Ideal for a Romantic Getaway, our cabin sits high on the edge of the Pisgah National Forest, nestled within tall trees and abundant wildlife. You're going to enjoy getting back to nature and being dazzled by the environment that surrounds you.
Gorgeous views of Mount Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Parkway greet you each morning, so plan on starting your day feeling great! Large windows and two patio doors with access to the deck create the feeling of being outdoors while enjoying all the comforts of home.
Come in from a day of hiking, or other activity you've come to the mountains for, and enjoy the hot tub before settling in for the evening. It sits on the deck with the stars and moon overhead. Telescope provided with instructions if you want to get a close up of the night sky or just want to 'spy' on the birds and other wildlife.
Our cozy and inviting Great Room on the main floor provides an intimate atmosphere with a Sitting Area, Beautiful Wood burning Stove, Comfy Queen Bed nestled in an Aspen Log Frame, TV. Bath Room, and fully equipped Kitchen, including a gas grill on the deck. The small extra bedroom affords sleeping for one person in a twin. Downstairs (where you first come in), is a large finished area, where you will find the pool table, and this area is also perfect for parking bicycles or stashing gear. There is an extra bathroom with a shower in this area. Other amenities include Satellite TV, Free Wireless Internet Access and a phone is provided for your convenience since cell phone service is limited. Unlimited local and domestic long distance is included with this, free of charge. All linens, towels and kitchen utensils are included plus firewood.
The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 15 minutes away with a multitude of hiking and mountain biking trails. Downtown Asheville, only 20 minutes away, is a unique town with many cultural events. Enjoy strolling along the streets, ducking into the many interesting shops and galleries or tantalizing your taste buds with a snack or gourmet meal in one of Asheville's many fine dining spots. And you won't want to miss the incredible Biltmore Estate, only 20 minutes away! We now have available at the cabin, vouchers to purchase Biltmore tickets at discounted prices which beat their online prices.
The Asheville Area Airport is 30 minutes or 22 miles from our cabin.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary! This place holds a special place in our hearts as we visited over 5 years ago before we were married. We look forward to coming back for many yrs. to come. The spring weather was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for a drive along the parkway, hiking, a day at the Biltmore, food & drinks in downtown Asheville. Thank you Nancy for another great stay! This cabin is so private and cozy and it is perfectly situated on the side of the mountain. It is past the cabins of asheville and higher up than other residences in the area. The hot tub and deck overlook a gorgeous mountain vista as does the view from the cabin windows. This is more like an efficiency with the bedroom, wood burning stove and living space in one very cozy, yet spacious room. The kitchen is open off to the end and has everything you need. It is a wonderful idea because you never are in a place where you cannot look out the window and enjoy the view. The deck and hot tub are an outdoor extension of the living space. There is also a small bedroom and super cute bathroom for privacy. Downstairs is a game room and the main entry way. Asheville and the blue ridge are very easy to get to and although you feel like you are far away from everything you can get to downtown in 20 minutes! The owner was very helpful and very nice to talk with. The property was immaculate and we did not want to leave!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

What a wonderful, cozy little place...We wouldn't mind being snowed in here indefinitely! We woke up to magical snowflakes every day and between that, the hot tub and views of the mountains, it was a perfect paradise! We hope to be back in the summer! ~ If you are going into town ~ DocCheys, Salsa's and Tupelo Honey!! Thank you, Tara & Jason, Wilmington, NCDid you find this review helpful? Nancy, Thank you so much for the relaxing weekend at your cozy mountain cabin. This was our first trip to Asheville, and being able to bring the fury members of our family made it extra special. We enjoyed our time exploring Downtown, as well as the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The dogs are absolutely content & exhausted! We will never forget this perfect escape, The Treetop Mountain vista. Emily & Christian, Tinker & Jasper, Raleigh, NCDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: I grew up in Northern Wisconsin, right in the middle of lush forests and an abundance of natural lakes. You might say I was a 'country girl' and proud of it. In 1972 I moved to Florida to experience a different kind of life. Lots of sun, warm weather and gorgeous beaches. But still I had a dream, and that was to live in the mountains and be able to walk out on my deck and enjoy an amazing view. In 1996 I moved to Western North Carolina and have never looked back, because life in these mountains is everything I ever hoped it would be and more. Three years later I moved into my cabin and realized that my dream of having an amazing mountain view,(without even having to get out of bed)had come true. That first morning took my breath away as I opened my eyes and the first rays of sunlight hit Mt. Pisgah. Three years ago I moved into a different location here in the area and opened up my dream to others. It has turned out to be one of the greatest joys of my life, to share this remarkable home. The cabin is located right outside of Asheville, NC and I still live nearby. I take a personal interest in seeing to it that everything is perfect for each new guest to arrive. Thanks, Nancy
Why the Owner Chose Asheville:
I have lived in the Asheville area now for 13 years. I find it to be one of the most wonderful and unique places imaginable. I wouldn't live anywhere else for anything. Something for everyone I always say! For nature lovers we have the Pisgah National Forest and the Smoky Mountains with unlimited hiking and bicycling trails, lots of waterfalls and one of the most diverse ecological areas in the world with over 100,000 species of plants and animals. Not only are the natural surroundings diverse but so are the people with their attendant cultural interests. And speaking of culture, Asheville is a haven for artisans with numerous galleries and festivals to show off their talents. If you love music, you've come to the right place. Not only do we have numerous concerts in the area all the time but we also have Friday night drumming during warmer months in Pritchard Park and Shindig on the Green in the summer, both free to the public. You will frequently hear a lone musician or a combo providing music in front of the cafes, Fine Arts Theater or Malaprops Bookstore. And speaking of downtown Asheville, it is impossible to walk down any street, anytime of day, any day of the week, any time of year and not find lots of people abuzz with activity. It is just a lively and invigorating town. And Asheville has some of the very best cafes and coffee houses you will find anywhere. Have I convinced you that I love it here? If so, or even if not, come and find out for yourself why Asheville is listed in numerous magazines and books as one of the top places to live or visit in the entire world!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Treetop Mountain Vista is a single cabin off to itself to provide longed for privacy. No one will bother you as you enjoy the hot tub for two high up on the deck. Part of the deck is covered for dining outside, which you can still enjoy even in a peaceful rain. The hot tub is open so you can thoroughly enjoy the night sky. The queen bed is in the great room with a perfect view of Mt. Pisgah as you awaken in the morning or just taking a breather anytime of the day. Everything is provided for your experience of rustic beauty with more than just a touch of luxury. The view from nearly every window is inspiring. You are right at Mt. Pisgah and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin is surrounded by trees, and you'll be watching the view over the treetops(hence the name TREETOP MOUNTAIN VISTA). Behind the cabin is more mountain to explore. But right up highway 151 and the Blue Ridge Parkway are plenty of places to hike or ride your mountain bike. It's an exceptional location! Yet not at all far from Asheville, Waynesville, The Biltmore Estate, The North Carolina Arboretum and too much more to mention here.
