This spacious apartment has a total length of 26 metres, and measures about 120 square meters (1300 square feet) in size. An uniquely central location puts all major tourist destinations within easy walking distance. It is also an excellent spot to take the tram in all directions.
Spui Square is around the corner and you’ll also find some of the cities most famous restaurants such as "De Vijf Vlieghen" or "Haesje Claes." Dam Square is an easy 3 minute walk, Leidseplein is a 6 minute walk, and the canal belt starts one block from the apartment.
The apartment itself is impressing. Elegantly surrounded by sixteen large windows giving a feeling of comfort and space. The apartment comes with a flat-screen LCD TV and a DVD player/stereo. A small collection of movies and books is also available. A small but fully equipped kitchen is also among the additional features and the private bathroom comes with bath/shower.
The apartment also has a combined washer/dryer for your laundry. WiFi internet is included, so bring your laptop.
The bedrooms come with a double bed in each, and the lounge provides a comfortable sleeping sofa. This 2-bedroom apartment can cater for up to 6 persons making it both group and family friendly.
NB. The apartment is on the second floor; no elevator. So the apartment is not suitable for people with difficulties walking stairs.

Family of 4 with grandmother stayed here. We were met at the door when we arrived and were given access to leave our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned. Quite comfortable with the exception of the street noise from drunken revelers in the wee hours of the night. Internet went down several times but was re-instated as soon as Kees was informed. Could use a local phone in the unit otherwise perfect.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

The apartment is in a great location: close to trams, canals, restaurants, shopping, etc. The apartment is huge, with the bedrooms on opposite sides of the building and the kitchen/living area in between, also clean, with plenty of amenities. The interaction with the owner's representative was very good too. Th only concern worth noting is that the apartment is a little old, and it shows- the place and could use a coat of paint and minor refurbishment. Overall 7.5 out of 10Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

High season April-October and around Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Year. Short bookings (< wk) only 1 wk in advance or in case of a gap. 3 nts minimum. Short bookings are charged 1 nt extra. Cash payment on arrival (preferably euros). Paypal payments with creditcard possible
