Short introduction
This luxurious, recently renovated, canal house on the ground and 1st floor has its own patio. The house was build in 1610 and is decorated with copies of Masterpieces like The Night Watch from Rembrandt, the Sunflowers from Van Gogh, The Feast of St. Nicholas from Jan Steen and much, much more!
Covering 125 square meters(!), this large fully furnished classic home has a bedroom with original wooden ceilings and 3 comfortable sleeper sofas in the living room and kitchen. The apartment can host up to 6 persons. The apartment contains a magnificent kitchen with high-quality equipment, a large dining table and TV. It is a truly relaxing and nicely decorated home to enjoy a marvelous stay in the heart of Amsterdam.
Neighborhood and location
The house is situated just opposite our famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum. The Leidsesquare, theatres, PC Hooftstraat (the most famous shopping street), Vondelpark, Casino, "Het Spiegelkwartier" with the antique shops and Art Galleries and all the nice bars and restaurants, are all within a few hundred meters walking distance.
Living area
The living area with two connecting rooms has a double sleeper sofa, flat-screen TV, DVD player, hi-fi-stereo/CD and wireless Internet access. The sleeper sofa converts into a comfortable double bed. A one person sleeper sofa is placed in the other area of the living. High windows on street and patio side, plants, and works from the Old Masters create a lovely ambiance.
Kitchen
The beautiful large kitchen contains a hob stove with 4 gas cookers, dish-washer, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, blender, juicer, kettle and coffee maker. In the kitchen you will find a large dining table with 6 chairs, TV and another one person sleeper sofa.
Bedroom
The bedroom has a king-size double bed (180 X 200 cm), flat-screen TV, bedside tables, lamps, plenty of storage space and is located in the back of the apartment.
Bathroom
The glamorous bathroom contains a bath, separate shower, hand basin and toilet.
Paintings for sale!
All paintings in the house can be bought. Select the painting(s) you want to buy and pay during check out to the Property manager.
The paintings (size 40x50 cm) will fit into a regular travel bag.
Box-room
There is a box-room with washing machine and dryer. There is space enough to store 4 bikes!
