This was my first experience with renting a home from home away. I was looking for a great place for my family to get away, go skiing, and just enjoy each others company. Scott and Tracy's home at Camelback was simply perfect for us. The home was lovely, immaculate, and very roomy for our family of 8. It is literally down the road from skiing and each night we enjoyed cooking, and eating together. We played games by the fire and even enjoyed cocktails on the deck while taking in the gorgeous scenic view of the snowy mountains. Scott was such a pleasure to work with; always quickly responded to any inquires I had and made renting this home a piece of cake. My family had a great time and we will definitely stay here again. Thank you Scott and Tracy for sharing your wonderful home with us.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I had a great time at this rental. The home is in a great community literally across the street from Camelback Ski Resort. The home has great views of the mountain. The property is well maintained and clean. It was the perfect size for our group of 11 adults. There's something to do for everyone (even the non-skiiers/boarders). The home also has wifi which was a much appreciated convenience. The owner, Scott, was very easy to deal with and responds very quickly to any questions or requests. My family would definitely stay here again in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I had searched many listings before deciding to email Scott about his house at Camelback. I looked at all the benifits that this house offered; It was close to the slopes, extremely clean, nice deck with a great view of Camelback, gas grill for cooking, fireplace, 4 bedrooms with the all important bunk bed for the kids, 3 baths and of course wifi to stay in touch with the rest of the world. It even had a portable DVD player I was able to hook up for the kids to watch when going to bed. All the bedrooms had a TV also. Scott was a pleasure to work with and was always available to answere any questions. Once you arrive there is really no need to leave the mountain since you can cook all your meals and relax in style in front of the fire. We did go out to dinner at The Barley Creek Pub which was great but cooked in the other nights. I strongly recommend families consider this house. You will be very impressed and enjoy your stay. I know I will be renting this house again, when you find a good house that works you stick with it in the future. Thanks Scott....Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We stayed in Scott's rental for the weekend. He was pleasant to deal with and answered every question about reserving the property. Once we arrived the property was clean, well maintained, and the perfect space for our weekend needs. Everything was in order and it made a nice place to stay in our busy weekend.Recommended for: Families with young children.

My family of 5 stayed at this house for 3 nights and would loved to have stayed longer! We will definitely be back. The rooms are spacious and very nicely furnished with a mountain theme. All the beds were very comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows supplied. The master bedroom is like a suite of its own, nice to be able to close the door and get some quiet time away from the kids! The location on the top of the mountain has great views off of the back deck. The Crossings shopping outlet (lots of great stores) is a short drive, and Camelbeach Water Park/Ski area is almost within walking distance. Bushkill Falls, Pocono Candle (love the double scented!) and many other places we didn't have time to get to. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and easily available should you have any questions or problems. We truly felt like it was home for a few days. This vacation house is close to a lot of attractions but far enough away to have peace and quiet. We loved staying at the house so much we wishfully wondered about buying one in the same community! A fantastic place to get away, very private and peaceful and so much better than staying at a hotel/resort.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The house was great! It was comfortable and perfectly spacious enough for the 9 people that we had there. Clean and well kept. The owner was responsive and easy to deal with and the location was nice. Can't beat the views. The only negative was that they really ARE stringent with the parking policy in the community and it can be a bit of a pain if you have more than the allotted two vehicles because the overflow lot is at the bottom of the mountain. You also may need to bring or purchase your own toilet paper. Otherwise, it was lovely.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
