pine Villas for your stay in Hayward.

Staying here was the highlight of our summer. We greatly appreciated the amenities/conveniences that made it feel like home. It was clean, comfortable and very well furnished. We were there during the Musky Festival and spent our days enjoying all of the actvities on the lakes and downtown. Thanks for a great vacation. We'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this new Hayward rental. The hospitable host was nice and very accommodating. This is a clean peaceful retreat with a classy rustic northwoods appeal with all the modern/new amenities. The Villa has an abundance of room, a full two car garage with tall ceilings (able to pull in SUV with luggage box on top) and is within walking distance to downtown Hayward. We can't wait to come back!! :)
